Why is Ellyes Skhiri wearing a mask at the 2022 World Cup?
So far this tournament, we have seen Son Heung-Min take to the field for South Korea in a mask.
And the reason for this is similar to that of Skhiri, with both players suffering injuries.
    Most read in Football
Skihiri suffered a broken cheekbone in late October but would not let this ruin his World Cup dream.
The midfielder returned a week later wearing a mask as he was determined to play at the World Cup for his country, who are looking to make it out of the group stages for the first time in their history.
Wearing a mask will protect his cheekbone as it recovers, ensuring that it cannot be further damaged during his time on the pitch. More

But now he’s facing a step up in competition against South African Lerena.
Dubois is on the hunt for more titles and is set to be installed as a mandatory challenger for WBA ‘Super’ champ Oleksandr Usyk.
The 25-year-old has also previously been in discussions with Dillian Whyte about an all-British heavyweight clash.
That fight could still happen in the future, following Whyte’s majority decision win over Jermaine Franklin.

How to watch Dubois vs Lerena
Dubois’ clash with Lerena will be shown live on BT Sport Box Office in the UK.
The fight is the co-main event to Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora.
And the event will cost £26.95 to watch.
You can live stream the action from the BT Sport Box Office app, which is available for download onto your mobile or tablet device.
Coverage of the event will get underway from 7pm UK time.
Dubois and Lerena are expected to make their ring-walks around 9pm GMT.
    Most read in SPORT
    What has been said?
“I’m looking to go to the big league and progress from this fight,” Dubois said.
“I want to lay my mark down on this division and what ever [Lerena] brings I’m going to have to deal with it.
“If they want it, Usyk or Tyson, either one of them, I don’t mind who, Anthony Joshua and whoever, these are the fights I want. Having the WBA ‘regular’ title puts me right up there at the front of the queue. I’m No 1 ranked with the WBA, I’m doing it the right way.
“I just need to perform now, I’ve been out the ring a while, I need to get my career moving again.” More

The Manchester United forward got on his knees and pointed to the sky with both hands after he was done revelling in the moment with his team-mates.
Rashford explained after the game that the goal was dedicated to his late friend Garfield Hayward, who passed away after a battle with cancer just days ago.

Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora 3: Date, UK start time, live stream, TV channel, price for heavyweight fight THIS WEEKEND

TYSON FURY makes his big return to boxing when he faces Derek Chisora on SATURDAY. The Gypsy King hasn’t been in the ring since his sixth-round TKO destruction of Dillian Whyte back in April at a sold out Wembley Stadium.
    How the fighters compare
Derek Chisora will face Tyson Fury for the THIRD time in his career
A whopping 94,000 fans, a British record, filled the England football team’s national stadium that night to watch Fury defend his WBC heavyweight crown before announcing his retirement in the ring after.
His retirement didn’t last long, however, as toward the end of the summer he called out Anthony Joshua for a massive money-spinning clash.
Talks failed to materialise, however, and now Fury is on the precipice of finalising a deal to fight Chisora, who beat Kubrat Pulev in exciting fashion in July.
Chisora has clashed with Fury twice before, though, losing the first on points before being stopped in their 2014 sequel.
And now, the two British heavyweights are set to fight for a third time in the most expensive showing on BT Sport Box Office EVER.
Tyson Fury takes on Derek Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
When is Fury vs Chisora 3?

Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora is on this Saturday, December 3.
The fight is set to take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The last fight to be held there was Anthony Joshua’s first fight with Oleksandr Usyk last year.
Ring-walks have been confirmed to be taking place at 9pm UK time.

What TV channel will it be on and can it be live streamed?

Fury vs Chisora 3 will be shown live on BT Sport Box Office in the UK.
BT Sport Box Office is available for live streaming from their dedicated app, which can be downloaded onto your mobile or tablet device.
    The event will cost £26.95.

    Fury vs Chisora card
The full undercard has yet to be announced for Fury vs Chisora 3.
But it’s been confirmed that Daniel Dubois will be in action in the co-main event slot, as he takes on Kevin Lerena, defending his WBA heavyweight ‘Regular’ title in the process.

    What has been said?
Fury: “I’m not gonna sit here and call Chisora names. I respect him. I’ve got nothing bad to say about Derek; he’s a good fighting man, and he brings his A game every time.
“[But] In my reign right now, I’m reigning supreme. I’ll beat him, and then I’ll beat the little middleweight guy [Usyk].
“He says he’s gonna knock me out, I wanna see him do it. If he does, I’ll be the first to congratulate him.”
Chisora: “I’m a black belt in crazy! The mindset is unbelievable right now, it’s crazy.
“It’s gonna be toe to toe. I have to knock him out, I’m gonna drop him, yeah.
“I’ll beat him. I’m gonna knock him out, I’m gonna stop him, 100 per cent.”
Promoter Frank Warren said: “Tyson wanted to fight in his home country again this year following his special night at Wembley Stadium in April.
“This brings us to the magnificent Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and a match against an old rival in Derek Chisora.
    Read More on The Sun
“Derek, also a big favourite with British fans, has reinvented himself in recent years and Tyson has long stated his wish to fight him for a third time.
“Tyson can’t afford any slip-up in this fight as he has the much-publicised undisputed match-up with Usyk in the New Year which we’re really looking forward to.” More

Who is Poland vs Argentina referee Danny Makkelie at World Cup 2022?

OFFICIAL Danny Makkelie is back on the world stage and is seen as one of the best referees on the planet. He takes charge of Argentina’s massive group stage against Poland at the World Cup, days after he was in charge of Spain’s 1-1 draw with Germany.
Danny Makkelie was in charge during England’s Euro 2020 semi-final against Denmark when he awarded a controversial penaltyCredit: PA
The Dutchman, a former policeman, was in charge for England’s Euro 2020 semi-final between England and Denmark.
He was also the ref for Finland’s defeat to Russia in the group stages.Has he officiated at major tournaments before?
A former police inspector, Makkelie will accept no messing about in the Wembley match-up.
He was first listed as a FIFA referee in 2011 and at 38 years old, still has plenty of seasons under his belt.
Before this tournament, Makkelie was the referee for the 2020 Europa League final between Sevilla and Inter Milan, but this is his first major international tournament in the middle.
What else has he done so far?
Makkelie made his Eredivise debut in 2009 and has gone on to make over 180 appearances across nine seasons.
He took charge of five Champions League fixtures in 2019, including the quarter-final first leg when Barcelona beat AS Roma 4-1.
The Dutchman was blasted by the Italians’ boss Eusebio di Francesco for denying them a penalty in that game, but it proved irrelevant as Roma heroically won the second leg 3-0 to progress on away goals.
Makkelie has also been involved in the Europe League, officiating 11 matches from 2012 to 2017.
    Most read in sport
    Has he used VAR before?
The Dutchman has been involved in two major controversies with the VAR system.
Makkelie became the first referee to send-off a player using the technology after he changed his yellow-card decision to a sending off against Willem II’s Anouar Kalu in a KNVB Cup game in 2016.
He was also involved in one of the most famous and controversial usages of VAR when he took charge of the Dutch Super Cup final between Feyenoord and Vitesse.
During that match, Feyenoord saw a goal disallowed and a penalty awarded to Vitesse instead after a VAR review showed Makkelie should have given the spot kick before the goal was scored.
