    NOW OR NEVER
Manchester United legend Gary Neville insists it is “now or never” for Harry Maguire as he can’t expect him to return to England’s starting line-up in the knockout stages when the difficulty level picks up after his injury.
Neville told Sky Sports: “My concern was [against Scotland] that it wasn’t just the Harry Kane thing – the rest of them lacked sharpness. Even when [Jack] Grealish and [Marcus] Rashford came on, the performance didn’t change.
“For me, going into the Czech Republic game – understanding that I have played with England teams in tournaments that looked fatigued – that is the only thing that I’m looking at in the first five, 10 minutes.
‘”Is the sharpness back, and was it just a mental thing going into that Scotland game? Now’s the time for some continuity – we need to start settling on a team. That might mean that Harry Maguire comes back in.
“If he doesn’t play tomorrow against the Czech Republic, I don’t know how he can come in against a France or a Portugal in round two. It’s now or never for Maguire”

    ENGLAND THROUGH
England have been confirmed as qualifying to Euro 2020’s Round of 16, with a game to spare.
Results on Sunday and Monday evening, with each group playing out their final fixture, mean that a tally of four points is now definitely enough for any nation to progress to the knockout phase.
Therefore, the Three Lions’ win against Croatia and draw with Scotland are enough for Gareth Southgate’s men to advance no matter what happens with the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
The two teams are going to square off at Wembley Stadium tomorrow
    MBAPPE/BENZEMA UPDATE
France stars Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe were allegedly subjected to racial abuse during the weekend’s draw with Hungary in Budapest.
Mbappe is said to have been targeted with monkey noises stemming from some Hungarian fans.
According to De Telegraaf, members of the crowd were very vocal while carrying out the sickening abuse.
It is also reported that the Paris Saint Germain star’s team-mate Benzema, who has Algerian heritage, was also insulted
    CLARKE ON GILMOUR
Scotland boss Steve Clarke has confirmed Chelsea ace Billy Gilmour is asymptomatic after testing positive for coronavirus but admits he is still “upset”.
Clarke said: “He’s upset, as you would expect.
“He has no symptoms, hopefully his health will hold up.
“Billy would have started the game and now he won’t so it’s a chance for someone else to come into the team and make themselves a national hero”
    DEMBELE OUT
Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele will miss the rest of Euro 2020 for France due to a knee injury.
Dembele came on as a second-half substitute during the Tricolores’ shock 1-1 draw with Hungary on Saturday but had to be substituted just 30 minutes later.
The French Football Federation said: “Ousmane Dembele had an X-ray at the Budapest hospital on Sunday night.
“The recovery time is incompatible with him staying in the squad”
    FA REACTION
The FA confirmed the news that England aces Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount are self-isolating after coming in contact with Scotland’s Billy Gilmour.
A statement from the FA read: “As a precaution at this time and in consultation with Public Health England, Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount are isolating after interaction with Scotland player Billy Gilmour at Friday’s match.
“The pair will be kept away from the rest of the England players and wider support team, pending further discussions with PHE. The entire squad had lateral flow tests on Monday afternoon and all were again negative, as was the case with Sunday’s UEFA pre-match PCR tests.
“We will continue to follow all Covid-19 protocols and the UEFA testing regime, while remaining in close contact with PHE”

    SOUTHGATE REACTS
England manager Gareth Southgate is not yet sure if Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell will be available for tomorrow’s crucial Euro 2020 match against the Czech Republic.
Mount and Chilwell are self-isolating as a precaution following their interaction with Scotland star Billy Gilmour, who has tested positive for coronavirus.
Southgate said: “We don’t know at the moment.
“There’s obviously got to be quite a doubt but there’s still a lot of discussions and investigations going on behind the scenes, so at the moment they’re isolating and we just have to find out over the next 12 hours or so”
    MOUNT AND CHILWELL ISOLATING
England aces Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell are doubts for Tuesday’s crucial Euro 2020 clash against the Czech Republic.
According to Sky Sports, Mount and Chilwell have gone into self-isolation as a precaution following their interaction with Scotland’s Billy Gilmour, who has tested positive for coronavirus.
The Three Lions duo embraced and spoke to Gilmour following Friday’s draw at Wembley.
The Chelsea players – along with the rest of Gareth Southgate’s squad – have returned negative COVID-19 tests, but it remains unclear whether the duo will be available to play against the Czechs
    ENGLAND RATTLED
Manchester City star Raheem Sterling admitted England were rattled by Scotland as they got “drawn into their style of play”.
Sterling said: “Scotland was a different challenge — a different type of test. I felt we got drawn into their style of play.
“What did we lack? A bit of personality from the whole team on the pitch. A game like that is where we need to show more of our personality.
“They came and threw things at us that we just didn’t deal with well enough.
“We could have done more when we were on the ball and dominated the game.
“It was a pretty weird match to be involved in”
    LEW-SING OUT
Real Madrid are targeting Everton star centre-forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin, SunSport can exclusively report.
New Real boss, and former Toffees head coach, Carlo Ancelotti has included Calvert-Lewin on his wish-list and has previously described him as the “complete striker”.
And with the Merseysiders under growing financial pressure, owner Farhad Moshiri may feel forced to accept a cut-price of £50million bid for the 24-year-old.

