Silva has been in the boxing ring before, beating former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr last year, before knocking out UFC veteran Tito Ortiz a few months later.
And now the Brazilian will get one of the biggest paydays of his career to face Paul, who has yet to lose in the squared circle.

“But I respect this man. I’m still going to knock him out but respectfully knock him out.”
Silva said: “Listen, everything is possible. Jake and [his] brother are training hard [to become] boxers. [They] try to [show] respect for the community. The kids have good potential and the people need to respect that.”
“I don’t feel pressure any more because everything I do in this sport and MMA I do with my heart.

Why do Man City fans boo the Uefa Champions League anthem?

MANCHESTER CITY are looking to win their first ever Champions League this season, having come so close on previous occasions. This year, the group stages campaign kicked off with a 3-1 win over Sevilla, and they also have Borussia Dortmund and Copenhagen still to play.
Man City fans routinely boo the Champions League anthem before games
And there will also likely be a return of the booing by the City fans for the European competition’s anthem.
But why do supporters do it?Why do Man City fans boo the Champions League anthem?
This is not something that happened overnight, rather several decisions that has built a dislike in a majority of the club’s supporters towards Uefa.
It started during their 2011-12 Europa League campaign, when Porto were fined just 20,000 euros when their fans racially abused former City striker Mario Balotelli.
This is despite the Citizens receiving a 30,000 euro fine just a month later for returning to the pitch 30 seconds late for the second half in their fixture against Sporting Lisbon.
    Most Read In Football
Their dislike continued in 2014 when Uefa hit them with a £49m fine for falling foul of the Financial Fair Play rules, along with transfer spending and squad size restrictions.
Tensions reached its peak later that year, when City fans had pre-booked flights and hotel rooms for their match with CSKA Moscow, only to learn the Russian club had a stadium ban.
While understandable after their fans’ racial abuse and behaviour, some City supporters still attempted to get in, only to be stopped – yet hundreds of CSKA fans were inside, in front of Uefa delegates.
No sanctions or consequences for it – but the Moscow outfit had their ban reduced on appeal. More

The 2021 champion now has a 116 point lead over his nearest rival, Charles Leclerc, after a dominant campaign behind the wheel.
Verstappen has been in a different league to everyone else, and can wrap up the title when the action resumes in October.
The Russian GP was scheduled to be next on the calendar, but the race was postponed following the invasion of Ukraine earlier this year.
That means the Singapore GP on October 2nd is the next chance for points.

The title will be his for a second year on the bounce if he extends his lead to 138 points by the end of that Grand Prix, with five races and one sprint race remaining.
That would be the case if Verstappen wins the race, and Leclerc finishes ninth or lower.
He also leads Sergio Perez by 125 points, and George Russell by 132 points.
The Dutch driver has the record for most wins in a season firmly in his sights.

The current record of 13 wins in a season is held by Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel.
But with six races left, Verstappen needs to win just three of those to become the outright record holder.
While the record for most consecutive race wins could be on the card.
Another record held by Vettel, who won nine races on the bounce in 2013. More

When is Eubank Jr vs Benn?

Eubank Jr’s massive clash with Benn will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
The fight will take place at the O2 Arena in front of 18,000 fans.

“He has walked the same path as I have. I know his struggle. Living in the shadow of a legend and trying to break out of that shadow and make his own name. If he can beat me, his name will be made, and he will never walk in his father’s shadow again.

“My team and I had other options on the table as I’m currently ranked top 5 with all governing bodies at Welterweight and no doubt I’m looking for a World Championship fight very soon, but this fight is embedded with so much history and I know it’s one the public really want to see.
