And Sagna has spoken of his disbelief at the crucial calls made by match official Tierney.

“Ultimately it’s a shame, it was a really important game for Arsenal and by making such a big decision, the referee changed the outcome of the game.
“For me it wasn’t a penalty, and it wasn’t a red card for Rob Holding either.
“It’s crazy how other players and teams can get away with bad tackles and even worse behaviour and then you see a player being booked so easily at Arsenal?
“It’s silly as for a game of such importance, the referee doesn’t have to rush into decisions, he should take his time, reflect on the situation and call the player over and give a warning.
“There is a process and I have a feeling the pressure of the game got to him and impacted decision making.”

But Sagna isn’t worried about a potential end of season capitulation, insisting that it has been a positive campaign regardless.

They called Tahith by his nickname ‘Chongy’ and were demanding to know where his watches were. He was saying he didn’t keep his watches at the house.
“The blokes were terrifying and there was one in particular who was about 6ft 4ins who was menacing and seemed like the leader.
“They were continually threatening us, saying if they found watches and we were lying they’d chop us up.
“They took our phones off us, then they took my second-hand Rolex, which was worth £3,000, plus my Louis Vuitton bag.”

Chong’s teammates Paul Pogba, 29, Victor Lindelof, 27, and Jesse Lingard, 29, all had their homes raided in December and January.
The gang left Chong’s house in Sale, Gtr Manchester, after around 40 minutes and he hit a panic alarm.
Police arrived in minutes, but have made no arrests.
Rianna added: “I have not had a proper night’s sleep since and cannot sleep with the light off. I have been diagnosed with PTSD.”

FOOTBALL star Phil Foden has splashed out on a stunning home — a stone’s throw from Wayne Rooney’s old house.The Manchester City ace paid £2.85million for the five-bedroom property in upmarket Prestbury, Cheshire, in July.

Foden, 21, previously lived with his parents in another £2.8million, five-bedroom home just three minutes’ drive away from his new place.
The village has long been a favourite with footballers and other stars — and Rooney lived there before moving to a £20million mega-mansion a few miles away.
A source said: “Phil loves living in Cheshire but felt it was time to fly the nest now he has two young children with his partner, Rebecca.
“It’s in his old neighbourhood so they feel very settled in already.”

THE shirt worn by Diego Maradona when he scored his Hand of God goal sold for £7.1million this week — but Peter Shilton, the goalie he cheated, says he wouldn’t even use it to clean his dishes.England skipper Shilts, 72, said he’d have “ripped it into a thousand pieces” had he known it was in the dressing room after the 1986 World Cup quarter-final defeat.

Maradona leapt up and punched the ball past Shilton in the 51st minute.
He then scored one of the greatest goals, beating five England players on the way, to send Argentina to a 2-1 win.
The shirt’s seller, midfielder Steve Hodge, 59, did not tell his team-mates he had swapped tops with the Argentine legend at the end of the match.
Shilts told The Sun: “I wouldn’t have swapped with Maradona for all the tea in China for what happened on the day.
