      Soccer Aid 2022 presenters: Who will be on the panel for London’s HUGE event?

      SOCCER AID will be gracing our screens THIS WEEKEND – and there will be a roster of celebrities on and off the field.Every year, London’s major event blesses its viewers with a host of popular figures to present the build up and coverage of the match.

      Who will be presenting at Soccer Aid 2022?
      UNICEF UK Ambassador Dermot O’Leary will be reclaiming his usual role as the main presenter for Soccer Aid 2022.
      Popular television and radio star Maya Jama is set to join O’Leary where she’ll be providing her thoughts as a pundit.

      LONDON is in for a treat as the world’s biggest celebrity football match takes place this weekend. Soccer Aid is returning to the capital to once again raise money for a fantastic cause.

      Thought of in 2006 by iconic song-writer Robbie Williams, a combination of ex-professional footballers and celebrities make up an England side and likewise for a Rest of the World XI team.
      They then go head-to-head in an annual charity match which provides entertainment with a pinch of competitiveness whilst raising money for disadvantaged children and adolescents.
      The line-ups for this edition’s Soccer Aid have already been revealed with some familiar faces such as Arsene Wenger, Liam Payne and the world’s fastest man Usain Bolt in the mix.

      But why has the match been called off and what caused the postponement nine months ago?

      The South American giants were due to meet at the MCG on Saturday, June 11 in Australia where approximately 60,000 tickets had already been sold.
      But the Brazilian Federation CBF stated that the decision to cancel the match was down to the Argentine Federation.

      And despite there being no comments coming out of the Argentine camp, early reports suggested that they were reluctant to travel which was later on confirmed by the match organisers.
      A statement read “Regrettably, event organisers have been informed by Pitch, the Superclasico 11 June 2022 match agent, that contrary to their prior agreement and commitment to do so, Argentina are no longer prepared to travel to Australia for the match against Brazil.”
      There is no rescheduled date as of yet.
