He is part of the Todd Boehly consortium, being advised by ex-Chancellor George Osborne.
Jacqueline Long, 70, reported Wyss to the police in Morristown, New Jersey, it was confirmed by the prosecutor’s office.
No charges were brought against him.
The businessman — said to be worth £3.9billion — reached a settlement with her.

Wyss, from Switzerland, is bidding to take over the Blues from disgraced Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich.
The oligarch is selling after being sanctioned by the British Government because of his close ties to Vladimir Putin and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Wyss, who has no history of investment or ownership in the sports industry, said last month he and three others received an offer to buy Chelsea from Abramovich.
He added: “I can well imagine starting at Chelsea with partners.”

Carew, 42, is charged with avoiding paying 5.4million krona (about £500,000) between 2014 and 2019.
He is also accused of failing to declare an income of about £1million in the same period, and of hiding £27million.
In 2020 he listed his income as £725,000 with a tax liability of £210,000 and £6.3million savings.
Carew was declared bankrupt by the High Court in England in 2012, and left football ten years ago to work in film and TV.

The maniac gave Maguire 72 hours to quit Man United after claiming three bombs were planted at his home.
The threat, emailed to the England defender’s agent, said the devices would be detonated if he refused to meet the deadline.
Skipper Maguire, 29, was at the Carrington training ground when the terrifying message was delivered on Wednesday, a day after United lost 4-0 to Liverpool.

A source said: “This was taken very seriously.
“Harry and his teammates regularly receive death threats on social media but this was different.
“The email said three bombs had been planted at his home.
“He had 72 hours to leave United or they’d be detonated. It was dripping with hatred and abuse.”
The source added: “Fern was hysterical.
“She doesn’t feel safe anymore.
“She’s had enough of the abuse Harry gets.
“It’s relentless, personal and out of order. Enough is enough.
“They’re a close family and Harry has always put them first but at the same time he refuses to give into the hate mob.”
‘COWARDLY FAN’
“The mail is said to be from a “cowardly fan”.
United have been in terrible form with £190,000-a-week Maguire booed on the pitch and abused on Instagram over his performances.
Some online messages have repeated the words: “Get out of my club”.
One read: “Another own goal thanks to Satan himself.”
Maguire is not expected to face Arsenal in today’s Premier League match.
He is getting new CCTV and 24/7 guards.
The source added: “Harry doesn’t want to live like this but at the moment he’s got no choice. He won’t have his family threatened.”
A spokesman for Maguire described the email and its contents as “a serious threat to his family home”, adding: “He has reported this to the police.

You have to be respectful and professional. Predominantly, it is just about listening.
On this occasion, it wasn’t a conversation to start with. It was more of a shouting match.

All fans want to do is let off some steam. But when you are going through bad times you are expected to answer every question and tell them how it will all be fixed within a week.
I watched a similar situation with Cesar Azpilicueta and the Chelsea fans after their defeat to Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea fans were probably just fed up with that one game and how they expected their side to beat a young and less-expensive Arsenal team.
But I can understand why Azpilicueta was having a go back at them.

Players think, ‘Hold on, when we were winning a few weeks ago, things weren’t that bad and you weren’t calling us names and now, because we are on a bad run, you are turning on us?’.
That is probably why Azpilicueta responded the way he did.
It was more frustration that Chelsea haven’t had an awful season and now their integrity is being questioned.
Fans doubt your work rate and desire — but they only see match day.
They don’t see if you are playing with injuries or things of that nature. That can be frustrating.
It is a tough situation but certain characters — like Azpilicueta and myself — we handle it a bit differently to most, let’s put it that way.
However, unlike at Chelsea, this is not a one-off thing at Birmingham. The fans have been frustrated for years. They are fed up.
But, while I may share certain frustrations, I definitely can’t take away all of their problems with the click of my fingers.

If I could, then I would. It would make me enjoy my time here more.
Yet there are some things you just cannot answer for. Fans may ask, ‘Why isn’t a certain player playing? Why are we playing a certain formation?’.
All that stuff is well above my pay-grade.
All you can do is listen and say, ‘I hear your points. I will pass them on’.
I was just trying to set things at ease. My missus showed me a video of that moment on TikTok, where someone has edited it as if they were shouting at me.
They weren’t, they were just talking to me.
But naturally, you are outside, so they are all trying to be heard and speaking louder than they should do — and from there it looks weird.
But they cut the video short when I asked the guy to turn the camera off and have a conversation.

In this world we live in, everything turns into a meme and gets shown out of context.
In my haste to make sure I wasn’t a meme or on TikTok, I did the opposite.
I don’t think the purpose of what I did is about making sure the fans go home feeling better.
They just want to feel heard, wanting to feel they are not just typing on Twitter and being accused of moaning.
Now, they will feel they have got somebody in the club who has more influence than them and can relay the message. That is absolutely fine.
But I certainly didn’t enjoy it and I wouldn’t recommend doing it all the time.
Is it the way forward, for players to have that interaction with fans on the pitch where they just have to listen? I don’t think so.
You have tens of thousands of people who all have very different opinions.
Hearing that up close and personal on a regular basis could leave you in a bad way.
Understandably, fans don’t always have the knowledge of what’s truly going on inside the club.
Through bad times, the connection with the fans always helps — but it doesn’t solve the problem.
And it can even make it worse, as some fans feel like they are entitled to have an opinion on everything. More

Frimpong then stated that he isn’t surprised that he took up a life in management after hanging up his boots in 2016.
He added: “No surprise, no surprise at all, he was the type of person that you knew would be a manager because he never stopped talking and never stopped learning.
“I remember we used to call him Wenger’s son because every time we used to go out on the training ground, he’d be there talking, asking Wenger questions.
“He was somebody that was never afraid to ask questions, it’s no surprise he’s become a manager to be honest.”
Frimpong has also urged Arteta to break the bank and bring West Ham star Declan Rice to the Emirates this summer.
And he also thinks that Arsenal could challenge for the Premier League title within the next five years under Arteta’s tutelage.
He remarked: “A lot can happen in the five years, when [Jurgen] Klopp came to Liverpool nobody was thinking they could win the Champions League as soon as they won it.
“Sometimes, you can get the right manager but if the board is not backing you, it becomes incredibly difficult.
“Arteta got the board to back him, they bought some quality players and this next transfer window they need to go the extra mile again, bringing even more players as the squad is thin.

FORMER Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has urged the club to break the bank and bring West Ham star Declan Rice to the Emirates.Boss Mikel Arteta is known to be interested in signing another central midfielder in what is set to be another busy summer in North London.

The Gunners are set to lose a number of players in that area in the summer, with Mohamed Elneny poised to become a free agent.

Asked who he would want to be brought in during the upcoming window, Frimpong, who came through the Arsenal academy before making 16 first team appearances, stated Rice is his No1 choice.
The ex-Ghana international believes the former Chelsea academy man could form a formidable partnership with Thomas Partey in the middle of the pitch.
Speaking exclusively to SunSport via BoyleXtra, Frimpong said: “I would like to have Declan Rice.

“A midfield of him and Partey would be a very strong midfield partnership. I’d also like another left-back to compete with [Kieran] Tierney.
“I feel like we’re really struggling in that department at the moment.
“I’d also want us to sign a striker – there aren’t any that come to mind that are realistic signings at the minute, but that’s one position we really need to strengthen.”
Despite being tied down at the London Stadium until 2024, Rice is facing an uncertain future at West Ham.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the 23-year-old has rejected a third contract offer ahead of a possible summer move away.
Frimpong is also of the opinion that Arsenal could challenge for the Premier League within the next five years should they invest in the team.
