PAUL Gascoigne dived into a restaurant fish tank in his best suit to grab a lobster — after getting tired of waiting for one to be served.The former England ace, 54, claimed he then stunned other diners by tucking into the crustacean while still wearing his dripping wet suit.

He said: “I went to a posh restaurant and ordered lobster because I’d seen they had a massive lobster tank.
“I pointed to the one I wanted but they were taking so long I thought ‘What are they doing? I’ll just get it myself.’
“So I dived into the tank in my best suit.”
The former footballer said he was playing for Lazio in Italy in the 1990s when he visited the restaurant in Rome.
He added: “It took me a while swimming around to catch the one I fancied. When I finally did I hooked it out. Then I ate it in my dripping wet suit.”
Gazza also played for Tottenham, Newcastle, Everton, Middlesbrough and Rangers and was famous for his pranks with fish and animals.

He hid dead fish in teammates’ cars at Newcastle and Rangers until the smell became unbearable.
Gazza also once turned up to Spurs training with an ostrich and kidnapped a swan from a golf course in Scotland.
And when he played in Italy he caught a 2ft snake at his villa and put it in a team-mate’s jacket pocket.

DAVID Beckham fist-bumps a cop after being quizzed about his kids jet-skiing on holiday.Witnesses said grinning Becks, 46, had spent 45 minutes on his yacht chatting to officers — who even asked him for a selfie.

The ex-England captain was moored off the Amalfi coast, Italy, when a police boat pulled up.
Son Cruz, 16 — sporting dyed pink hair — had earlier been jet-skiing, with sister Harper, ten, joining him later.
A witness said: “The kids are quite young. You are meant to be 18 to jet-ski in Italy.”
And added: “Cruz and Harper had just started jet-skiing, and five minutes later the police boat arrived.
“David was sun-bathing and he immediately left the deck and went downstairs to deal with it.
“Both Cruz and Harper were wearing life-jackets and staying very near the yacht so it is hard to see what the problem was.
“David seemed to call to them to come back to the yacht, and they anchored the jet-ski.
“The questioning by the police went on for about 45 minutes although it all looked quite amicable.
“At one point, they asked for documents which David showed them.
“During the questioning the police recognised David and seemed to chat to him.
“They even asked him for a selfie.
“Then, at the end, David leant over for a friendly fist-bump and the police sped away.
“The Guardia Finanza usually deal with drug and people smuggling so I am sure they had better things to do.”

The drama on Friday came after the Beckham family – who had been isolating at their £6million Cotswolds home – jetted to Italy last week.
David and wife Victoria, 45, were joined by son Brooklyn, 22 – accompanied by his US actress fiancée Nicola Peltz, 26 – and son Romeo, 18, as well as Cruz and Harper.
It is thought Brooklyn and stunning Nicola have been eyeing wedding venues in Italy during the trip.

A club source said last night: “Harry and Charlie got the call at the end of last week. 
“Obviously Harry was delighted because he never wanted to leave Spurs, his beloved boyhood club, on bad terms. 
“Daniel Levy is a canny operator though and after Harry’s brilliant efforts and goals at the Euros his value has never been higher. 
“By waiting until now, he has probably put another £20million or so on his price tag. A contract with Man City has not yet been signed but this is Harry’s preference. 
“It is also preferable from Spurs’ viewpoint.
“They do not want to lose him to another London side. 
“Terms have provisionally been agreed, and it’s an incredible deal. It’s now just a case of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.
“Harry is in the pomp of his career, and wants to win trophies. 
“This is a brilliant signing for both parties.”

Harry put in a transfer request earlier this summer.

He started with Ridgeway Rovers in North East London — where it also began for David Beckham — and was part of Arsenal’s academy before moving to Spurs.
Loan spells followed at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City before Harry became a first-team regular.
To get their man, City will smash the Premier League record transfer fee, currently held by Man United’s Paul Pogba at £89million. The transfer would also be a Spurs record — comfortably beating the £86million they got when Gareth Bale left for Real Madrid in 2014.
