TIKTOK will sponsor the shirts of Wrexham, the club’s Hollywood owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have announced. The actors took over the National League side in February.

They even invested money into the Welsh side one month before the deal was finalised so the club could spend in the January transfer window.
Now, the celebrity duo have secured a two-year kit sponsorship with social media app TikTok.
McElhenney, creator of sitcom ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’, said: “We are announcing our new front of kit sponsor.”
Deadpool actor Reynolds added: “I wonder who it could be.”
Hairclub, WWE, Laughing Man Coffee Company, Blockbuster, Panam, Philadelphia cheese, Enron, Franken Berry, Mint Mobile, Theranos and De Lorean Motor Company all flash up on screen.
But the video ends with the TikTok logo along with McElhenney and Reynolds’ usernames.
The app, where short videos are created, have been sponsoring the delayed European Championships.

Inside France’s Euro 2020 implosion with stars ‘insulting’ each other on pitch and strikers at war BEFORE tournament

FRANCE’S fallout from their stunning Euro 2020 exit was in the pipeline before being KO’d by Switzerland. French publication L’Equipe has exposed the dramatic disharmony among the group of star-studded names as players argued amongst each other.
Tensions were running high before the tournament with Mbappe and GiroudCredit: Getty
France sensationally crashed out of Euro 2020 to SwitzerlandCredit: AFP
The world champions bottled a 3-1 lead with nine minutes to play against the Swiss before crashing out on penalties.
Star man Kylian Mbappe was the villain having missed the crucial kick.
And it was the Paris Saint-Germain man who was caught in the midst of the controversy surrounding the French team.
Before the tournament even started, Mbappe and Olivier Giroud were involved in a training ground spat – sparked following a friendly against Bulgaria.
Giroud was adjudged to have criticised Mbappe for not picking out his runs with the rapid winger refusing to accept the Chelsea striker’s apology.
It was then claimed that senior France players were fed up with Mbappe’s ‘sulking’ attitude around the Euro camp.
According to French Football News, a number of players were at loggerheads during the Switzerland clash.
They write how Adrien Rabiot was left furious with Paul Pogba’s defensive efforts with the pair ‘insulting each other.’

Pogba’s defending was also criticised by Benjamin Pavard and Raphael Varane.
The fall-out even descended towards the families of the players involving Rabiot’s mother, Veronique.
She reportedly told Mbappe’s father to ‘reframe his son and make him less arrogant’ while also asking Pogba’s family why he lost possession in midfield in the build-up to Switzerland’s goal.
    It doesn’t end there.
The French star’s morale was left damaged by the lack of facilities in their hotels.
Veronique Rabiot reportedly blew a gasket after France’s elimination from Euro 2020

Didier Deschamps’ side have been forced to travel to Munich, Budapest and Bucharest for their games.
They have felt dissatisfied with their accommodation including in Bucharest where they stayed in a Marriott hotel and were unable to open their windows.
Players were also left annoyed with the French Football Federation after they denied a request to see their families, citing Covid protocols.

    MULLER SPEAKS OUT
Thomas Muller has spoken out after Germany’s loss against England in the Round of 16 at Euro 2020.
Muller missed a glorious chance late on to level the game.
The 31-year-old was played through on goal by Havertz, after Sterling’s lazy backpass was intercepted.
But Muller failed to fire the ball past Pickford, who made himself big in between the sticks.
The Bayern star took to Instagram saying: “There it was, that one moment that you will remember in the end, that brings you to sleep at night.
“For whom you work, train and live as a footballer. That moment when you have it in your own hands to bring your team back into a close knockout game and to send an entire football nation into ecstasy.
“Getting this opportunity and then leaving it idle hurts me as hell.
“It hurts for the whole @dfb_team, my teammates and our coach, who all gave me the confidence to be there right then.
“But above all, it hurts because of all the Germany fans out there who stood by us and supported us during this European Championship, despite the difficult omens!
    “Thanks for your support.”

    ‘PARTY POOPER’
Gareth Southgate admitted that he was a party pooper in the dressing room after England’s win over Germany last night.
He said: “I thought it was a brilliant afternoon.
“We’ve talked about bringing enjoyment to the nation and this afternoon was what that’s all about.
“The players were absolutely immense, right the way through the team, and the fans were as well.
“There were only 40,000 but it was as good an atmosphere as I can remember at Wembley.
“But I was the party pooper in the dressing room – I just said that it means nothing if we don’t capitalise on Saturday now.
“We’ve given people another day to remember, and now we’ve got to do it in Rome.”

    CAN’T REWRITE HISTORY
England manager emotionally reacted to his team’s win over rivals Germany in the Round of 16 at Euro 2020.
Southgate admitted that he thought of his old team-mates as soon as the final whistle went.
He said: “I was looking at the big screen and I saw David Seaman up there.
“For the team-mates that played with me, I can’t change that [the penalty miss].
“That is always going to hurt.
“But what is lovely is that we’ve given people another day to remember and now we’ve got to go and do it in Rome.”

