Tyler – brother of Liverpool star Trent – was smacked in the head with a baseball bat so hard the handle broke off.
While Man Utd ace Marcus’ brother Dane “feared for his life” after a shotgun was pointed at his face.
The masked raiders then made off with a £70,000 Range Rover and jewellery including a £20,000 Rolex.
Both men were struck to the head with the bat and needed stitches after the raid, Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester was told.

Tariq Dervan, 22, Romario Harmer, 21 and Talleko Lemonious, 28, had denied involvement.
But after a trial in January each of them was convicted by a jury of five counts of robbery and three counts of possession of an offensive weapon.
Passing sentence, Mr Recorder Peter Horgan said: “This was clearly a brazen and planned robbery in broad daylight.”
Dervan, from Staffordshire, was jailed for five-and-a-half years; and Harmer, from Old Trafford, Manchester, for four years.

Lemonious, from Wythenshawe, was also sentenced for possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition linked to an unrelated crime.
He was jailed for 18 years in total.
Earlier, Stephen McNally, prosecuting, told the court the victims had been having breakfast with three other friends at the Little Rock Caribbean Café in Moss Side, Manchester, on the morning of January 12, 2019.
They intended to drive to Brighton to watch a Liverpool football match later that day.
But all five were robbed after the trio burst in shouting “get your watches off”, as café staff fled in terror.
The robbers fled in the Range Rover – but it was fitted with a tracker and the trio were arrested by police an hour later at a house around two miles away in Fallowfield, south Manchester.
At the house, police found items stolen in the robbery, including watches and wallets, along with ski masks.
The sawn-off shotgun was found hidden in a nearby bush which had Harmer’s DNA on.

Bolton Wanderers star Kyle Dempsey and his dad face jail for beating up bouncer in ‘ugly & brute’ attack

BOLTON Wanderers star Kyle Dempsey and his dad are facing the prospect of jail time over their joint attack on a bouncer. Both the footballer, 27, and his dad, 50-year-old Michael, are due to be sentenced later today for what the judge described as a “ugly and brute” attack on Maryport Labour Club doorman Darryl Jarvis.
Bolton Wanderers star Kyle Dempsey and his dad have been warned they face jail time by the judgeCredit: Getty
Father and son had earlier admitted actual bodily harm assault on Mr Jarvis during the violent incident at the club in Cumbria on July 16 last year.
The older Dempsy has also admitted causing criminal damage to a door.
Both men had opted for a “trial of issue” before a judge, claiming they had reacted to violence or a threat of it towards them, with “excessive” self-defence regarding Kyle Dempsey and an attempt to defend his son in his father’s case.
Giving his ruling today at Carlisle Crown Court, Judge Ian Unsworth KC said he had reviewed the CCTV images which had captured most of the incident.

Kyle Dempsey, from Blackpool, had been playing for Wanderers in a friendly game against Carlisle United earlier in the day before going to socialise with his family at the Tap Tavern in Maryport, the court heard.
Dempsey senior, from Maryport, drank six or seven pints while his son had three or four.
It was as they were walking to the Labour Club to collect Kyle Dempsey’s granddad that the footballer was attacked by a local man.
Kyle Dempsey was briefly knocked unconscious, the court heard.
    Most read in Football
A short while later, Mr Jarvis was working at the front entrance to the club when he witnessed a “swarm of people” running towards the club.
The man who is said to have attacked Kyle Dempsey was able to get into the club while there was a struggle taking place at the doors.
CCTV footage of the incident revealed Kyle Dempsey to be “acting aggressively” outside the club, the judge said.
Michael Dempsey is said to have thrown a punch, according to the doorman, and the blow connected with his face.
The bouncer told the court he recalled feeling “multiple strikes to my body and face and head” as he was “bent double” and being kept down.
The incident was temporarily stopped after staff at the club closed the door but it flared up again after the doors were flung open, having been kicked by Michael Dempsey.
The court heard how Michael Dempsey was “clearly angry” and determined to get to the man who had earlier punched his son.
Judge Unsworth said in the violence that followed, he was not satisfied that either defendant was acting in self-defence.
Speaking about Michael Dempsey, Judge Unsworth said: “I am satisfied so that I am sure that Michael Dempsey was not acting in self-defence; he was joining in an ugly, brute attack.”
CCTV footage showed Kyle Dempsey kicking the victim twice.
The judge said: “Kyle Dempsey was not defending himself; he was out of control and, in his words, had lost it.”
The violence was only stopped when the police arrived.
By then, Mr Jarvis was covered in blood and appeared to be dazed, the court heard.
He had suffered a broken nose, a chipped tooth, a cut to the head and bruised ribs.
Judge Unsworth said: “In my judgement, this was a determined, sustained and joint attack on a doorman who was doing no more than trying to preserve public order and the safety of those in the club.”
Mr Jarvis said in a victim personal statement to the court that he had lost a night’s pay from his work as a door supervisor and had to take a week off work from his day job as a care home maintenance manager.
He also said a statement which had been issued by Kyle Dempsey’s club had “altered the truth” of what happened and threw suspicion onto him.
Mr Jarvis said he had suffered weeks of headaches as a result of the “multiple assaults”.
He added: “The case should have been completed quickly at the magistrates court if they had had the decency to admit what they had done.”
He described the father and son as “mindless thugs”.
Mr Jarvis added: “I am grateful to the police officers who pulled them off me; if they had carried on my injuries could have been significantly worse and I might not even be here today.”
Acting for both defendants, Lisa Judge described Michael Dempsey as a “loving, kind, family man,” saying he had wept when he was told that his conviction might prevent him in the future from being a youth rugby coach.
She said that when Michael had seen the CCTV footage, there had been “unequivocal horror” in his expression.
The barrister said he had expressed not only remorse, but “insightful remorse”.
Miss Judge said that Kyle Dempsey had also expressed genuine remorse and he had also reacted with horror when he was shown the video footage.
She told the court: “He is an individual who engages in charitable acts and works with youths at grass roots level… He is worried that parents will think he is a poor role model.

