Ex-Man City star Olanrewaju Kayode locked in bitter DNA row with wife over claims ‘his three sons aren’t his’

A FORMER Manchester City striker is locked in a bitter row with his wife over an alleged DNA test that revealed he wasn’t the father of their kids. The Nigerian football star Olanrewaju Kayode, 31, has accused his wife, Ezinne Dora Kayode, who goes by ‘Dora’, of lying about her age and allegedly having an affair.Olanrewaju Kayode and his wife Ezinne Dora KayodeKayode has accused his estranged wife of cheating and lying about her ageOlarenwaju Kayode during a friendly between Nigeria and Senegal in 2017Credit: Getty – ContributorAmid ongoing divorce proceedings, rumours of a DNA test spread online earlier this week – claiming that Kayode was not the father of the couple’s three kids.Kayode, who is currently playing for Turkish side Gençlerbirliği, and Dora have now accused each other of planting the story.Posting photos of a legal letter to Dora, Kayode said: “The truth will always be constant; your plot with your PR team to manipulatively change the narrative was revealed to me before hand. “At the appropriate time, the world will know how much evil you perpetrated to the institution of marriage and creating a story around DNA as you all planned will not save the day for you.”Read more on footballKayode’s lawyers said the DNA test story was “embarrassing” for the football star – but failed to confirm their existence. Dora hit out with a letter from her legal team – describing the DNA claims as an “orchestrated smear campaign”. In the letter, she called the striker’s claims “defamatory, causing severe embarrassment” to her and their children. She also accused him of “paternity fraud”.Most read in FootballThe letter stated: “Our client categorically states that, contrary to false allegations being peddled, no DNA test has ever been carried out on any of the children, as you well know. “However, our client is willing and ready for such a test to be immediately conducted by a reputable and neutral institution or facility if you so desire.”Dora said Kayode had put the children in the crossfire of their marriage – and accused him of spreading rumours. “I have kept quiet on all the rumours you have been spreading because they are baseless, childish and false,” she said.”But you include innocent children? No, NOW I MUST speak… the last couple of years in this marriage have been like hell on earth.”The Nigerian international is said to be devastated by the apparent revelation, with one close source saying: “He is determined to get to the bottom of this. “He wants to know the truth and ensure that justice is served.”The man revealed to be the alleged father of Dora’s children Nigerian media has not responded to the claims. The pair married in 2018 – but things turned sour when earlier this year the footballer accused his wife of infidelity, later deleting all pictures of his wife and children from his social media. Addressing the DNA test claims directly in another post online, Dora said: “Olarenwaju Ayobami Kayode, my silence is enough. “Don’t ever drag my kids into your web of lies.“I urge you to provide the result of the DNA to the public and the hospital where it was conducted, as we are willing to give you the DNA… what a great father you are.”She also claimed they’d been left traumatised after being “detaining us in DSS custody”.It was not clear if the child had been removed from the family as part of the paternity battle.DSS custody is when children are taken from their families temporarily by social services. They then work with parents to address safety issues that caused the removal of children from their care.Dora and her team have now reportedly demanded an immediate retraction from her husband and threatened to approach the courts if he does not oblige. The results of the supposed paternity test have not yet been made public. The former Man City striker gained popularity in 2017 when he signed a four-year contract with the Premier League team, but he was immediately loaned out to Spanish side Girona for the season.READ MORE SUN STORIESThe Sun has contacted lawyers from both parties for comment. Premier League star who dumped girlfriend when she was pregnant paying her just half what he earns in a DAY each month

A PREMIER League star who dumped his girlfriend when she was pregnant is only paying her half what he earns in a day a month, a pal claims. The player’s childhood sweetheart is said to be only handing her £1,280- a-month maintenance.A football ace is said to be only paying his ex a ‘paltry sum’ of child maintenance (stock)Credit: GettyBut that works out just half of what the ace, who played in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, is pocketing a day on his contract. A friend claimed the star, who earns nearly £1million a year from his club, initially denied he was the father of his child. He only started paying maintenance after DNA tests confirmed the baby was in fact his, they said. The pal said that until then his ex was struggling to make ends meet – while he enjoyed luxurious holidays and partying with other women. Read more on footballThey said the star and his ex had started dating as teens but things took a turn for the worst when she found out she was pregnant. The ex is said to have now been forced to take out a non-molestation court order against him which states the player must “not use or threaten violence” against her or encourage anyone else to do so.A pal of the footballer’s ex told the Mirror: “It’s been terrible for her. At first he denied the baby was his and then he ditched her while she was pregnant.”He tried to get her to have an abortion and then, when she wouldn’t, he left her. She was skint for months. At the same time he was seeing at least one other woman.” Most read in FootballThey claimed the star only started paying maintenance when his baby was eight months old – after a DNA test proved he was the dad. The friend also said the ace had only met his child once during an arranged visit. He also appeared to deliberately frustrate efforts by the Department for Work and Pensions to prove he was the dad, they claimed. This saw the ex get her local MP involved, who wrote a letter detailing how the player had “initially denied paternity” and then “delayed DNA testing”. They also said he had given “confusing name information” to the DNA testers and had not been “co-operative in supplying his true income figure”. The ace’s salary was revealed when the matter went before the courts – when it was also found that he’d splashed out on a house and was giving his parents £10,000 a month. The court then ordered him to pay the £1,280 a month – which the woman’s pal slammed. They dubbed it a “paltry sum” and claimed it doesn’t cover childcare. The pal added: “She now relies on friends and family to help her out so she can return to her job. All while he’s living it up.” More