    MAGUIRE UPDATE
Harry Maguire says he is ready to take on Czech Republic – and told England’s young guns they can only really be having a good time if they are winning football matches.
Maguire is in with a chance of making his first Euro 2020 appearance in the Group D decider having finally overcome the ankle injury which threatened to rule him out of the tournament.
And the Manchester United star is itching to get back into game action along with fellow old-hand Jordan Henderson to show leadership to a young group who seem happy just to be involved in a major competition.
Maguire said: “It’s all stable now and I’m available and I’m ready to go.
“It’s important, leadership in the group. I think we’ve got a lot of leaders in our group – a lot of captains club level as well which is really important to bring that experience.
“Jordan’s back to fitness and has been training a while and myself, I’m sure we can bring lots of qualities to the group in terms of leadership off the field but, obviously, where it matters is on the pitch.
“The boys have put us in a good position in the group now and we’re ready to kick on.
“Experience and leadership is such an important part of the squad. Obviously it’s a 26 man squad, it’s a big squad and lots and lots of talent and lots of first time tournaments for people.
“I’m sure they’re having a great time, but you only have a great time and great tournament if you win football matches and that’s what we’re here to do.”
Maguire admits the rehab sessions at the start of camp were tough as he was put through his paces by the medical team without any chance to muck in with the team.
But those lung-busting sessions are now behind him and he cannot wait to get some game time, after missing out on a planned run-out against Scotland because the match was on a knife-edge.
He added: “It’s been tough doing them sessions, the rehab sessions are always tough as you need to work hard, you need to prepare yourself for the contact training.
“The sessions on your own aren’t the most pleasurable because a lot don’t involve a football and they involve lungs and running so it’s nice to be back with the lads in training.
“Obviously small sided games and it’s great to be back involved, is that is what you all enjoy doing, especially when you’re a footballer.
“It’s getting stronger, I’m getting more confident the more sessions I do.
“The more games I play, I’m sure I’ll get more confidence and that’s the thing with these type of injuries I think it’s just about building the confidence”
    LEW-SING OUT

New Real boss, and former Everton head coach, Carlo Ancelotti has put Calvert-Lewin on his wish-list as has previously described him as the “complete striker”.

