What is Phil Foden’s haircut called?
Phil Foden’s haircut is known as the Gazza-style haircut.
The 22-year-old bleached his hair blonde to imitate Paul Gascoigne’s hair in the Euro 96, which saw England make it all the way to the semi-finals.
Gascoigne was a remarkable figure in that EUROs campaign and Foden hoped that he can repeat history by bringing “a bit of Gazza onto the pitch.”
When speaking to the media at St George’s Park, Foden said: “First of all I’ve had the same haircut for what seems ages now, so I thought I would try something new.

“And then I woke up this morning with a lot of comparisons to Gazza and Eminem.
“So, yeah, it was my own thing and people turned it into something else.
“But they’ve said that they liked it so it’s a positive thing, which I’m surprised about.
“I remember watching highlights on the TV of Gazza. He was an unbelievable player.

“I know what he means for the country and what he did so it wouldn’t be too bad if I tried to bring a bit of Gazza on the pitch.”
Gascoigne was around the same age as Foden when his breakthrough came on the international scene for England.
Both players have the same position of an attacking midfielder and this made space for even more comparisons.
England made it all the way to the finals in Wembley in the 2020 EUROs – the first time in 55 years and the first-ever European final.
Unfortunately, they suffered a hard-fought loss to Italy which saw the English dream break down very quickly.
How to ask your barber for the Phil Foden Haircut?
The best way to ask your barber to get you the Phil Foden Gazza-style haircut is to show him a picture.
You’ll find many pictures online and on Foden’s social media channels of him showing off his historic haircut.
    Who Is Phil Foden’s barber?
Phil Foden’s barber is Sheldon Edwards.
Edwards travels with the England team most of the time when they are competing in an international tournament.
He helps them upkeep their looks and hair cuts to feel fresh when they go out onto the pitch.
England boss Gareth Southgate met Edwards before and admitted that he is happy to have him on board, as he is not a distraction to the players at all.
England are not the only team that make use of the barber’s talents while in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup.

Referee Jorge Larrionda from Uruguay kicked off the match and Ronaldo suffered a yellow card on his debut in the 26th minute.

In Brazil four years later, Ronaldo didn’t have the best World Cup because of an injury he picked up before the tournament.
Despite his late winning goal against Ghana in the final group match, they still hadn’t earned enough points to progress and went home early.
Then came the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
At the time, Portugal were European Champions, having beaten France on their own turf in the EUROs final in 2016.
In the first match against Spain, Ronaldo became the oldest player to score a hat-trick in World Cup history.

Why do people call Tyson Fury Luke?

TYSON FURY has one of the meanest sounding names in world boxing today, and he’s also one of the best fighters in the sport. Fury has ignited rivalries with fellow Brits Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte in recent years, and both have used the same piece of information against him in verbal sparring.

Fury vs Chisora 3: Date, live stream and TV info for huge heavyweight bout
Joshua and Whyte have called Fury ‘Luke’, with boxing fans now cottoning on to the mutual jibe.
Ahead of Fury’s clash with Derek Chisora this weekend, the nickname is bound to rear its head once again.
Exclusive radio coverage is available on talkSPORT with coverage starting at 7.30pm.
Why do people call Tyson Fury ‘Luke’?
Well, both Joshua and Whyte believe Fury’s actual first name to be Luke.
Luke is actually Fury’s middle name, as listed on Companies House, Boxrec and Wikipedia.
But Whyte thinks otherwise, as he told SunSport in an exclusive interview last year.
    Most read in Boxing
“My real name is Dillian. I know his real name is Luke,” Whyte told SunSport last year. “He changed it to Tyson to make himself sound harder.
“People can have a little look around on the internet and see for themselves.
“In boxing, the name Tyson is a lot more sellable than Luke.
“A lot of what Tyson does and says is a game, you can never take anything he says seriously or at face value.
“He might say he wants to fight me sometimes but how can you trust a man who doesn’t even use his own name?”
If there was an arbitration going on, why announce to the world we are fighting! The fight was signed! UNDISPUTED 💥Bare knuckle? You’re a good kid, don’t play with me Luke! I’ll slap your bald head & you’ll do nothing! Waste man. https://t.co/d9PLjAesj6— Anthony Joshua (@anthonyjoshua) May 19, 2021

Joshua then went ahead and used the same jab against Fury on Twitter last year when the pair went back and forth over their fallen-through heavyweight showdown.
“If there was an arbitration going on, why announce to the world we are fighting!” he wrote.
“The fight was signed! UNDISPUTED. Bare knuckle? You’re a good kid, don’t play with me Luke! I’ll slap your bald head & you’ll do nothing! Waste man.”

What happened to Netherlands star Daley Blind, and does the ex-Man Utd player wear a pacemaker?

DALEY BLIND has been in fabulous form for the Netherlands at the World Cup. Louis van Gaal’s side topped their group with seven points, beating Senegal, drawing with Ecuador and winning their clash against Qatar.

And now they’re in action against the USA in the last-16 of the competition, with a place in the quarter-final up for grabs.
Ex-Manchester United star Blind got himself on the scoresheet with a fine finish after a sweeping move, making it 2-0 to the Dutch.
Blind, who plays for Ajax again, has been instrumental for Netherlands so far.
But it hasn’t been all plane sailing since he left Old Trafford in 2018.
What happened to Daley Blind’s heart?
Blind was playing for Ajax in 2019 against Valencia in the Champions League when he complained he was suffering of dizziness.
AFter the game, Blind was taken for a medical examination and he was diagnosed with a heart muscle inflammation.
Blind continued to play after his diagnosis, but in 2020 he collapsed in a pre-season friendly against Hertha Berlin.
The left-back was fitted with a pacemaker soon after and is back playing at his best for both Ajax and the Netherlands.
His former team-mate at Ajax Christian Eriksen collapsed Denmark’s Euro 2020 clash against Finaland last year.
    Most read in Sport
And Blind recalled the incident having a massive impact on him.
“[Saturday] had a huge impact on me, never mind the fact that I know Christian well as a friend,” Blind said.
“The situation for him is terrible. Of course, I have also experienced a few things in that area, so that I had to overcome a mental hurdle to play.
“I had to persuade myself to play but I’m proud that I did and that’s why my emotion came bursting out at the end of the game.
“I definitely thought about not taking part. The images on television and the incident had a big impact and I didn’t sleep very well because of them. I really had to overcome a big hurdle to do this.
“If it didn’t go well, it would have haunted my head even more.
“When Christian encouraged his own team-mates to play is when I decided to play myself. Also because I’m safe, according to the doctors.” More
