      Who is Chris Kamara, why is he quitting Soccer Saturday and what is Apraxia?

      CHRIS KAMARA has forever been a legend among football fans, whether it be for his playing days as a tough-tackling midfielder or his enthusiastic pundit on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday.More recently, however, Kammy has opened up on his struggles with Apraxia and is set to quit the 3pm Saturday goal updates show.

      What is Apraxia and how does it affect Kammy’s TV work?
      Apraxia is a neurological disorder that affects a persons ability to perform learned movements on command, even though the command is understood and there is a willingness to perform the movement.
      After struggling with the condition Kammy put out a message following an episode of soccer Saturday, hoping to provide his viewers with an explanation for his slightly slurred and stuttering speech.
      Speaking on Good Morning Britain Kammy said: “My apraxia, when it’s bad stops those signals from that brain going to that mouth. It slows it down, at times it slurs the words as well. People are looking thinking ‘is he all right? Is he drunk? What’s the matter with him?’
      “When I put out the message after Soccer Saturday, I never in a million years expected that response, but everyone has been so brilliant, so kind. People have got in touch who I haven’t spoken to in 30 or 40 years to wish me well.”
      Who is Chris Kamara?
      Born December 25, 1957, Christopher Kamara, or Kammy, is a former professional footballer who now works as a presenter and football analyst at Sky Sports.
      In his footballer days, Kammy played for various clubs, including Brentford, Swindon Town and Leeds United.
      He was appointed Bradford City manager in November 1995 and took the club from potential relegation to play-off promotion winners in 1996.
      He joined Sky Sports in 1999 and has co-presented Goals on Sunday with Ben Shephard and former Arsenal Women footballer Alex Scott since 2000.

      What other television work has he done?
      Alongside his work for Sky Sports, Kammy presents ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK, again with Ben Shephard, and Rochelle Humes.
      Kammy has also appeared on The Chase: Celebrity Special, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Loose Women. He is a regular in betting app Ladbrokes adverts, appearing in many notable campaigns since 2012.
      Most recently, Kammy took part in the Strictly Come Dancing special for Sport Relief 2018.
      This is not the first time Kammy has been on Sport Relief as he previously appeared as a contestant for The Great Sport Relief Bake Off in 2016.

      Chris married his wife Anne in 1982.
      The couple have two children together.

      But who exactly is he and how did he become so successful?Who is Todd Boehly?
      Alongside being a philanthropist and an investor, Todd Boehly is a Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and controlling member of Elridge Industries – a private investment firm located in Greenwich, Connecticut.
      He is also the current interim CEO of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association as of October 2021 and owns 20% of the Los Angeles Dodgers alongside co-owner of the Los Angeles Sparks which all contributes to his valued net worth of £4.72 billion.
      Boehly is 46 years of age with three sons named Nick, Zach and Clay and the American is married to Katie Boehly.
      Todd’s grandparents immigrated to the US from Germany which enabled the successful businessman to graduate from Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland during the year of 1991.
      Boehly also joined the school’s wrestling team during his school years and they won consecutive I.A.C. championships.
      Five years later, the American found himself graduating again but this time, he obtained a degree in Finance having studied at the London School of Economics.
      Shortly after, Boehly began working at Citibank and then at Credit Suisse First Boston to accumulate some experience in the finance sector.
      How did Todd Boehly become a billionaire?
      Once Boehly had gained sufficient knowledge at his entry level jobs, he joined Guggenheim Partners in 2001.
      This is where the billionaire launched the firm’s credit investing business, took on any asset management business responsibilities and became president of the company.
      Todd then constructed a major deal in 2013, between Time Warner Cable and the famous baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers to create SportsNet LA – a regional network to broadcast anything in relation to the Dodgers. But it didn’t come into play until the following year.
      However, 2015 was the year where Boehly really joined the road to riches because the American mogul invested in some of the assets he collected at Guggenheim, including The Hollywood Reporter, Dick Clark Productions, and Security Benefit to found his current firm Eldridge Industries.
      And he also went on to own a technology company, invested in real estate, and get involved within food industry.

      What’s Jim Ratcliffe’s net worth and when did potential Chelsea owner start Ineos?