Can England fans travel to Rome for the quarter-final?
England fans are allowed to enter Italy, but they won’t be able to watch the game.
That’s because anybody who arrives from the UK to the country, or has been in the UK for the past 14 days, will be ordered to self-isolate for five days.
To get into Italy, you need to take a rapid test in the 48 hours before travelling and a further rapid test after five days to end your self-isolation.
And reports suggest Italian police will intensify checks on motorways and at the country’s borders to stop England fans travelling to the game.

“You read a load of things but as players you put them to the back of your mind but you want to prove people wrong.
“I think today with a full house, everybody had that fire in their belly to go out there and for one, knock Germany out of the tournament and two, for us to progress to the next round.
    “It’s history.
“In the press conferences all week players have been asked about past games with Germany but we’ve created our own little bit of history today.

Central London was packed with boozy fans after the historic win
    GOOD MORNING ENGLAND FANS
England booked their place in the quarter finals of Euro 2020 with a thrilling 2-0 win over Germany.
Goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane sealed the incredible result at Wembley.
It was England’s first knockout win over Germany in 55 years.
And fans partied into the night as they celebrated the historic occasion.
Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions will now travel to Rome for Saturday’s quarter-final tie, which kicks off at 8pm.
And they will face Ukraine, who beat Sweden 2-1 with a dramatic extra-time winner just moments before the game was due to go to a penalty shootout.
Jack Grealish, who starred off the bench, said he ‘loved’ beating Germany.
The Aston Villa captain beamed: “I loved it. It’s always nice when the fans are calling your name but it’s not about me, it’s about the team.
“I came on and just tried to create. I came on and played a part in the first goal and got the assist for the second so I think it was a good performance from myself.”
Meanwhile, goalscorer Sterling exclaimed: “We knew we needed to put a big performance in against a very good German side and I thought we done that today.
“Scoring for your country is always special and it’s definitely a special moment for me.”
And manager Southgate added: “We had to go about it in the way we believed. We wanted aggressive pressure all over the field and we felt that to match them up was the right way of doing that.
“We also defended brilliantly and our goalkeeper was immense. It was a tremendous performance.”

Euro 2020: Fans convinced Jordan Pickford’s red-hot England form is down to his new hair do – and stats back it up

JORDAN PICKFORD is enjoying arguably the biggest comeback of 2021 – with fans certain his new hair is the secret to his success.Early last season, the England goalkeeper, 25, was dropped by Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti with his future – for club and country – very much on the line.
Jordan Pickford has been in incredible form since growing his hair out
Pickford was immense against Germany as he has been all tournament with England into the quartersCredit: Getty
Around Christmas 2020, Pickford knew he was fighting for his place as Three Lions No1 going into 2021, with the Euros on the horizon.
Nick Pope, Dean Henderson, Sam Johnstone and Aaron Ramsdale all enjoyed superb seasons to pile the pressure on the former Sunderland star.
But Pickford showed true grit, determination and focus to bounce back to enjoy arguably the best form of his career.
England have now gone nearly 1,000 minutes since last conceding a goal as they prepare to take on Ukraine in the Euro 2020 quarter-finals.
Pickford has looked commanding between the sticks throughout as Gareth Southgate’s side are still yet to let a goal in at Euro 2020.
The Toffees stopper helped keep England in the last 16 game against Germany with a jaw-dropping, reflex save to deny a Kai Havertz thunderbolt, too.
Pickford looked assured throughout the game as the Three Lions secured their first knockout stage win over Germany at a major tournament since the 1966 World Cup final.
And fans have been quick to notice Pickford’s red-hot run of form has coincided with his new long, luscious locks.

One viewer joked: “Pickford’s cruel 1930s public school prefect hair seems to have given him new authority.”
Another said: “Pickford with hair has to be one of my favourite keepers ever.”
A third added: “Since Pickford grew his hair he’s been brilliant. Arguably England’s best player of the tournament.
“I didn’t think he’d ever get his form back but fair play to the lad, long may it continue.”
Gary Neville was among those to praise Pickford’s revival, tweeting: “My MOM last night was Jordan Pickford and I also think he’s been England’s player of the tournament so far.
“I’ve been critical of him with Everton but with England he’s a different player!”
My MOM last night was Jordan Pickford and I also think he’s been England’s player of the tournament so far . I’ve been critical of him with Everton but with 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 he’s a different player !— Gary Neville (@GNev2) June 30, 2021

The ex-Black Cats stopper appears to have been growing out his formerly super-short hair since the turn of the year.
And the stats seem to suggest Pickford’s form has skyrocketed since showing off his new barnet.
For club and country, Pickford is better in EVERY, single category imaginable since growing his hair – which is all the more remarkable given Everton’s horror slump in the second half of the season.
The Three Lions hero has twice as many clean sheets to his name, conceded fewer goals, made more saves, committed a THIRD of the errors leading to goals and has even slightly improved his passing accuracy since January.
All eyes were on Phil Foden for dying his hair ‘Gazza blonde’ before Euro 2020, with the squad set to follow suit if they lift the trophy at Wembley next month.
But perhaps they should take a leaf out of Pickford’s book and grow their hair out… it could just bring the World Cup home in 2022.