“His concern is about parents and others. At his level and age, within a professional football career, any period of imprisonment will wreck that life for him.”
Judge Unsworth warned both men the face possible jail sentence and will pass sentence later today.

I’m UK’s most notorious football hooligan – but I went from fighting on terraces to bestselling author & cult movie icon

A MAN who was once one of the UK’s most notorious football hooligans turned his life around to become a bestselling author and cult movie star.Carlton Leach, 64, built up an infamous reputation for fighting on the terraces at West Ham in the 1980s and ’90s, but now leads a life far away from crime.
Carlton has left the world of gangs and football hooliganism far behind himCredit: Twitter/Carlton Leach
Carlton Leach gave up his criminal life in 1995 after his friends were killed in a drug-related shooting
Leach, who was born in Canning Town, East London, got involved in crime at an early age, after joining the brutal Inter City Firm (ICF), who follow West Ham FC, known as the Hammers.
The gang got its moniker from using InterCity trains to travel to away matches and start fights with the opposition’s fans.
The ICF became notorious for leaving a business card on the bodies of those they attacked that read: “Congratulations, you’ve just met the ICF.”
While he was a part of the gang, Leach met drug dealers Tony Tucker, Craig Rolfe, and Pat Tate.

The four men later became members of the notorious Essex Boys gang which sparked a savage drug war in the 1990s.
Leach was one of Britain’s most feared faces during his 20-year career as a criminal.
However, he decided to turn his back on a life of crime after three of his best friends and gang mates were murdered in a drug-related shooting.
Tucker, Rolfe, and Tate were all shot during the 1995 Range Rover shooting.

The three drug dealers were shot in their car on a small farm track in Rettendon, Essex.
Leach started telling his story in the hope it would deter others from following in his criminal footsteps.
In 2003, he wrote his first autobiography called “Muscle” about his experiences as a criminal.
The ex-footie thug then wrote his second memoir in 2009, titled, “Rise of the Footsoldier: In My Game, the Choice Is a Jail or a Grave,” which detailed his stories of violence, gang crime, and the loss of his best friend.
In October 2021, Leach released his final, bestselling autobiography, entitled, Carlton: The Final Say.
The book details his early and criminal life, as well as the two most recent decades of his life since.
His first memoir was turned into a film in 2007, entitled, Rise Of The Footsoldier by Bafta-award nominated director Julian Gilbey.
It starred actor Ricci Harnett, who played Leach.

The British crime and gangster film grossed £220,868 and had a second part made in 2015, that followed Leach in the aftermath of the Rettendon murders.
The 64-year-old also inspired the 2015 film, Essex Boys: Law of Survival, which detailed the Essex boys gang and Range Rover murders of 1995.

I was one of the UK’s most feared football hooligans… but now I’m a movie producer and worked with an Oscar winner

A FORMER football hooligan has revealed his radical life change from prison time to movie production and working with an Oscar winner.Cass Pennant, 65, ran one of the most feared firms in the country before a spell in prison prompted him to turn his life around.

Cass, born Carol Pennant in Doncaster, Yorkshire, endured a tough childhood after being abandoned by his parents and fostered by a couple in London.
He has said that he was “bullied from day one” as he was the only black kid in his area, forcing him to grow up tough.
The 6ft 4in man mountain, whose nickname was inspired by Muhammad Ali’s real name Cassius Clay, co-founded the Inter City Firm (ICF), the hooligan group associated with West Ham United throughout the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s.
His love for the club was sparked as a youngster when a neighbour with a season ticket invited him to a game.

The gang terrorised Upton Park across two decades, being involved in countless battles with other major firms.
As dramatised in the 2007 film Rise of the Footsoldier, the ICF were known to leave calling cards on their victims’ battered bodies reading: “Congratulations, you have just met the ICF”.
Cass went through two stints in jail, both for hooliganism-related offences, and was even shot three times amid a feud with a rival gang.
It was during his time inside that he decided to get his life back on the rails, and he retired from terrace violence in 2002 and penned an autobiography.

At the very start of the book he wrote: “I’ve been involved in more violence than most people will experience in a hundred lifetimes.
“My favourite weapons were my fists, the axe and Uncle Stan – my trusty Stanley knife.”
This prompted a series of books documenting life as a hardcore hooligan, as well as an appearance on Danny Dyer’s Bravo doc Real Football Factories.
The 2008 film ‘Cass’ told the story of his life, and even saw future Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya play a teenage Cass, while the man himself made a cameo as a bouncer.
Cass has since gone on to work in the film industry as a producer and actor, as well as visiting schools and prisons to help prevent young people getting involved in violent crime.
In 2015, he told The Evening Standard: “Everyone has more than one path in their life.
“I am proof that you can turn your life around.
“I never preach or tell people not to do certain things – it doesn’t work. I just tell them my story and how I tried to make sense of my life through writing books in prison and how that then led to where I am now. I want to open doors for them and open their eyes.”
Cass has previously cited lifelong Hammers fan and British film star Ray Winstone as a major influence on him.
He told Hammers News: “One of the most famous actors I can think of that’s a true Hammer is Ray Winstone. Like most of us, I’m a big fan of all his work and always thought he would have been a great fit for the Cass film.”
The pair even met several times to discuss a role for Winstone, but his other acting commitments meant he wasn’t able to join the cast.
Cass added: “He was only interested in helping a fellow Hammer who was now making headlines for all the right reasons.
