      The highly-anticipated Champions League round of 16 will be taking place on Monday, November 7.

      How does the Champions League round of 16 draw work?
      The draw features 16 teams – the winners and the runners-up from each of the eight Champions League groups.

      There will then be a seeding pot formed consisting of the eight group winners while the other seeding pot is set to include the eight runners-up.
      No team can play a club from their group or and side from their association.

      When is the Europa League round of 32 draw?
      The Europa League knockout draw will be taking place on Monday, November 7.
      It is scheduled to get underway 12pm UK time – 1pm local time.

      Where can I watch the Europa League knockout draw?
      The draw will be live on UEFA’S official YouTube channel.
      Or as an alternative, the draw will be broadcasted on the UEFA’S official website.
      How does the draw work?
      There are eight teams who have gone straight through to the last-16 of the Europa League.
      They are Arsenal, Fenerbahce, Real Betis, Union Saint-Gilloise, Real Sociedad, Feyenoord, SC Freiburg and Ferencvaros.
      Those eight teams will be drawn to play the winners of ties played between teams who finished second in their Europa League group and third in their Champions League group.
      PSV, Rennes, Roma, Union Berlin, Manchester United, Midtjylland, Nantes and Monaco all finished second in their Europa League groups.
      Barcelona, Ajax, Sevilla, Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Salzburg, Shakhtar Donetsk, Sporting Lisbon finished third in their Champions League groups.
      Those 16 teams will enter a knockout round play-off draw, with the winners of those ties facing the teams already in the last-16 on March 9 & 16 2023.
      The knockout round play-off ties will commence on February 16 & 23.

      In the knockout round play-off, the eight teams who finished second in their Europa League groups will play the eight teams who finished third in their Champions League groups.
      And the winners will go on to the Europa League last 16, with the ties to be played over two legs.

      Let’s just say United’s final result against Sociedad has made things harder for them.
      Ten Hag’s men now have the unenviable task of having to play Champions League-quality sides for a place in the last-16 of Europe’s secondary competition.