    STILL NOT BLUE
Cesar Azpilicueta hopes Spain can do a Chelsea by turning their dreadful campaign around to become kings of Europe.
La Roja must win their final Group E crunch against Slovakia here tomorrow to guarantee their place in the last 16.
Yet they have already been written off by many – including a large number of their own fans – after drawing both of their opening two games at home to Sweden and Poland.
It is the first time Spain have failed to win either of their two opening matches at a Euros since 1996.
That has left them third in their table and facing an embarrassing early exit.
But Stamford Bridge ace Azpi is urging his country to take heart from his club after helping them to Champions League glory last month.
He said: “Many people thought the same during the season with Chelsea. Many thought we were dead during the season.
“You learn from that, that’s the lesson, you have to keep fighting until the final.
“We have a very clear objective and we are not going to give up.”
Azpilicueta delivered his country’s much-needed rally cry at their Madrid training camp yesterday.
When it was pointed out to him that three-times winners Spain were no longer favourites to progress to the next stage let alone lift the trophy, the defender snapped: “Favourites? Portugal were not favourites in 2016 and they won it. We have advanced to the latter stages of tournaments after difficult starts. Now we have a chance to get through.
“If we win we will be in the last 16 and we have a challenge. Nobody wins the Euros before you start. It’s not about how you start, it’s about how you finish.
“I experienced that this year in the Champions League. This team has the potential to face up to this challenge
“Of course we know we have to improve things. The Slovakia game is like a knockout game.
“I am convinced that if we are all together, including the fans, we will go through.”
Spain stars were booed off by their own followers after their opening stalemate with Sweden on Monday and their 1-1 draw with Poland on Saturday.
Azpilicueta admitted: “We are the first to say that we would love to be closer to the fans. We have always thanked the fans for their support from the pitch.
“Because of the Covid we have been further away but the link between us and the fans is there and we know that we have to give the fans something back now.”
Asked if he had a message for the fans, he said: “To give messages out here matters little. We have to give them out on the pitch.
“What is unnegotiable is the strength and attitude. I hope that when the match finishes on Wednesday we are all happy.”
Azpilicueta, 28, is yet to kick a ball at this tournament, with Spain boss Luis Enrique preferring to play Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente at right-back.
The Blues defender said: “I came here with the objective of supporting the team the best that I could.
“I prepare myself to the best of my ability, so that I am ready to play, just like everyone does.
“We have a staff who decide what the team is and I have been supporting the team from the bench.
“Marcos is playing at an incredible level. He can play in many positions and he is in great form. From my position I try to help him.
“The 24 players train to play but the manager picks the team. We all have the desire to play. I can only train better”
    KANE DO THAT
Tottenham are set to reject Manchester City’s whopping £100million offer for England star striker Harry Kane.
City are determined to sign Kane in the summer and are even willing to swap a few players, with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Aymeric Laporte already linked with a move to north London.
According to The Guardian, however, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is determined to keep the Three Lions captain, who has three years left in his contract.
Kane has informed the north Londoners he wishes to leave in the summer transfer window and has also been linked with Chelsea as well as Manchester United
    EURO STARS
Gareth Southgate is set to stick with what he knows when England play Czech Republic tomorrow.
Despite calls for Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho to be involved, Southgate is instead likely to keep faith with the same group that drew 0-0 with Scotland and barely beat Croatia 1-0.
Indeed, the only changes that are set to be made are full-backs Luke Shaw and Reece James dropping out for Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker again.

    CITIZEN KANE
Man City have launched a £100MILLION cash bid for Tottenham striker and England captain Harry Kane, according to reports.
It is believed the Premier League champions are willing to include one or more players in the deal, including Raheem Sterling.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, City have offered Spurs £100m ‘guaranteed’ for Kane, 27.
City are also reportedly willing to include players in the deal, with Sterling, Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus among those rumoured.
It is understood Tottenham chief Daniel Levy will not accept City’s offer – and Kane’s future will not be decided until after Euro 2020.

    HAIR TO THE THRONE
England’s stars have promised to copy Phil Foden’s Gazza-inspired blonde haircut if they win Euro 2020, writes GARY STONEHOUSE.
It was 25 years ago when Paul Gascoigne scored one of England’s most memorable goals against Scotland in the country’s epic run to the Euro 96 semi-finals.
The 21-year-old Manchester City star drew comparisons with the Three Lions legend when he dyed his hair before this summer’s tournament.
Following the opening day 1-0 win over Croatia, Foden maintained the look for Friday’s frustrating stalemate against the Tartan Army at Wembley.
Now Foden has revealed the England squad will copy his blonde cut if they end their 55-year wait for a major trophy.
He told talkSPORT: “I told the team that if we win it they have to get the same haircut as me and they all agreed.
“Hopefully if we win it you will see everyone with the same haircut, I think Romania did it so I would make everyone, which would be funny.
“To be honest, it was my own thing and then I saw people turn it into something else and I jumped on it like everyone else would.
“I decided to change it up and called the barber and I’ve liked it ever since.
“I had another cut the other day to make it lighter.”

    MAGIC WAND
Will Yarmolenko wave his magic wand of a left foot and fire Ukraine into the knockout stages?

    TEAM NEWS: UKRAINE VS AUSTRIA
Austria’s talisman Marko Arnautovic is back after serving a one-match ban for his controversial goal celebration against North Macedonia, writes THOMAS BLOW.
Foda is expected to go with a full strength side, although David Alaba, Daniel Bachmann and Stefan Lainer are all a yellow card away from a ban.
Ukraine stars Mykola Shaparenko and Serhiy Sydorchuk are also at risk of suspension, but Shevchenko must treat the game as a knock-out and pick his strongest team.

    LIFE WITH ENGLAND
Raheem Sterling is enjoying his time away with England and has ‘enjoying’ his football.
He said: “It is just happiness, just being happy, enjoying my football and that is what I am doing being here with the national team.
“If you’re not playing, you’re not happy.
“That’s me, that’s been me since I was a kid, if I’m playing football I am really happy, if I’m not I’m not happy.”