Pele’s will reveals star could have a secret DAUGHTER who has to take DNA test to get a cut of legend’s ‘£80m fortune’

PELE’s will reveals he could have a secret daughter – who is in line to get a cut of his rumoured £80million fortune. The football icon – who died in December aged 82 – left 30 per cent of his estate to his widow, third wife Marcia – with the rest to be split between his children.

Pele had at least seven children, but his will reveals there could be an eighth
Pelé was known to have seven children in total, including a secret daughter who he refused to acknowledge until years after her death.
Now it has emerged he could have an eighth child, who is set to take a DNA test.
Pelé left room in his will for her to get her share of inheritance, said Marcia’s lawyer Luiz Kignel.
He said: “He indicated the possibility of the existence of another daughter, whose recognition will depend on a DNA test.”

The Brazilian woman, who was not named, had previously started legal action to prove she was Pele’s daughter.
In September, a court in Sao Paulo ordered ailing Pelé to submit to a DNA test, according to the G1 website.
But Mr Kignel said the test “could not be carried out (on Pele) due to the pandemic and the state of his health.”
Instead her DNA will be compared to one of Pelé’s other children to confirm if he was her father.

The lawyer added Marcia will inherit the soccer hero’s mansion in Guaruja, a seaside resort town south of Sao Paulo, where the couple lived.
Other assets include more real estate and a stake in the Pelé brand, Mr Kignel said, adding that a complete inventory has yet to be made.
Three-times World Cup winner Pelé – hailed the greatest footballer of all time – was said to have a fortune of around £80million, most of it earned after he retired.
However other reports have claimed the will is worth around £13million.
Pelé was married three times, but once admitted he did not know how many children he had after countless wild affairs.
He had three children with first wife Rosemeri – Kelly, Edinho and Jennifer.
Daughter Flavia was born after a romance with journalist Lenita Kurtz.
In 1994 he married second wife, gospel singer Assaria, who gave birth to twins Joshua and Celeste.
However it also emerged he had a fling with his housekeeper Anizia Machado.
Her daughter Sandra Regina, born in 1964, spent years trying to prove she was Pelé’s daughter.
But he refused to recognise her, even after a court ruled he was her father in 1996, and she died “heartbroken” ten years later.
He finally acknowledged Sandra in his will, and it was reportedly his “dying wish” to meet her sons.
Just a day before his death in December, he had his first meeting with grandsons Octavio and Gabriel.
They are expected to inherit Sandra’s share of the estate.
Gabriel told the Mirror: “I thank God for providing this moment – it was what my mother dreamed of most. I spoke to my aunts, and they said that our grandfather wanted to see us.
“Every family has fights and rows, ours is no different, but there are moments when union and love are more important than anything else.”
Pelé’s other children also gathered by his death bed, including daughter Kely who shared the last picture of him in hospital.
The icon – known in Brazil as “O Rei” or The King – had been battling colon cancer.
Thousands of fans lined the streets of his home town Santos for his funeral in January.

Croatia were huge underdogs heading into their quarter-final clash with Brazil, but once again came up with the goods on the big stage.
Neymar’s extra-time winner looked to be enough for the 2002 winners before Bruno Petkovic equalised in the 117th minute.
And then Modric and his team-mates superbly held their nerves in the shoot-out, converting each of their four spot-kicks, while Rodrygo and Marquinhos missed for Brazil.
Croatia’s five World Cup knockout wins since 2018 have all come after 90 minutes, with Zlatko Dalic’s men continuously showing incredible endurance.

That’s despite five of their outfield players being over the age of 30, with Modric, 37, the oldest player in their squad.
Their reward is a semi-final meeting with Argentina, with Croatia bidding to become the first side since Brazil to reach two finals on the bounce.
And Modric has compared them to the reigning European champions.
He told Television Espanola: “You could say we have the same DNA as Real Madrid because we always keep going until the end, and never give up.
