And Paul admitted he could even go as high as 240lb (17st 1lb) only to drop back down to 220lb (15st 7lb) to retain his speed. He said on his podcast: “It’s just like shocking to people that that is how much I weigh.READ MORE IN BOXING”I think just because normally I’m fighting at 200 and walking around at 210. It’s weird to me that I’m weighing 230.”But since this was noodling after my last fight I’m just getting to eat as much as possible and it turns out my body carries this weigh super well.”And I’m only growing. I think I’ll get up to 240 and probably cut down so I’m like way faster.”But if I’m training for this camp – and camp hasn’t started – but if I’m training in this camp at 240 and then I cut down to 220 it’s basically like I had a 20lb weight vest on for the whole entire camp. Most read in BoxingCredit: The SunCASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO WELCOME OFFERS”So my muscles are going to be so much stronger and that speed will come through.”The lightest the Paul has weighed as a fighter is 183.6lb (13st 1lb) but his last two bouts have been at the 200lb cruiserweight limit of 14st 4lb.Jake Paul’s incredible body transformation for Mike Tyson boutAnd his plan to weigh 240lb would be FOUR STONE heavier than the 13st 1lb he scaled before losing to Tommy Fury, 24, last year.In comparison, Anthony Joshua, 34, weighed the same amount for his defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, 37. But he then bulked up to 252.4lb for his knockout win over Francis Ngannou, 37, in March. According to the NHS, at 6ft 1in Paul’s BMI at 240lb would actually make him OBESE. But he admitted to enjoying the extra heavyweight calories and opened up on how his training camp will differ up in weight. He said: “Same training camp essentially but there are a few minute differences which I will elaborate on.”But it’s always the same amount of hard work and dedication. But the differentiators will be me being able to eat which I’ve already noticed is so much better for recovery.READ MORE SUN STORIES”As well as sparring heavyweights and I’ll probably spar less because the heavyweights obviously punch harder and it’s more intense taking shots from heavyweights, which I will obviously be doing this camp.”Jake Paul and Mike Tyson facing offCredit: @jakepaul More