Belgium go through after winning all three of their Group B matches, and they’ll go on to face Austria.
The devastating loss for Finland and the barnstorming win for Denmark against Russia means the teams switch places.
Denmark go on to face Wales in the next round, and for Finland, qualifying as one of four of the best third placed teams looks very unlikely.
Plenty more football to come, starting with tomorrow.
Croatia take on Scotland in a crucial game at Hampden Park, a win for either side takes them up to four points and could see them qualify for the knockout stages in either second or third.
And England take on group leaders the Czech Republic.
We’ll be covering it here at SunSport, so keep an eye out!

Elsewhere, Denmark hit four past Russia in Copenhagen and won the game 4-1.

Jack Grealish is brave, takes risks and will spark shy England into life against Czech Republic, says Jose Mourinho

ENGLAND look like a shy team, so they need Jack Grealish against the Czech Republic tonight. He looks like he has always been on that stage.
⚽ Follow ALL of the latest news and updates from Euro 2020 with our live blog
Calling in Jack Grealish would give England the boost they need, Jose Mourinho believesCredit: The Sun
Aston Vill’s Jack Grealish may lack big-game experience but he has the boldness to take risks and ‘create instability’ in opponentsCredit: Getty
The guy is brave. The guy never played a European match for his club but he arrives in the national team and  is fearless.
He risks. He gambles. He loses the ball. He creates. He kicks people. People kick him. He creates instability in opponents.
    And he wins free-kicks.
You win free-kicks in wide areas then you go with Harry Maguire or Tyrone Mings or John Stones and Harry Kane — and England are powerful on set-pieces.
England looked a shy team against Scotland because they were a team without that thing that Grealish has.
I don’t like comparing players — and Luis Figo was at a different level — but Grealish is like Figo in that he’ll demand the ball.
He says, ‘Give me the ball and I will resolve this!’

Grealish didn’t play amazingly when he came on against Scotland but how many times did he have the ball? How many fouls did they commit on him? How many one-against-ones did he create? England need these qualities.
If you start with Grealish and you have a striker like Harry Kane, you also want a runner to attack spaces — so you need either Raheem Sterling or Marcus Rashford.
Sometimes with City,  Sterling is so wide he is talking to the linesman. Then suddenly the space is there and ‘boom’ the run is made.
    SCOTLAND 0-0 WAS NO DRAMA
I think Gareth Southgate will make changes and England will win and top the group. I think they will keep three clean sheets.
So Scotland was a bad game but, for me, no drama.
In the last 20 or 25 minutes against Scotland, England didn’t really try to break the game and win it. Scotland were controlling them.
I think it would have been different if they’d really needed the victory to qualify. So maybe there was a bit of pragmatism.
Recalling Reece James and Luke Shaw against Scotland was an attacking moveCredit: Reuters
England did not show enough throughout the game and that was because of the players, not Gareth.
The fact he played Luke Shaw and Reece James was not a sign of ‘we want to be careful’. It was  the opposite.
Kieran Trippier is a better defensive option than Shaw. Kyle Walker is a better defender than James.
So if the gameplan was to keep control and be cautious, they would play Walker and Trippier.
The best qualities of James and Shaw are going forward. Normally, they are fast and aggressive.
That is why I used the word ‘shy’. England did the basics, they were disciplined but no more than that.
    I’D PLAY JUDE BELLINGHAM
I understand why he played Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips in midfield because they controlled the game so well against Croatia.
But you can change a  winning team, as long as you explain why.
So I would play Jude Bellingham tonight. He is a player who can score, create, arrive in the box, a player with physicality and power.
Jude Bellingham should start as he has the athleticism to drive on the England midfieldCredit: Getty
I’d only bring on Maguire if England are winning 2-0.
Stones and Mings are doing well, two clean sheets, fit and playing well together.
Maguire brings that leadership and presence, though. He is a threat in set-pieces but his condition needs to be good.
THIS IS A MATCH WITHOUT PRESSURE
The Czechs are an OK team. Tactically, they are very organised and they have no pressure. But it’s a team England have to beat, a team at a similar level to Scotland, even though they beat the Scots.
Patrik Schick is playing well, scoring goals, confident. But I don’t see England  conceding.
It’s a match without pressure. Four points, you are qualified — even if they finish third.
The best thing is to finish top because that means England will have beaten the Czechs and will be playing ‘happy football’ again.
And they will play at Wembley in the last 16 — even if they face France, Germany or Portugal.
Finish second and England go to Copenhagen to play Slovakia, Poland, Sweden, even Spain.