      Who is Jim Ratcliffe and what is his net worth?
      Jim Ratcliffe is a fracking and chemicals entrepreneur who has topped chart of the UK’s wealthiest 1,000 people in The Sunday Times Rich List 2018.
      The Brexit-backing businessman is the chairman and CEO of chemicals group Ineos.
      He increased his wealth by more than £15billion in 2017 to take the top spot on the Sunday times Rich List.
      But the 66-year-old came from humble beginnings.
      Brought up in a council house near Manchester by his joiner dad and office manager mum, he went on to study for an MBA from London Business School.
      He is the first British-born industrialist to top the list, according to a Sunday Times profile.
      Ratcliffe is also the first UK-born person to top the rich list since the Duke of Westminster in 2003.
      Sir Jim recently said that he looks forward to Britain throwing off the shackles of Brussels when we finally quit the EU.
      He said: “The Brits are perfectly capable of managing and don’t need Brussels telling them how to manage things.”

      When did he start Ineos?
      Ratcliffe is the chairman and chief executive of the Ineos chemicals group, which he founded in 1998.
      From a small base in Hampshire, using high-yield debt to fund deals, he started buying unwanted operations from groups such as BP, picking targets based on their potential to double their earnings over a five year period.
      In 2006, Ineos bought BP’s refining and petrochemical arm Innovene, giving Ineos refineries and plants in Scotland, Italy, Germany, France, Belgium and Canada.
      Then, in April 2010, Ratcliffe relocated Ineos’ head office to Rolle in Switzerland, cutting the company’s tax bill by £100million per year.
      Millions of Brits unwittingly use Ineos products every day.
      They are used to clean water, make toothpaste, manufacture antibiotics, insulate homes and package food.
      The chemicals giant has an annual turnover of about £45bn and employs more than 18,500 people at 181 sites across 22 countries.
      Runner Eliud Kipchoge, 34, smashed his target by 20 seconds to complete the race in 1:59:40 in the Ineos 1:59 Challenge in Vienna today.
      The event was bankrolled by petrochemicals company Ineos, owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

      When was Jim Ratcliffe knighted and will he buy Chelsea Football Club?
      Ratcliffe was knighted in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list on June 2, 2018.
      He received the honour for services to business and investment.
      The billionaire has approached Roman Abramovich to buy Chelsea Football Club.
      But his advances are understood to have been rejected by the Russian oligarch.
      However, in July fresh reports emerged linking him with a takeover of the club.
      The Secret Footballer Twitter account claimed that Sir Jim is closing in on purchasing the Blues.
      Sources close to Chelsea though were quick to rule out any sale.
      But in March 2019, The Times said Ratcliffe is keen to purchase Chelsea, if owner Roman Abramovich drops his £2.5bn asking price.
      Abramovich has reportedly become detached from the club since he was denied a visa renewal in 2018 and forced to use an Israeli passport to visit the UK six months at a time.
      As a result, plans to rebuild Stamford Bridge have been put on hold and the need for a new stadium is one reason why Sir Jim will not pay £2.5bn for the club.
      What other sports teams does Jim Ratcliffe own?
      Sir Jim Ratcliffe purchased Swiss top flight football team FC Lausanne-Sport in 2017.
      He bought OGC Nice in 2019, when Patrick Vieira was the manager but the current Crystal Palace boss was sacked a year later.
      And the keen cyclist took over Sir Dave Brailsford’s cycling setup Team Sky and rebranded them Team Ineos in 2019.
      They have since won the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia under his ownership.
      He also sponsored Sir Ben Ainslie’s America’s Cup team, called Ineos Team UK – Royal Yacht Squadron Racing Ltd.

      Does he have children?
      Jim Ratcliffe divorced wife Amanda Townson in 1995 after a ten-year marriage. They had two sons.
      Sir Jim also has one daughter with his second wife, Alicia.
      He lives in Chelsea and Hampshire and, in May 2017, submitted his fifth plan to build a luxury home at Thorns Beach, near Beaulieu – to replace an existing two-bedroom bungalow.

      The Puerto Rican is backed by social media star and boxer Jake Paul, who worked with Eddie Hearn to get the fight over the line.
      Both Taylor and Serrano have been gunning for this fight for two years, with it originally slated to take place in March 2020.
      But a couple of years on, and the pair have managed to nearly sell out Madison Square Garden, with only a few hundred tickets remaining.
      When is Taylor vs Serrano?

      Taylor’s massive clash with Serrano will take place on Saturday, April 30.
      The fight will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY.
      There will be close to 18,000 fans in attendance at the fight to watch the massive event.
      Expect the main event to get underway at 9.45pm ET (2.45am UK time).
