      AFTER weeks of negotiation, Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte look finally set for their all-British showdown. Fury is the reigning WBC heavyweight champion after back-to-back victories over Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas.

      The Gypsy King retained his crown by emphatic knockout back in October last year, with unification against then-champ Anthony Joshua eyed up.
      AJ was to ultimately lose his own title defence to Oleksandr Usyk and now the pair are poised to rematch, so Fury’s attention has turned to Dillian Whyte as he puts his belt on the line once again.
      Whyte was named by the WBC as the mandatory challenger on December 7, but the fight has run into a number of difficulties since then.

      The 6ft 9in undefeated ace wanted Whyte to accept around £5m to step aside and let him fight Usyk.
      But Whyte’s team have dug in with their man wanting the chance to take Fury’s belts – and they look to have finally got their wish.
      After FOUR delayed purse bids for the clash – the final auction is now scheduled for Mexico City on Friday, January 28 – Fury suggested the negotiations were over and Whyte had got his shot.
      The Morecambe giant boomed: “I can’t wait to punch Dillian Whyte’s face right in, mate.
      “I am going to give him the best hiding he has ever had in his life.
      “Dillian Whyte, train hard because you are going to get annihilated, bum.”

      When is Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte?

      As yet, there is no confirmed date for the all-British showdown.
      But if made it is expected to be in late March/April this year.
      Fury hasn’t fought in the UK since 2018 when he faced Sefer Seferi in Manchester and then Francesco Pianeta in Belfast.

      What is the fight venue?
      The most likely venue for the event is reportedly Cardiff or Manchester, but no details are set in stone.
      If Fury returned to his roots in the North West it would be his first appearance there in three years since the win over Seferi.
      And either venue would be great news for UK fight fans, with the bout likely to take place at a friendlier time than the 5am GMT epics against Wilder.

      Which TV channel and live stream will it be on?
      Again, with no concrete details everything at the moment is just speculation about the fight.
      Make sure you check back to SunSport regularly for all the latest.
      But the bout is almost certain to be a pay-per-view event and which platform it is shown on will depend on who promotes the fight.
      Fury vs Wilder 3 cost £24.95 to watch on BT and we’d expect something similar for this all-British title clash.

      Players are becoming more worn and tired, while managers continue to utilise their squads in the best way they can.
      But now Premier League sides can rest easy, as they embark on a mini break to recuperate ahead of the rest of the season.
      The only losers in this situation are the fans, who are already counting the days down for football’s return.
      Why are there no Premier League games this weekend?
      To allow teams to rest and rejuvenate themselves ahead of a busy final third of the season, players will get this coming weekend off.
      There will be no Premier League games on Saturday, January 29 or on Sunday, January 30.
      But there’s still one game which will go ahead before the full return to fixtures on February 8.

      Burnley vs Watford, which was recently postponed due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the Clarets’ dressing room, will go ahead on February 5.
      No other Premier League games are set to be played on that weekend, but it will see the return of FA Cup fourth round action.
      On February 8, top-flight footy will return with Everton vs Newcastle, Burnley vs Man Utd and West Ham vs Watford.
      And the next full weekend to welcome back most teams is February 12 and February 13.
      Chelsea are the only side who won’t play another Premier League game until at February 19 at the earliest.
      The Blues head to the UAE in early February to take part on the Club World Cup, which they qualified for with their Champions League victory last season.

      Rodriguez now lives in Manchester with Ronaldo, with the 36-year-old having re-joined the club he left in 2009 last summer.

      The brand-new show, which is also set to feature Ronaldo, will be released on Thursday, January 27 across the world.
      “I am Georgina is what is behind the covers, the stories and the red carpets,” Rodriguez wrote on Instagram.
      “Georgina is totally honest and ­recognises in the documentary her life changed from having nothing to ­absolutely everything,” Netflix Spain Director Alvaro Diaz said.

      I am Georgina will be available in its entirety on Netflix.
      The streaming site picked up the rights to the series last year and are set to make huge amounts of revenue off the back of its impending success.
      By the looks of the trailer, fans will also get a sneak peek into Ronaldo and some of the more personal moments of his life.
      In an interview with Piers Morgan back in 2019, Ronaldo spoke emotionally about his relationship with Rodriguez.
      “She helped me so much. Of course I’m in love for her.
      “She’s the mum of my kids, and I’m so passion for her, you know. It’s great,” he added.

      AS ever, there’s sure to be plenty of final day drama as clubs across Europe open the chequebook. 
      This year the transfer window will close for Premier League and EFL clubs on Monday, January 31.
      Once the window is closed, only emergency loans and free agents can be signed.
      What time does the window close?

      Players are becoming more worn and tired, while managers continue to utilise their squads in the best way they can.
      But now Premier League sides can rest easy, as they embark on a mini break to recuperate ahead of the rest of the season.
      The only losers in this situation are the fans, who are already counting the days down for football’s return.
      Why are there no Premier League games this weekend?
      To allow teams to rest and rejuvenate themselves ahead of a busy final third of the season, players will get this coming weekend off.
      There will be no Premier League games on Saturday, January 29 or on Sunday, January 30.
      But there’s still one game which will go ahead before the full return to fixtures on February 8.

      Burnley vs Watford, which was recently postponed due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the Clarets’ dressing room, will go ahead on February 5.
      No other Premier League games are set to be played on that weekend, but it will see the return of FA Cup fourth round action.
      On February 8, top-flight footy will return with Everton vs Newcastle, Burnley vs Man Utd and West Ham vs Watford.
      And the next full weekend to welcome back most teams is February 12 and February 13.
      Chelsea are the only side who won’t play another Premier League game until at February 19 at the earliest.
      The Blues head to the UAE in early February to take part on the Club World Cup, which they qualified for with their Champions League victory last season.