How England looked last time we faced Ukraine in tournament at Euro 2012 with just ONE player featuring in current squad

ENGLAND’S squad for Saturday’s Euro 2020 showdown with Ukraine looks completely different from when the sides met in 2012’s competition. The European rivals have met twice since, once in late 2012 and again in 2013, but both games were World Cup qualifiers.
How England lined up against Ukraine at Euro 2020

Since the teams last Euro encounter a decade ago in the group stages, which the Three Lions won 1-0, only Jordan Henderson remains.
The Liverpool captain, who was 21 at the time, was an unused substitute for the group match in Donetsk, Ukraine.
However he’s the last one standing from the squad assembled by Roy Hodgson.
The Three Lions went with a 4-4-2 formation and were captained by Rangers boss Steven Gerrard for the Group D clash.
Joe Hart played in England’s goal, and he was covered by Ashley Cole, Joloeon Lescott, John Terry and Glen Johnson at the back.
Gerrard was joined by James Milner, Ashley Young and Scott Parker in midfield.
And Wayne Rooney led the attack alongside Danny Welbeck.
Hodgson’s decision to start Rooney following his two-game suspension paid off as the ex-Manchester United ace scored the tie’s only goal.
The Ukrainians dominated the match and the result could’ve been different if their now-manager Andriy Shevchenko had started.

The AC Milan legend entered the foray with only 20 minutes to go but his only impact on the game was a booking for a rash challenge.
His side were catapulted into their first ever Euro quarter finals when they clinched a last-gasp winner against Sweden, winning the last-16 tie 2-1.
England’s route to the next round was simpler as they sailed to a comfortable 2-0 win over arch-nemesis Germany, setting up a mouth-watering clash with the Ukrainians on the weekend.

Best XI of players KO’d from Euro 2020 would be favourites to win with Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe up front

A WHOLE host of star-studded names have already been sent packing from Euro 2020 before the quarter-finals. The so-called ‘Group of Death’ including world champions France, holders Portugal and Germany have all been eliminated.

They joined the likes of Holland and Croatia with their KOs blowing the tournament wide open.
And while football purists may feel aggrieved not to see Europe’s top players on the biggest stage, England won’t be disappointed to see the back of them.
Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane ensured goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and right-back Joshua Kimmich will be heading back to Bayern empty handed.
Belgium’s victory over Portugal also meant Manchester City defender Ruben Dias was on the plane home.
He was joined by Cristiano Ronaldo who couldn’t inspire his side to a dramatic comeback.
The Juventus ace did leave his mark on the tournament, however, and is currently leading the race for the Golden Boot with five.
But the biggest shock of them all was Switzerland’s victory over France.
Les Bleus bottled a 3-1 lead with nine minutes to go before crashing out of the tournament on penalties with Kylian Mbappe missing the crucial kick.

The Paris Saint-Germain ace endured a disastrous tournament having failed to hit the target.
He was joined by French quartet Paul Pogba, N’Golo Kante, Antoine Griezmann and Raphael Varane who made the best XI KO’d from the tournament.
Robert Lewandowski couldn’t inspire Poland past the group stages despite his two goals against Sweden.

But French newspaper L’Equipe gave the 19-year-old just a 4/10 for his performance against GermanyCredit: L’Equipe
Jordan Pickford, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Raheem Sterling and Kalvin Phillips were the only Englishmen to receive a 7/10 from L’Equipe.
Kyle Walker, John Stones and Kieran Trippier all got a 6/10, while Harry Kane and Declan Rice were both given a 5/10.
L’Equipe’s verdict on Saka seems harsh, with SunSport giving him a 6/10 for his efforts.
The Guardian also gave the Arsenal star a 6/10, while Sky Sports thought he deserved a 7/10 for causing the Germans problems in the first half.
And the British public certainly don’t agree with the French newspaper’s opinion, with Saka receiving a 7.04/10 rating in a BBC poll – behind only Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish and Jordan Pickford.
The 19-year-old was superb against Czech Republic in his tournament debut, picking up the Star of the Match award for his efforts.

And Saka can take some solace in L’Equipe’s opinion of Germany’s performance against England.
Defender Mats Hummels was the only player to be given a 6/10, with Thomas Muller and Timo Werner both receiving a 2/10 for being wasteful in front of goal.
L’Equipe are known for their harsh player ratings, with Harry Kane getting just a 4/10 for his performance against Czech Republic.
Perhaps their most brutal assessment of the tournament so far was France’s defeat to Switzerland – giving three French players a 2/10 and Uefa’s Star of the Match Granit Xhaka a 6/10.
Despite the newspaper’s verdict, Saka will remain a key part of manager Gareth Southgate’s plans as England try to become European champions for the first time.
