Jadon Sancho to start for England against Ukraine with Jack Grealish on bench and two heroes of Germany win OUT

JACK GREALISH will be left on the bench tonight but Jadon Sancho will get a chance to shine for England against Ukraine, SunSport can reveal.Winger Sancho, who has agreed a deal to join Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund, will be unleashed by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate in the Euro 2020 quarter final.

The 21-year-old has been restricted to just one cameo role as substitute so far in England’s epic run to the last-eight.
Now Sancho will come into the starting XI for the crunch clash in Rome with Southgate reverting to a 4-2-3-1 formation following the 2-0 victory over Germany.
Raheem Sterling, top scorer for the Three Lions at the tournament, broke the deadlock at a raucous Wembley on Tuesday and will retain his spot in attack.
Grealish came on and provided the assist for Harry Kane, who will also lead the nation again, to grab the second against Germany.
However, that has not proved enough for him to replace the injured Bukayo Saka in the forward line.
Full-back Kieran Trippier also reportedly has a muscular problem, so that will see England revert to a flat back four.
Luke Shaw stays at left-back with Kyle Walker moving from centre to the right while John Stones and Harry Maguire stay in the middle.
That will also see Mason Mount come back into the side in midfield behind Kane.

Kalvin Phillips and Declan Rice are both expected to start despite being a yellow card away from suspension with Jordan Pickford retaining his place in goal.
England boss Southgate described both his side and fans at Wembley as ‘immense’ following the Germany match.
And he is desperate for his team’s journey to continue in Rome – despite knowing they will not enjoy the same deafening backing due to supporters being unable to travel to Italy.
He said: “I think there was clearly a big emotional toll from the game and everybody enjoyed the day but, even in the dressing room afterwards, the players were already talking about the next game and the need to prepare well.

“So we have shifted the mindset quickly on to that next challenge. We’ve achieved one challenge but that’s not the Everest we set ourselves, really. We want to push on from where we’ve got to now.
“I think the psychological freshness is key. We’ve obviously got a strong squad as well.
“It’s actually, for us, probably a good thing to be going away now. It would’ve been very hard, three days later, to replicate that experience at Wembley.
“So now we’ve got a different sort of test. We’ve got to go away from home, play a good team, without many English fans in the stadium, so it’s all about our group, it’s all about our team and what we do, and the energy and focus that we create.”

Jack Grealish has been playing at the Euros with a broken left thumb which he suffered in a victory at Tottenham towards the end of last season.
The midfield ace has been seen with a bandaged left hand in his three games so far following a rough challenge in Villa’s 2-1 win over Spurs on May 19.
Asked about the injury, England’s No 7 said: “[Japhet] Tanganga from Tottenham threw me on the floor and I broke my thumb.”
On whether it had healed, the attacker showed reporters how bent his thumb was and added: “It’s still like that a little bit isn’t it?”
Though Grealish has revealed the worst part of having a thumb injury – he can no longer play his PlayStation.

Speaking of how he relaxes in his downtime, the 25-year-old said: “From what the guys have said they set up a lot of stuff but I suppose it is just the normal, Netflix and Playstation…
“I can’t actually play at the moment because I have broken my thumb.
“I have had to knock it on the head a little bit at the moment so I can’t play.”

And among the partners supporting the boys in yellow and blue include a top journalist, charity patron and student.
Here, SunSport details the women behind the Euros quarter-finalists.
    Vlada Zinchenko
Oleksandr Zinchenko is undoubtedly one of Ukraine’s most talented footballers and he is married to one of the country’s most talented reporters.
Vlada was working on the team’s 5-0 win over Serbia in June 2019 when he planted a kiss on her cheek to confirm their relationship.
They were again in the spotlight as he helped Ukraine qualify for Euro 2020 a few months later, hugging on air.
And Oleksandr proposed with a heartfelt display of roses inside the national team’s 70,000-capacity Kiev stadium before their big day last year.

