      When are EFL play-offs 2021/22? Championship semi-finals CONFIRMED, League One and League Two dates

      THE EFL has reached its business end as teams look to secure those promotion places.And as every year, in each of the three divisions, four teams will compete in the play-offs with only one earning promotion in the Wembley finals.

      Brentford were last year’s play-off winners after a comfortable 2-0 victory over Swansea at Wembley.
      When are the EFL play-off finals?
      The dates for each of the EFL play-off finals have been confirmed and will take place across two weeks.
      The League One final will be played a week before the League Two and Championship finals as Wembley is unavailable on the Bank Holiday Monday of May 30.
      The reason for this is the Uefa-Conmebol Finalissima, which will see European Champions Italy take on Copa America winners Argentina at the national stadium on Wednesday, June 1.
      Confirmed EFL play-off final dates:

      League One play-off final – Saturday, May 21
      League Two play-off final – Saturday, May 28
      Championship play-off final – Sunday, May 29

      TODD BOEHLY is an American mogul and a billionaire who is taking over Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.On Friday, May 6, Boehly and his consortium signed an agreement to buy the Blues in a deal reportedly worth around £4.25bn.

      But who exactly is he and how did he become so successful?Who is Todd Boehly?
      Alongside being a philanthropist and an investor, Todd Boehly is a Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and controlling member of Elridge Industries – a private investment firm located in Greenwich, Connecticut.
      He is also the current interim CEO of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association as of October 2021 and owns 20% of the Los Angeles Dodgers alongside co-owner of the Los Angeles Sparks which all contributes to his valued net worth of £4.72 billion.
      Boehly is 46 years of age with three sons named Nick, Zach and Clay and the American is married to Katie Boehly.
      Todd’s grandparents immigrated to the US from Germany which enabled the successful businessman to graduate from Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland during the year of 1991.
      Boehly also joined the school’s wrestling team during his school years and they won consecutive I.A.C. championships.
      Five years later, the American found himself graduating again but this time, he obtained a degree in Finance having studied at the London School of Economics.
      Shortly after, Boehly began working at Citibank and then at Credit Suisse First Boston to accumulate some experience in the finance sector.

      How did Todd Boehly become a billionaire?
      Once Boehly had gained sufficient knowledge at his entry level jobs, he joined Guggenheim Partners in 2001.
      This is where the billionaire launched the firm’s credit investing business, took on any asset management business responsibilities and became president of the company.
      Todd then constructed a major deal in 2013, between Time Warner Cable and the famous baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers to create SportsNet LA – a regional network to broadcast anything in relation to the Dodgers. But it didn’t come into play until the following year.
      However, 2015 was the year where Boehly really joined the road to riches because the American mogul invested in some of the assets he collected at Guggenheim, including The Hollywood Reporter, Dick Clark Productions, and Security Benefit to found his current firm Eldridge Industries.
      And he also went on to own a technology company, invested in real estate, and get involved within food industry.

      Canelo said: “[Dmitry’s] a really good boxer. He’s a solid champion at 175. It’s a dangerous fight. I like it, I love that kind of challenge.
      “I really like it. But, I believe in my abilities, and I’m strong too. So, I’m confident in that, but it’s gonna be a really good fight.

      Mohamed Zidan was told by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ‘100 times’ that he was a better player than Mo Salah

      MOHAMED SALAH has excelled since joining Liverpool from Roma back in the summer of 2017.He has bagged a quite brilliant 155 goals in 249 appearances for the Reds and been an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s transformation at the club.

      But fellow Egyptian Mohamed Zidan once revealed the former Borussia Dortmund boss told him he thought he was ‘100 times’ better than Salah while at the German side.
      Speaking to ON Sport in January 2020, Zidan said: “Klopp told me that I was better than Salah 100 hundred times but I needed to be more professional.
      “Klopp said to me that I have a great talent and skills but I need to concentrate more. If I did this I could be one of the best players in the world.”
      However, while Zidan enjoyed a solid career with teams such as Dortmund, Mainz, Hamburg and Werder Bremen, he admits he lacked a good work ethic, which meant he never hit the heights Salah has done in recent seasons.
      “I had to be more dedicated to training and be more professional to reach Salah’s level in the past,” he added.
      “Salah is more professional than me and more dedicated to football like Ronaldo and Messi.”
      Zidan netted 102 club goals in 294 games throughout his 16-year career, but never managed to bag 20 in one season.
      One of his career highlights was scoring the only goal for Egypt in a 3–1 defeat to England in March 2010.
      Salah, on the other hand, scored 44 times in his first season for Liverpool and followed that up with 31 and then 30 in the last two campaigns.
      And upon arriving at Anfield, Zidan said back in November 2018 that Salah was carrying on a long legacy of Egyptians playing in the Premier League.

      FORMULA ONE mogul Lewis Hamilton has responded to the FIA’s decision to ban drivers from wearing jewellery – by turning up with more jewellery.The governing body for world motorsport clarified that non-regulatory underwear and body piercing were forbidden in the Miami Grand Prix.

      What is the jewellery ban?
      The FIA highlighted an existing regulation which states that the ban of jewellery is due to the risk of increased heat transmission in case of fire, or objects snagging or becoming dislodged in serious accidents.
      This ban has existed since 2004 and Formula One race director Niels Wittich plans to keep the rules in place.
      Wittich further clarified the rules by saying: “The wearing of jewellery during this competition can hinder both medical interventions as well as subsequent diagnosis and treatment should it be required following an accident.
