      Why is Robert Lewandowski’s grandmother trending?
      To be clear, no evidence to suggest Robert Lewandowski or his grandmother are related to the late Nazi leader Adolf Hitler has been published.
      However, the rumour appears to have originated from a Quora post in 2017 asking: “Is Robert Lewandowski related to Adolf Hitler?”
      In the post, an image of Robert Lewandowski and Adolf Hitler alongside each other was shared with the caption: “Did you know??!! Robert Lewandowski was the grandson of Hitler’s youngest sister who was called Pawla Hitler who died in who died in 1960”
      A number of people responded with posts on the social media site to rubbish the claims.

      One person posted: “NO, Don’t believe this. The facts in this image are entirely wrong.”
      Another said: “NOPE! There are no living relatives of Hitler as far as we know. However, I know of a person who’s grandfather/great grandfather was Heinrich Himmler. Go search it up!”
      While a third wrote: “Strictly speaking, yes. He’s a distant cousin. So are you, and so am I, and so is every human being on Earth.”
      Which team does Robert Lewandowski play for?
      Robert Lewandowski is a striker from Poland who currently plays for Barcelona in La Liga — the top league in Spain — as well as being the captain for the Poland national team.

      In 2014 Robert joined Bayern Munich, winning the Bundesliga with the German giants EVERY year until the 2021-22 season, winning the Champion’s League in 2020 and picking up a Ballon d’Or and two European Golden Shoes along the way.
      Lewandowski joined FC Barcelona in 2022, where the serial winner sealed both the La Liga title and Pichichi Trophy in his first season, becoming the first player in history to get the top scorer award in Europe’s top five leagues in six consecutive seasons. More

      Maria Manuela Delicado Vega was previously married to former Spanish FA chief and former professional player, Luis Rubiales.
      Maria, who works as a lawyer, split from Rubiales over a decade ago and is known to reside in a small town near Valencia, the Daily Mail reports.
      The pair reportedly remained on good terms following their separation.
      Aside from this information, not much else is known about Rubiales former wife, however, he did address the break up of his marriage in interview with the programme ‘Viajando con Chester’ held earlier this year.

      “This is more a question of not only me. In this situation now it is more intelligent and the thing I had to do.”

      Ingrid Lana is a 33-year-old banker.
      She is the third alleged victim to come forward against Manchester United footballer Antony.
      It comes after the £85million winger issued a statement strongly denying the “false allegations” of assault made by his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin.

      The 33-year-old banker has accused Antony of physical violence in an interview with Record.

      Ingrid alleged: ”He tried having [sexual] relations with me, but pushed me against a wall when I refused, and I hit my head.”

      Rayssa de Freitas, a law student, has also accused the winger of physical attacks, Brazilian outlets Jornal Extra and Record report.
      The student said she required hospital treatment following an incident in May 2022, after she was allegedly attacked by Antony and a woman after they left a Sao Paulo nightclub.
      What has Rayssa de Freitas said about Antony?
      A police report from May 2022 by Rayssa, which has been made public, describes alleged violent behaviour from the footballer and internet personality Mallu Ohana.
      Rayssa describes an alleged incident when she and Mallu – Brazil player Dudu’s ex-wife – got into the backseat of Antony’s Land Rover after a night out in Brazil.
      She claimed Antony was behind the wheel, and his hairdresser Rafa Contes, was also in the car.
      The influencer reportedly told police in Brazil that she ended up falling out with Mallu because she didn’t want to “continue the fun” with the rest of them.
      Rayssa claimed the argument turned violent and she was attacked by Mallu and Antony.
      She alleged she opened the car’s back door and fled after Antony stopped at a traffic light.
      The police report claimed that a motorcyclist driving behind the Land Rover reportedly witnessed the alleged attack, before writing down Antony’s licence plate.
      As soon as Rayssa got out of the car, the motorcyclist claimed Antony sped off to an unknown destination.
      Following this, the law student was hospitalised, the Brazilian newspaper reports.
      Antony strongly denies all allegations against him.
      Sao Paulo Civil Police are investigating the allegations of assault alongside Greater Manchester Police.

      Following the allegations made, Manchester United player Antony issued a statement, as the club confirmed that he would not be returning to train with the squad “until further notice”.
      A statement shared to his Instagram read: ”I have agreed with Manchester United to take a period of absence while I address the allegations made against me.
      “This was a mutual decision to avoid distraction to my teammates and unnecessary controversy for the club.

      What are the allegations against Antony?
      Antony faces allegations of domestic abuse from three women – one of which was made by his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin. 
      Cavallin accused the winger of physical aggression towards her on a number of occasions in bombshell claims.
      It has been reported in Brazil that Gabriela has told police that Antony assaulted her four times.
      She has shared pictures showing her bloodied clothes, sliced fingers, and a head wound which were allegedly the aftermath of his actions.

      She previously alleged she was first attacked in June 2022 while pregnant and on holiday in Brazil.
      She claimed in January 2023, Antony headbutted and punched her in a Manchester hotel, damaging a breast implant.
      And in May 2023, she claimed he threw a glass at her, injuring her finger.
      On September 9, 2023, model Cavallin urged Old Trafford bosses to ban him from playing while police investigate claims he assaulted her.

      Two more women have made similar claims against the footballer.
      Law student Rayssa de Freitas said she needed hospital treatment following an incident in May 2022, after she was allegedly attacked by Antony and a woman in his Land Rover after they left a Sao Paulo nightclub.
      Ingrid Lana, a 33-year-old banker, has alleged in an interview in Brazil that Antony was sexually aggressive towards her while on a business trip to England in October.
      Antony strongly denies all allegations against him.
      He is currently being investigated by police in both Manchester and Sao Paulo – and was axed from the Brazil national team for their World Cup qualifiers this month.
      What has Antony said in response to the allegations?
      On September 10, 2023, Antony issued a full statement as he confirmed he would not be returning to train with Manchester United ”until further notice”.
      He has been given a leave of absence by the club amid the allegations.
      In a statement released on his Instagram, Antony said: “I have agreed with Manchester United to take a period of absence while I address the allegations made against me.