Having turned out for a number of Manchester City games, Vlada was not afraid to share her tactical knowledge in a sharp criticism of Pep Guardiola.
Following City’s Champions League loss to Lyon in 2020, and with her beau on the bench throughout, she fired a barb at the Spaniard via her YouTube channel.
The 25-year-old said: “Perhaps I have no right to say this, perhaps Zinchenko will forbid me. But to put it mildly, and in order not to swear, this is completely Guardiola’s fault.”
Oleksandr even apologised for the outburst on his wedding day and Guardiola apparently later joked to his player: “The most important for me is to be liked by your wife.”

She posed with a bicycle in Amsterdam for her 459,000 Instagram followers before the defeat to the Netherlands, and was in Bucharest for the other two group games.
And the journalist popped up in Glasgow for Ukraine’s beating of Sweden, in which Zinchenko was named Man of the Match.

Tatiana is a model who divides her time between Kiev and Brussels, while hubbie Yevhenii plays for Anderlecht – spending last season on loan back at old club Kortrijk.

The couple recently welcomed their second child to join toddler Sasha.
And she watched Tuesday’s win over Sweden from Kiev, responding deliriously to her country’s late triumph.
    Christina Yaremchuk
Few have had more to celebrate than Christina this summer after she watched Gent star husband Roman Yaremchuk bag two goals at Euro 2020.
She witnessed their win over Sweden from a cinema alongside Tania Makarenko and Anna Kravets, the partner of striker Artem who did not make the squad.
The model often delights her 8,500 Instagram faithful with images of her poses in a number of shoots.

    Margarita Stepanenko
Margarita is a full member of the Wags brigade having made the trip to Bucharest and joined Yulia Pyatov for a YouTube show earlier this month.

Watch Italy party on plane after extending unbeaten run to 32 with Belgium win to go just three behind all-time record

ITALY have taken their incredible unbeaten run to a whopping 32 matches – and have celebrated in style. The Azzurri are now just three behind the all-time record shared by two countries.

Roberto Mancini’s side extended their impressive form with a 2-1 win over Belgium in their Euro 2020 quarter-final last night – and celebrated as they flew home from Munich.
Nicolo Barella and Lorenzo Insigne fired Italy into a 2-0 lead before Romelu Lukaku pulled one back from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
The victory set up a semi-final date with Spain at Wembley on Tuesday night.
But it also means Italy are closing in on the international football record for the most number of games without tasting defeat.
They last lost way back in September 2018, 1-0 to Portugal in a Nations League clash.
Since then, the four-time world champions have won 27 and drawn five.
That includes victory in their last 13 matches.
The run also features 6-0 and 5-0 wins over Liechenstein, a 9-1 against Armenia, 6-0 at home to Moldova and thumping San Marino 7-0.

EURO 2020 FREE BETS: GET OVER £2,000 IN NEW CUSTOMER DEALS

In total, Italy have scored 85 goals and conceded just nine in that time – keeping a staggering 23 clean sheets.
Austria’s strike in extra-time last week brought an 11-game stretch of shutouts to an end.
Victory over Spain in Tuesday’s semi-final and then winning the final next Sunday would leave Italy on 34 matches unbeaten, one shy of the record currently shared by Brazil and Spain.
    The Selecao’s 35 came between 1993 and 1996.
After losing a friendly to Germany in November 1993, they went on to win the World Cup the following year – beating Italy in the final in the United States.
They did lose a penalty shootout to Uruguay in the Copa America final in 1995 but their normal-time unbeaten run carried on until January 1996 when Mexico recorded a 2-0 win.
Spain, meanwhile, enjoyed their domination between 2007 and 2009, starting by beating England 1-0 at Old Trafford then won Euro 2008 with Fernando Torres scoring the winner in the final.
A shock Confederations Cup semi-final defeat halted the streak in 2009 but was a rare one-off as Spain won 27 out of 28 games then secured the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012.