But to finish second means you didn’t beat the Czechs and then the confidence levels go even lower, the criticism gets higher.
Every pundit, every Englishman or woman in love with football, in the pub, in the restaurant, at home, in the office, everyone is speaking about being Gareth Southgate — but he is the one that has to analyse the players and make the decisions.
I worked with the most charismatic England coach, Sir Bobby Robson, and he was never prouder than when he was talking about managing his national team — but I know the job has unique pressures.
Still, qualification is already in the pocket and I believe England will do well against the Czechs, then go to the knockouts.
KANE’S HAD ZERO PASSES TO FEET AND ZERO CROSSES
Gareth Southgate has said Harry Kane will start tonight and of course he will start, because he is the best.
Only in England would you have a little bit of this noise of the best player, the captain, the top goalscorer, to be on the bench because he didn’t score a goal in two or three matches.
I don’t think you have the same noise if Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t score for  Portugal or Kylian Mbappe for France or Romelu Lukaku for Belgium.
With Harry, I would ask, ‘How many chances has he missed?’ Zero. ‘How many crosses have been delivered to him?’ Zero. ‘How many vertical passes into his feet, in between the lines?’ Zero. How many times has he had triangles with the two wingers coming inside and making that combination with him?’ Zero.
In Portugal, everyone is blaming Nelson Semedo for Portugal losing to Germany because the goals arrived down his side, but the situation would have been the same whoever was right-back.
England’s main man up front, Harry Kane, has had a poor service so farCredit: Getty
It was not Semedo but the situation Semedo was put in.
For Gareth to take off Harry with 15 minutes to go against Scotland was absolutely normal, to bring a fresh player to try to create a new problem.
He went with Marcus Rashford, or he could have done it with Dominic  Calvert-Lewin, because he is better in the air, but the game was more tight so he tried with Rashford.
That’s normal if you have good players on the bench.
The rules allow for five changes. You have 12 players and a bench full of talent.
You look to the left and to the right and you could even feel confused —  Rashford or Calvert-Lewin? Grealish or Jadon Sancho?
It’s normal with 15 minutes to go, I don’t think there’s any problem with that.
But you leave Kane out of the starting line-up and play who? Calvert-Lewin? Good player. Rashford? Good player.
But Harry Kane is the best.

    EUR IN TROUBLE
FOR me, France are still favourites to win the Euros — a bad result against Hungary, in a full stadium in Budapest, doesn’t change that.
    But I’m concerned about Portugal.
We can beat France or draw tomorrow but the French have more power and, yes, I am worried.
If Portugal lose and finish with only three points, we must get the calculators out.
Germany impressed me against Portugal and they didn’t play badly against France.
Germany can surprise us, because they were so poor in qualification — although Germany at a high level shouldn’t really be a surprise.
Italy are confident and happy, a team to respect and fear, and Belgium are very solid.
Spain are in a difficult situation. Two home matches, two points. They could not beat Sweden or Poland.
They control matches but don’t find it easy to score. They play Slovakia next, though, and I think they will qualify with five points.

Steve Clarke urges Scotland to ensure Billy Gilmour’s display vs England doesn’t mean nothing amid coronavirus hell

STEVE CLARKE received the alarm call from hell when he woke to the news of Billy Gilmour’s positive Covid test. The 20-year-old Chelsea playmaker was right at the heart of Scotland boss Clarke’s plans for Tuesday night’s must-win game against Croatia at Hampden Park.

Steve Clarke faced the press today
But now he will have to get by without his team’s star performer from last week’s goalless draw at Wembley after Gilmour was left inconsolable.
Clarke, who hugged Gilmour at the final whistle on Friday, last night revealed: “We were tested on Sunday as normal ahead of the game and I was given the news at about ten to seven this morning.
“The doc and our head of performance Graeme Jones had to have a very difficult conversation with Billy when the test came back positive and he’s very upset, as you would expect.
“It was obviously a shock to the lad because he was going to start against Croatia after the way he played against England.”
It was pointed out to Clarke that a lot of his players were hugging friends and family following the goalless draw with England last Friday.
But he insisted: “People all over the world have caught this virus so it’s not something you can legislate for and I’m certainly not going to speculate about how it got into our camp.
“We’ve followed the protocols, we wear masks at the right time, we wash our hands and have bottles of sanitiser around the place.
“We do everything we can within the context of a global pandemic and a virus that you can’t see.

