JOSE Mourinho faces a massive Uefa ban after a car park ambush of ref Anthony Taylor in the aftermath of Roma’s Europa League Final defeat to Sevilla.Former Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs boss Mourinho screamed at Taylor that he was a “f***ing disgrace” in the clash.

He also accused Uefa refs’ chief Roberto Rosetti of being complicit in what he felt was a stitch-up against his side.
And with Taylor expected to mention the clash – which was captured in a video that went viral on social media and global websites – in his official report, Mourinho is set to be hauled over the coals by Nyon disciplinary chiefs.
The Portuguese was already likely to be in hot water after his comments in the post-match press conference in which he implicitly accused Taylor and his colleagues of being biased as he said they “seemed Spanish”.
Those comments were already expected to be included in the official Uefa match delegate’s report and were likely to see a short ban.

But the subsequent clash, sparked when Mourinho, standing outside the Roma team coach, saw Taylor, fourth official Michael Oliver and the rest of the officiating team heading for their getaway mini-bus, will bring a major inquiry.
As soon as he saw them, Mourinho kicked off, berating: “What a disgrace. What a disgrace. You are a f***ing disgrace! You are shameless.”

At that point, Rosetti tried to intervene and calm Mourinho down by hugging him, only to cop an earful himself.

Having sidestepped Rosetti, Mourinho marched towards the mini-bus with a further spate of invective, in both English and Italian, as well as the Portuguese slang for “whore”.
The fusillade went on for nearly a minute before the mini-bus containing the officials moved off, with Mourinho still shouting at the vehicle as it departed.
Taylor has to file his official report today and it is expected to include the facts of the car park ruck, which will add to the likely charges, especially as there is clear video evidence.
And that is set to land Mourinho with a ban that could impact on his job for next season.
The “Special One” is heavy favourite to replace Christophe Galtier at PSG, with the French champions desperate to finally land the Champions League.
But a five or six-match ban would effectively wipe Mourinho out of any match-day involvement in the group stage next season, a potential game-changer.
Declan Rice missed the first two games of West Ham’s Conference League campaign this season after angrily accusing Spanish ref Jesus Gil Manzano of “corruption” in a tunnel clash after last season’s Europa League semi-final defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt.
Mourinho has a long history of clashes with officials, including serving a two-match ban for accusing Swede Anders Frisk of allowing Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard into his dressing room at half-time during a contentious Champions League game against Chelsea in 2005.
But publicly accusing Taylor of bias and then confronting him so angrily is certain to land Mourinho with at least one and probably two charges, with a significant penalty certain to follow.
A fired-up and furious Mourinho hinted the ill-fated final could be his last.
He said: “I can’t say I will be here next season. I will go on holiday on Monday, then we will speak.

SERIAL winner Jose Mourinho did not enjoy the Europa League final at all – but did make one Roma fan’s day despite the disappointment. Roma opened the scoring through Paulo Dybala in the first half before an own goal from Gianluca Mancini took the game to penalties, where Sevilla won 4-1.

The result saw Mourinho’s 100 per cent record in European finals crash and burn at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.
Following the trophy ceremony, Mourinho threw away his runner-up medal.
The Portuguese tactician chucked the medal into the crowd to one young fan, who was pictured smiling with the medal afterwards.
However, while this was happening, Mourinho was on the warpath.

The 60-year-old confronted referee Anthony Taylor in the stadium’s car park after the game, labelling him a “f***king disgrace” for what he deemed to be a performance that “seemed Spanish”.
Following the game, Mourinho said: “Next year we won’t be playing the Champions League and that’s a good thing because we’re not made for it.
“And let’s hope that Taylor, only officiates games in the Champions League and does the same bull**** there that he did tonight, and not in the Europa League.”
He also fumed about the lack of a second yellow for his former player Erik Lamela, adding: “It was an intense, vibrant game with a referee who seemed Spanish.

“It was yellow (on Lamela), yellow, yellow all the time. The injustice is shown by the fact Lamela should’ve had a second yellow, he didn’t, and he converted a penalty in the shoot-out.”
Mourinho also needed to be held back on the touchline in the closing stages of extra time after a negative reaction from Sevilla’s bench to Nemanja Matic falling to the floor stirred up the Roma boss.
Following the final defeat, his overall record now stands at 18 wins from 22 finals, still giving him a mighty 82 per cent win rate.
The former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham boss also appeared to hint he may leave Roma at the end of the season.
Speaking on his future, he said: “I am going on vacation on Monday. If we have time to talk about it before Monday, we will.
“If not, I will go on vacation and then we’ll see. I have to fight for these lads and therefore not say objectively that I will remain.
“I am a serious man. I told the owners a few months ago that if I had some contact with other clubs, they would be the first to know. I would always be honest and direct.
“I spoke to the club in December when I had that approach from the Portuguese national team.

But Mourinho, 60, was incandescent as he saw his perfect record in European finals come to an end.
A raging Mourinho needed to be held back on the touchline moments before the final whistle after Nemanja Matic falling to the floor fired up Sevilla’s bench, which in turn stirred Mourinho.

And following a 4-1 defeat in the shootout, which saw Roma players miss twice, the passionate Portuguese did not hold back against Taylor in the car park.