Boxing champ and Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko speaks to The Sun
The heavyweight champ, beaten by Lennox Lewis in 2003, wore his country’s yellow and blue team kit as he said: “Today all Ukrainians, even those who are not very keen on football, are closely following the contest against Gareth Southgate and his men.
“But in all honesty, the game will be the toughest and most challenging for our national team.
“England is one of the best team’s both in Europe and the world.”

Former British Army hero Gavin Kuhl, 43, reckons Harry Kane and co will run away 2-0 victors in the anticipated Rome clash.
And he travelled 1,429 miles to be there – just so he could experience the buzz of the big game.
Gav, originally from Cornwall but living in Oslo, Norway, for the last ten years, said: “We’re not allowed to watch the game in Italy so this is the next best thing.
“I thought, ‘why not?’ The beer here is good and the Ukrainian women are beautiful.”
Gav, who served in the Princess of Wales regiment, roared: “All the Ukrainians are saying England have a better squad but they are fiercer and a more dedicated team.
“I think they’re in for a big surprise!”

The roaring Ukranian beast is backing Andriy Shevchenko’s men to show their own might in Rome tomorrow night.
But Sun man Ben Leo bid for his own victory over Ukraine by tackling 21-stone Novikov in a brute test of power.

And in what is hoped will be the only Ukranian victory over England in the next 24 hours, Novikov proved he was the real deal with an extremely close-fought win.
Elsewhere, locals in Kiev today admitted Ukraine must channel the spirit of footie legend Valeriy Lobanovskyi if they have a chance of taming the Three Lions.

Motorists honked their horns and gave the thumbs-up in excitement for today’s big game reached fever-pitch.
It came as Ukranian pubs and restaurants announced they were offering free booze to their 40million countrymen every time England concede tomorrow.

But locals in Kiev last night feared: “I think we will end up very parched!”
Taxi driver Alexi Dravachenko told The Sun: “When Russia were playing their first match against Belgium, lots of restaurants and bars here offered free drinks for every goal they conceded.“We are doing the same against England but I have a feeling everyone is going to be left very thirsty.”

Ukraine’s notorious ‘Butt Squad’ flash bums to show support ahead of Euro 2020 showdown with England

MODELS from Ukraine’s notorious “Butt Squad” – who were jailed for a racy photo shoot in Dubai – posed in Kyiv to support their country ahead of tonight’s Euro 2020 game against England.Their cheeky balcony snap on a skyscraper caused outrage when it went viral in April – but now four of the women used blue and yellow Ukrainian flags as props to back their team.
‘Butt Squad’ models posed waving Ukrainian flags to support their team in Euro 2020
The models went viral after this snap in Dubai which saw some of them thrown in jail
Yana Graboshchuk, 27, a trained lawyer, said: “Our team is our pride, I believe in victory. We will watch and support Ukraine.”
Fellow Butt Squad member Diana added: “Only forward, only victory.”
They posed overlooking the River Dnipro and People’s Friendship Arch  in Kyiv ahead of the Euro 2020 quarter final tie.
England play Ukraine tonight in Rome as the two sides duke it out for a spot in the semis – just one step away from final glory at Wembley.
The four were part of a group that flew to Dubai with playboy Vitaliy Grechin, 41, based in Kyiv, in April.
After a scandalous naked shoot on a balcony, 13 of the female participants were held in a “hell” jail in Dubai as was Grechin.
They were accused of public indecency but eventually released and ordered to leave the United Arab Emirates.
Grechin, who holds a US passport, was previously pictured with a string of famous names including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, George Clooney,  and Sylvester Stallone.
The women were accused of offending public decency, and have been banned from Gulf countries for at least five years.
Photographer Alexander Ten flew out to Russia before Dubai police started rounding up the participants.
Butt Squad model Evgenia Taran told of their hellish experience as they held by the authorities for two weeks.
Grechin plays the piano surrounded by the naked models in the same location where the infamous balcony pics were taken
She said: “The light was on 24/7 and there was endless knocking air conditioning,” she said.
“The lack of toilet paper, spoons, and human attitude from employees goes without saying.
“But the most terrible thing is ignorance, because your questions are not answered, and they allow you to contact the world according to their mood, and for money.”
The model added: “The only thing that saved me there were the books I somehow managed to beg for.”
Playboy businessman Grechin is known as somewhat of a man of mystery – and being stocky and unshaven is not everyone’s idea of a playboy.
But he was pictured playing piano surrounded by the naked models – and boasts he slept with two of the girls.
The woman lined up on the balcony
The footage was taken from a next-door building
He has deep pockets, picking up the tab for the $13,500 (£9,700) all-expenses-paid trip.
The businessman told The Sun: “I live the way 90 per cent of heterosexual males on this planet would like to live but don’t. And I don’t want to apologise for it.”
His Facebook page is plastered with pictures of him in exotic locations with glamorous young women.
He was held for 20 days over the stint before then contracting Covid while behind bars, ending up in a quarantine.
Saddled with a six-figure legal bill to sort out the mess, speaking from an isolation facility he said: “It’s not a prison but I can’t leave the room and everything I do is monitored.”
Vitaliy insisted his Butt Squad are just “friends” and not involved in prostitution — nor was the balcony pose a publicity stunt or promotion of any sort.
Playboy Vitaliy Grechin bragged he has not regrets over the photoshoot
The dad-of-two said: “What the girls did is wrong, based on the laws of Dubai.
“But we are talking about a bunch of very young, excited, open-minded, regular girls who have nothing to do with escorting, modelling or anything else.
“In Dubai, everything is on camera. If we had other guys coming over, if these girls were prostituting, it would all show up.”
He admits sleeping with two of the Butt Squad, explaining: “I’ve had sexual relations with two of these girls. And not at the same time. We’re normal people.”
Several Russian models escaped from Dubai before police rounded up the participants.