“But now we have to make sure that Billy’s good performance against England doesn’t go to waste — and this a chance for someone else to step in and make themselves a national hero.”
The entire Scotland squad has been left reeling ahead of their final Group D game, which they must win to stand any chance of progressing to the knock-out stages of a major tournament for the first time in their history.
And defender Liam Cooper has vowed that they will be trying even harder to win the game for their absent friend.
The Leeds centre-half said: “It was a shock when we heard the news about Billy and we’re all  gutted.
But this will definitely give us a bit more motivation to do him proudLiam Cooper
“He had just announced himself on the world stage with his performance against England  and now this has happened to him.
“But this will definitely give us a bit more motivation to do him proud and hopefully we can get the job done against Croatia and start looking at the next round.
“I’ve spoken to Billy and he’s feeling OK, so we just send our love to him and let him know that we’re all thinking about him.
“I’ve had Covid myself so I know how rough it can be. I really struggled with it for a few days. It was difficult to deal with the headaches and the loss of taste and smell.
“But John Fleck got through it a couple of weeks ago without any symptoms so hopefully Bill stays that way as well.
“It is worrying to know that the virus is back because it feels 100 per cent safe in the camp.

“We’ve all returned negative tests apart from Billy. And we took lateral flow tests as an extra precaution — and again everyone was negative.
“I was asking the lads today who had been vaccinated because it wasn’t something I’d really thought about and I haven’t had my first jab yet.
“To be honest, I don’t think I’d feel too good about having a vaccination so close to the game.
“So we’ve got to be aware of the risks. But if we score against Croatia and get the win we need, it’s difficult to know how we’ll react because it’s heat of the moment stuff — and we all know the joy that football can give you.”

Of all the teams in the tournament, Denmark deserve this more than anyone.

    Italy
    Belgium
    Holland
    Wales
    Austria
    England
    Switzerland
    Czech Republic
    Sweden
    France
    Denmark

The Italians followed up their 3-0 win over Turkey by hammering Switzerland by the same scoreline to make if through to the last 16.
And a 1-0 win over Wales made it a clean sweep for the Italians – but also saw the Welsh finish second and go through.
Switzerland will be forced to wait to see if they can qualify after a 3-1 win over Turkey saw them secure third in Group A.
Belgium have qualified from Group B after seeing off Denmark 2-1 in Copenhagen, while Holland have been confirmed as Group C winners following victory over Austria.
After Denmark’s incredible win over Russia, every team who has four points will now be guaranteed a spot in the last-16.
As such, England are through ahead of their game against the Czech Republic.
The Three Lions can even afford to lose at Wembley – they would still qualify as one of the top-ranked third-placed teams.

Have Wales qualified for the Euro 2020 last 16?
Yes. Wales have finished second in Group A and have therefore qualified.
Switzerland must wait on other results after finishing third with four points.

Micah Richards reveals he once had to borrow Steven Gerrard’s boots and was ‘sensational’

MATCH OF THE DAY pundit Micah Richards has revealed he once borrowed Steven Gerrard’s boots on England duty – and claims he was ‘sensational’ wearing them. The ex-Manchester City defender had taken two left boots to training and was forced to ask the Liverpool skipper if he could borrow his.

When asked about the story by presenter Gabby Logan on BBC Sport, Richards said: “[It was] very awkward, to be honest.
“I was going to [play for] England for the first time and my kitman – Les Chapman, at the time – put two left boots in my bag.
“So I’ve gone out to train and I’ve got two left boots.
“I’ve seen Steven Gerrard in the hallway and asked – and I don’t know him – ‘Can I borrow your boots?’
“And he let me wear his boots for training – and I was absolutely sensational! I got my boots back and I was crap again!
“I was making long-range passes, short, curling – I was taking free-kicks and all!”

Fellow BBC pundit Alex Scott then got involved with the banter, adding: “That’s what he does in the studio now with suits.”
Richards made his international debut against Holland in November 2006 aged 18, becoming the youngest defender to play for England.
At the time Gerrard was the reigning PFA Player of the Year having inspired Liverpool to victory in the 2005 Champions League final and helping them win the FA Cup the following season.
Richards went on to pick up 13 caps for England and win the Premier League and FA Cup with City before a serious knee injury ended his career in October 2016, aged 28.
The former Aston Villa star did try to recover but was forced to retire in July 2019, going on to become one of the most popular pundits in English football.