Mourinho then approached the mini-bus taking the ref away from the stadium, where he said: “Congratulations, f***king disgrace.”
He now faces a massive Uefa ban for his rant.

He famously headed down to the Camp Nou car park to confront the ref following Real Madrid’s Spanish Cup defeat to Barcelona in 2012.
The Roma boss’ fury was echoed by his players, with on-loan Leeds defender Diego Llorente blasting: “Today in all the dubious episodes, the yellow cards, the referee blew the whistle in favour of Sevilla.
“I am surprised because he is an international referee who has a great reputation.”
Mourinho, who has been in charge of the Giallorossi since July 2021, revealed he is yet to make a decision on his future.
He said: “I am going on vacation on Monday. If we have time to talk about it before Monday, we will.
“If not, I will go on vacation and then we’ll see. I have to fight for these lads and therefore not say objectively that I will remain.

The Special One saw his epic unbeaten run in major continental finals come to an end on Wednesday.
Roma and Sevilla were unable to be separated after a tense 120 minutes.
But the Italians fluffed their lines as they missed two penalties in the shootout, handing Sevilla a 4-1 win.
And moments before the whistle blew for spot-kicks, Mourinho erupted on the touchline.

Roma midfielder Nemanja Matic went to ground with exhaustion in the Budapest heat.
And it appeared to cause a furious reaction from Sevilla’s bench.
But this in turn wound Mourinho up to his top level, with the Special One launching himself at Sevilla’s staff in a full-blooded tirade.
The Portuguese tactician had to be restrained by Roma’s sub goalkeeper Mile Svilar.

And ref Anthony Taylor waded in to break things up before handing out a yellow card to Mourinho.
But things ended peacefully as the Special One ended up embracing Sevilla sub Joan Jordan, with the two then clasping hands before walking away.
Even so, Mourinho cut a distraught figure as Roma suffered a heartbreaking penalty defeat.
The Special One appeared to throw his runners-up medal into the crowd before making a swift exit as his players collected their own prizes.
And Mourinho certainly wasn’t anywhere to be seen as Sevilla lifted their seventh Europa League trophy to cap off a rollercoaster season.
He is now being strongly linked with the PSG job.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho said: “I said we’d come out as winners or dead. We are dead, dead of everything, dead of fatigue. 
“It is an unfair result with events against us… the referee seemed Spanish, yellows everywhere. Lamela should have been sent off.

The Roma boss stormed up and down the touchline, clashed with the other bench and gave ref Anthony Taylor hell amidst a battle in Budapest.
Paulo Dybala, who Mourinho had started despite saying he could only manage 15 minutes, grabbed a fine first half opener before it was cancelled out by a Gianluca Mancini own goal after the break.
Neither side could be separated from there until Gonzalo Montiel struck the winning penalty.
This was a meeting of two immovable European forces. Sevilla, the team that never loses European finals, against Mourinho, the manager who never loses them.

Sevilla had won this tournament each of the six times they have reached the final, Mourinho was undefeated in five European finals. Something had to give.
And it was the Giallorossi who carved the first opening, where Leonardo Spinazzola should have buried his effort from Zeki Celik but sent it straight at the keeper.
Everyone had expected Mourinho’s men to sit back, but they were on top and not just on the pitch.
The Romans well outnumbered the Spanish supporters inside the Puskas Arena and had the firemen working overtime ahead of kick-off as flares rained down from the stands.

Mourinho was keeping his cool, though it would not last too long.
When Dybala rolled the opener past Yassine Buonou, the Portuguese grimaced and waved his players back as delirious substitutes and staff raced to celebrate.
Sevilla staff and players were quite rightly enraged, feeling Bryan Cristante had fouled Ivan Rakitic, opening up space for Mancini to setup Dybala with the perfect pass.
Mourinho knew there was a long way to go, but with a one-goal lead to protect he was in comfortable territory.
A Mourinho team had not conceded a goal in a European final since 2003, though Sevilla have their own impressive history to fall back on.

Ten minutes after the restart, with Rakitic having hit the post before the break, Mourinho’s 20-year record was undone by one of his own players.
Rakitic, Sevilla’s conductor, found former Manchester City man Jesus Navas on the right.
The full-back beat his man and swung in a cross which eluded Chris Smalling before being diverted into the net by Mancini.
Mourinho’s master plan was broken, but he was still on classic form.
Taylor did a fine job of keeping his head as Mourinho, his players and staff, who collected a number of bookings, erupted at each and every decision – especially when the ball struck Fernando’s arm in the penalty area.
Mourinho himself was booked, his sixth of the season, in extra time after sparking a huge row between the two benches.

Abraham, who battled until he had to limp off on 75 minutes, almost hooked one home from close range before Roger Ibanez sliced a simple effort wide.
Things turned the defender’s way soon after, with a VAR review overturning Taylor’s decision to award Lucas Ocampos a penalty after he dived under challenge from Ibanez.
It awoke Roma, who came so close to a normal time winner when Bounou tipped Andrea Belotti’s effort around the post.
Roma had been poor since going ahead and could not lift themselves to threaten in extra time as two tired teams limped towards penalties, with Roma players dropping like flies as the clock ticked on forever.
Smalling sent a header onto the top of the bar in the 138th minute, but this was also going to be settled from the spot.
Mancini saw his saved and Ibanez hit the post to hand Sevilla the advantage.