And a Russian IT company boss Alexey Kontsov, 33, who allegedly posted pictures of the stunt was also taken into custody.
Speaking to Russian news outlet Life, Ten admitted he shot the balcony pics – but blamed Grechin for the scandal.
“I do not know that I am wanted in Dubai. I did not offer anything. I am an ordinary photographer. This was a special shoot for Vitaliy Grechin and his needs,” he said.
“I was told to arrive at the appointed time and place and take pictures of the girls, so I arrived. I was personally hired by Grechin.”

MAN UNITED are gearing up to splash the cash on Serie A midfield gem Marcelo Brozovic following their stunning £72 million deal for Jadon Sancho. But the Red Devils may have to fight with Barcelona for the services of the Croatia international according to La Repubblica and the Daily Star.

Alongside skipper Luka Modric, Brozovic was one of the shining lights for his national side at the Euros putting in impressive performances in the competition’s group stages and last 16.
The Zagreb-born Inter Milan star, 28, helped Croatia dominate possession during their crucial 3-1 group game win against Scotland.
And he was arguably one of their most dynamic performers against Spain, who they pushed all the way before falling to a dramatic 5-3 last 16 defeat after extra time.

United’s rivals Liverpool are thought to have made a move for the 5ft 11in midfielder who is admired for the quality of his passing range and vision in Serie A.
However the Merseyside giants decided to go for the choice of bringing Thiago Alcantara to Anfield from Bayern Munich instead.
Brozovic, who moved to Inter in 2015 after a three-year spell with Dinamo Zagreb, is reported to have just one year left on his current contract with the San Siro giants.
The player, who helped the club clinch their 19th Serie A title last term, netted six goals and provided two assists in 33 top-flight appearances in Italy.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are thought to be serious about testing the resolve of the Serie A champions by offering £26million for the player.
And some reports claim the midfielder is being eyed as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba should the France star leave Old Trafford this summer.

But United could face a tug-of-war with Ronald Koeman and his Barca colleagues who are reportedly keen on bringing the player to the Nou Camp.
Brozovic began his senior playing career at 19 at Croatian club Hrvatski Dragovoljac in 2010 before switching to Lokomotiva in 2011
The player would move to Dinamo Zagreb in 2012 before heading to his current employers Inter in 2015.
