      Who is Jeff Stelling?
      Jeff was born Robert Jeffrey Stelling on March 18, 1955 and is an English sports journalist and sport television presenter.
      He was brought up in a council house in Hartlepool, his first job was with local newspaper The Hartlepool Mail.
      His first job in broadcasting was with the now defunct Radio Tees.
      Stelling also worked as a sports reader for TV-AM and Eurosport before his legendary association with Sky Sports began in 1992.
      He currently is the host Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports, but is set to step down.

      At the start of 05/06 Premier League season he became host of Monday Night Football.
      Stelling won the Sports Journalist Association, sports presenter of year award between 2005-2009.
      Jeff presented popular game show Countdown from 2009-11, but left to focus on his new role at Sky Sports; where he replaced Richard Keys as the main presenter of the channel’s live Champions League coverage between 2011-2015.
      Jeff currently hosts ITV game show Alphabetical.

      Jeff began presenting Soccer Saturday in 1994, since then he has embodied the show. His legendary wit, dramatic delivery and constant composure have made him a cult figure in the eyes of football fans.
      ‘Unbelievable Jeff’ a phrase coined by match day reporter Chris Kamara is now part of pop culture; the catchphrase has generated numerous memes and is a constant fixture on social media.
      But on October 30, 2021, he announced he is stepping down from the prestigious gig after THREE DECADES at Sky Sports.
      He said: “I have loved every moment of my 30 years with Sky.
      “But like very Saturday afternoon the time eventually comes to blow the final whistle.
      “I am proud to have been part of such a winning team for so long and look forward to the many more special moments on Soccer Saturday for the rest of this season – and perhaps another promotion push from Hartlepool United.”

      IT’S official – Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are going to war. Fury, half-brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson, has called for a clash with YouTube sensation Paul for months.

      And now he will finally get his chance, with SunSport recently revealing how the pair will clash in a December bout after a breakthrough in negotiations.
      The fight was confirmed on Friday, October 29 by promotor Frank Warren.
      Paul last fought in August, beating Tyron Woodley by split decision, while Fury outpointed MMA fighter Anthony Taylor on the undercard.
      Paul vs Fury will represent the former’s first dalliance with a fully-fledged pro boxer in his short career so far.
      And although Fury has predominantly fought boxers throughout his career, many regard Paul to be one of his toughest tests yet.

      When is Paul vs Fury?

      Jake Paul will fight Tommy Fury on Saturday, December 18.
      The fight will take place at the Amelie Arena in Tampa.
      The event should pull in thousands of spectators, with the arena having a capacity of 21,000.
      With the fight being held in the USA, expect it to take place in the early hours of Sunday morning in the UK.

      Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant: UK start time, date, live stream, TV channel, undercard for HUGE super-middleweight clash

      CANELO ALAVREZ returns to the ring against Caleb Plant in a massive super-middleweight undisputed title fight.Alvarez was last in action back in May, when he TKO’d Billy Joe Saunders in the 8th round of their title clash in Texas.

      Plant has had to wait a little longer for this fight, having not fought since January, when he outpointed Caleb Truax.
      The Nashville fighter won his first world title in 2019, beating Venezuelan Jose Uzcategui, and has since defended it three times.
      Alvarez is on a hot streak of wins following his draw with Gennady Golovkin back in 2017.
      He’s since beaten Golovkin, Rocky Fielding, Daniel Jacobs, Sergey Kovalev, Callum Smith, Avni Yildirim and Saunders, becoming a four-weight world champion in the process.
      Plant’s IBF title at 168lbs represents the final piece of Alvarez’s jigsaw, which could see the Mexican crowned as his country’s first ever undisputed champion.
      Alvarez and Plant had originally planned to clash back in September, but negotiations fell through before a solution was found weeks later.
      The fight will be held on Showtime pay-per-view in the U.S., which will be the first time Alvarez hasn’t fought on DAZN stateside since 2018.
      A win for either fighter would crown the second undisputed champion in 2021, after Josh Taylor picked up all the belts at 140lbs in his win over Jose Ramirez back in May.
      When is Canelo vs Plant?

      Canelo Alvarez’s big fight with Caleb Plant will take place on Saturday, November 6.
      The fight will emanate from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
      There should be close to 15,000 fans in attendance at the huge event.
      Canelo vs Plant will get underway in the early hours of Sunday, November 7 for fans in the UK, with ring-walks set for around 4am GMT.

      Who could Canelo Alvarez fight after Caleb Plant?
      Assuming Alvarez beats Plant and ends his streak with all four 168lbs belts in his grasp, the opportunities to have mega-fights from thereon would be near endless.
      Alvarez is a huge star in the U.S. and Mexico and can continue to fight on pay-per-view, as a free agent, for the rest of his career, if he wanted.
      If Alvarez were to stick around with PBC and Showtime for a while, a big-money fight with Jermall Charlo, the current WBC middleweight champion, would make sense.
      There’s also former champion at super-middleweight and rising star David Benavidez to possibly contend with.
      With DAZN, however, there’s still a potential trilogy fight with Golovkin to explore, with the Kazakh fighter still feeling begrudged about the results in their first two fights.
      Otherwise Alvarez could revisit the light-heavyweight division, where’s previously been the WBO champion after beating Kovalev in 2019.
      Current WBC and IBF champ Artur Beterbiev would arguably represent the toughest test of Alvarez’s career, as he boasts a menacing 100% KO ratio, the only titleholder in boxing to have that under his belt.
      Or there’s WBA champion Dimitry Bivol, a route that seems the more likely, given his relationship with promoter Eddie Hearn, whom Alvarez is closely aligned with. More

      Welcome to Wrexham – Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney documentary release date on Disney Plus

      THE sensational takeover of Wrexham FC by two Hollywood heavyweights is set to be a streaming smash. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their takeover of the Nations League club in February 2021 and were spotted at their first match this October.

      And now the rags to riches story is set to be told in a brand new documentary called Welcome to Wrexham.
      When is Welcome to Wrexham released?
      The new documentary will chronicle the A-listers purchase of the club – and their ambitions to take Wrexham up the league ladder.
      Their interest in the club was confirmed in November 2020, with the pair confirming their stake in the club four months later.

      In a statement, they revealed: “It is a special day for the two of us to become the latest stewards in the long and storied history of Wrexham AFC.”
      “Together with the players, the staff, the fans, and the local community, we can now pursue our goal to grow the team and return it to the EFL in front of increased attendances, and in an improved stadium, while making a positive difference to the wider community in Wrexham.
      “Wrexham AFC is only in a position to thrive because of the incredible efforts of the Wrexham Supporters Trust.
      “Their members are a fitting reflection of the integrity and spirit of the town and they will always have an important role at the club.”
      With them came the cameras as Welcome to Wrexham has been in production ever since.
      As yet, the release date is unconfirmed but is likely to be in the second-half of 2022.

      Georgina Rodriguez grew up in Jaca, a city in north eastern Spain and part of the province of Huesca, near the Pyrenees.
