    ‘That’s Freudian slip of the day’, says Sky Sports presenter after embarrassed reporter’s blunder live on TV

    The reporter immediately corrected himself and smiled at the embarrassing blunder.
    Viewers watching on from home also found the incident amusing and poked fun at Downie.
    One said: “Sensational Ian Beale 😂👏”

    EastEnders icon run over by Chelsea star Wesley Fofana with actor breaking collar-bone after being ‘catapulted’ into air

    EASTENDERS star Dean Gaffney was injured after being run over on a night out by £70million Chelsea star Wesley Fofana.Dad-of-two Gaffney suffered a broken collar-bone after being “catapulted” into the air when he was struck by the player’s Lamborghini.

    He was treated in hospital before being allowed home while £230,000-a-week Fofana was breathalysed at the scene on the King’s Road in Chelsea, West London.
    The French international centre-back, 23, passed the test and was allowed on his way as he was not deemed to be at fault for the accident.
    Gaffney, 45, only found out Fofana was the driver later while sources said the player was “unaware” of the I’m A Celeb star’s identity.
    A source said: “It was a nasty accident and Dean said afterwards that he was lucky to be alive and was counting his blessings.

    “He’d just left a nightspot and was trying to get in a black cab when the Lamborghini hit him in the midriff, catapulting him into the air.
    “He was out cold and his mates were all really worried. The emergency services gave him pain relief and he was patched up in hospital.
    “At the time, he did not realise who the driver was but was told later that it was Wesley Fofana. Dean’s a Brentford fan and joked about a star of a rival club taking out a well-known fan of their neighbours!”
    The source said Gaffney, who played Robbie Jackson in BBC’s Eastenders, had never spoken about the December 2022 accident because there was “no blame attached” and it “was not anybody’s fault”.

    He has already appeared as an unused substitute in four matches so far this season.
    But most football fans will be unaware of the attacking midfielder – who compared himself to Mason Mount and Jack Grealish back in 2020.
    Speaking to BBC Sport at the age of just 14, he said: “Moving from defence to midfield was a very gradual process for me. It took about two seasons.
    “I was a tough-tackling centre-back at the start of my U13 season and now, towards the end of U15 season, I am a centre midfielder and sometimes play as a number 10.”

    A young Castledine went on to name Mount as one of his favourite players, before he claimed to “dribble and create chances” like Grealish.
    And a report from The Athletic last year also revealed Chelsea legend John Terry commented on “what a great trainer Castledine is” and “how he treats each session like a cup final”.
    He has played 35 times for the Blues’ U21 side since joining from Wimbledon in 2020, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.
    He has also played for every England age group side up to the U19s – where he has featured three times since his debut in November.

    Not only is her mum Lucy Alexander a former host of Homes Under The Hammer, but her dad and brother have made names for themselves in football.
    Kitty’s father, Stewart Castledine, 50, spent nine years playing for Wimbledon.
    That included six seasons in the Premier League where he made 26 appearances, scoring four goals.

    Smith, 54, is facing off with GB News panellist Adam Brooks on KSI’s Misfits Boxing 011.
    However, he ahead of the fight he has admitted Smith was not his first choice bout.
    Instead, he was targeting a fight with John Fury, the father of heavyweight champion Tyson and ex-Love Island star Tommy.
    But this fight was a non-starter after he was told he was too heavy for him by Misfits’ co-president Mams Taylor.

    Though that has not dulled his excitement for his influencer boxing debut.
    Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “I’m extremely excited, this is for Misfits Boxing, KSI is obviously huge here.
    “The youngsters are into this, it’s crazy the following they have. Myself and Mams were speaking, I said, ‘I would love to fight John Fury.’
    “But he said, ‘what? He’s 100 pounds heavier than you!’ He said, ‘how much do you weigh?’

    “And when I told him how much I weighed, he said, ‘there’s no way we can match you up, he’s 100 pounds heavier than you.’
    “And I said, ‘well is there anyone else?’ So he said, ‘leave it with me and I’ll get back to you’, and long story short, about four weeks ago, he said, ‘can you get down to 173lbs?’
    “That’s 12st 5lbs, and I haven’t been that light since I was 17-years-old, I’m 54 now.
    “But consistency is key, I cleaned up my diet a little bit, dropped a few pounds, increased the sparring and the running and we’re all on schedule.”
    Smith spent four years on Gladiators between 1995 and 1999.
    He has turned in his lowest body weight in 37 years for tonight’s fight.
    Regardless he has a plan to bear Brooks, who stopped Bachir Fakhouri in a charity fight in September.
    He said: “If he comes for a war and comes out swinging straight away, we’re prepared for that.
    “If he comes out to box and is more stand-offish and wants to box throughout the rounds, we’re prepared for that.
    “Have I seen any footage? Not really. He’s undefeated, he had a 30-second knockout in September, there’s not much really to go on.”
    The main card for tonight’s event will get going from 7pm. More

    He sent Hugo Lloris the wrong way and immediately proceeded to take his shirt off in an incredibly emotional moment.
    Among the pandemonium that ensued, some viewers took a deeper look at Montiel’s tattoo – which was in a position for the cameras to capture it perfectly.
    And an individual on social media proceeded to point out that it resembles Natalie Cassidy’s character in Eastenders – even though it is believed to be of the Virgin Mary.
    They said: “Montiel has a tattoo of Sonia Jackson on his arm and scored the winning penalty in a World Cup Final.”
