James shared a number of CCTV clips of the shocking burglary, showing four suspects walking up the driveway of his home and shining torches into the house.
One video shows the group struggling to open the electric gates to the property as they lift a huge safe out of the house and roll it across the driveway.
The Chelsea defender shared the clips outside his home as he appealed for fans to help “identify and turn in these low life individuals”.
He added: “I hope together we can catch these individuals and deliver justice where it is due.”
James confirmed in a statement on Instagram he wasn’t at home at the time and he is “safe and well”.
He said he was devastated by the theft of the medals, but added: “These medals were won representing Chelsea and England – honours that can never be taken away from me whether or not I have the physical medals to prove it.

“Nevertheless, I am appealing to all my Chelsea and England fans to help identify and turn in these low life individuals who will never be able to rest easy as the evidence is mounting against them.
“The police, my advisers and Chelsea FC (and many others) are all behind me as we have firm leads on who the perpetrators are.
“We are closing in on them. Luckily, no one was present during the break in but I want to let all of you know I am safe and well.
“I really do appreciate having the platform to tell you all about my misfortune and I hope together we can catch these individuals and deliver justice where it is due.”
It comes after charity gifts were stolen from James’ car while he was serving food to hungry children in December last year.
He had returned to his car after the Felix Project event to find the window of his vehicle had been smashed.
The footballer posted a picture of the damage on his Instagram account, with the caption: “Another rewarding experience with the Felix Project today serving meals to the younger generation.
“Hopefully we spread some joy ahead of a challenging Christmas period.
“Unfortunately, I was met with huge disappointment when returning to my car. During the event, someone felt the need to break in and steal gifts that I was due to go and donate later in the day.”

Second man charged in Benjamin Mendy rape investigation after Man City ace appeared in court

A SECOND man has been charged with a series of rape offences alongside Benjamin Mendy. The Manchester City left-back, 27, appeared in court in late August charged with sex attacks on three women.
A second man has been charged in connection with the Benjamin Mendy sex assault allegationsCredit: PA
One of the alleged assaults is said to have happened days before he appeared in the dock.
Now Louis Saha Matturie, 40, has appeared before magistrates in Chester after he was this weekend charged with four rapes.
Matturie, who is originally from Sierra Leone and was described in court as Mendy’s “runner”, was arrested last month – shortly after the footballer’s first appearance.
The defendant, who wept during proceedings, spoke only to confirm his name and address.
His lawyer submitted a bail application – but it was rejected and Matturie was remanded into custody.
A Chesire Police spokesman said: “The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised Cheshire Constabulary to charge a second man in connection with allegations of sexual assault.
“Louis Saha Matturie, aged 40, has been charged with four counts of rape.
“The charges relate to three complainants over the age of 16 and are alleged to have taken place between April 2021 and August 2021.

“Matturie, of Eccles, has been remanded in custody.”
He will appear alongside Mendy at Chester Crown Court on Friday.
The French World Cup winner was arrested after a 17-year-old girl alleged she had been sexually abused at his £5m mansion this August.
Mendy, 27, was immediately suspended by Manchester City after he was then charged with four counts of rape and one sexual assault.
The charges, alleged to have taken place between October 2020 and August 2021, relate to three complainants.
Mendy appeared in court on August 27.
The court was told he allegedly raped a teen during a party at his home.
The alleged offence took place while Mendy was already on bail.
    PAIR IN THE DOCK
He is accused of raping a woman last October, as well as a sexual assault in January.
The football ace showed no emotion as he was remanded in custody following the hearing.
Hours after his appearance in court, Cheshire Constabulary said a second man has been quizzed by detectives.
Cops said a 40-year-old man was being held “in connection to an ongoing investigation into sexual offences”.
French international Mendy was arrested last November at his £5million home in Prestbury, Cheshire.
He was then released pending further investigation before being re-arrested and charged last month.
Mendy, who earns £90,000 a week, has been remanded in custody.
    RAPE CHARGES
He arrived at court in a prison van with a police escort on August 27.
The player, who wore a red hoodie and black jogging bottoms, spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
In a statement, the club said: “Manchester City can confirm that following his being charged by police today, Benjamin Mendy has been suspended pending an investigation.
“The matter is subject to a legal process and the club is therefore unable to make further comment until that process is complete.”
Premier League champions Man City spent a reported £49.2million signing Mendy from French side Monaco in 2017.
He last played for the club on August 15 during their 1-0 defeat to Tottenham at the start of the season.
In September last year City boss Pep Guardiola revealed Mendy would be out of the game for at least a month due to an injury.

Lando Norris mugging: Man, 24, arrested after McLaren F1 star mugged for £40k watch at Wembley as cops release pics

A 24-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after F1 driver Lando Norris had his £40,000 watch stolen as he left the Euro 2020 final at Wembley. The Bristol-born racer, 21, was left “shaken” after his watch, one of only a small number in circulation, was taken.

Met police confirmed that on Sunday a 24-year-old man was arrested in Liverpool on suspicion of robbery.
He has been bailed to return on a date in mid-August.
And cops have now released an appeal for information over the stolen watch — sharing more images of the timepiece in the hopes someone with information will step forward.
While it has not been confirmed which watch was stolen, Lando is often seen wearing Richard Mille timepieces, reports watchcollectinglifestyle.com.
One of them is reportedly the RM 67-02 Automatic Winding Extra Flat.
Met Police said a 21-year-old, believed to be Norris, had left the stadium and returned to his car which was parked in the yellow car park in nearby Rutherford Way.
In a statement, cops said: “He was approached by two men who engaged him in conversation.
“A short time later he was assaulted and held by one of the men while his watch was removed from his wrist.
“The victim was understandably shaken but did not sustain any lasting injuries.”
The suspects had already left by the time police arrived, the statement added.
Scotland Yard have appealed for witnesses, in particular one person who claimed to have captured the incident on their dashcam but left before giving police his details.
Detectives are “very keen” to speak to the person and obtain any footage.

A statement from Formula One last week said: “McLaren Racing can confirm that Lando Norris was involved in an incident, after the Euro 2020 final match at Wembley, during which the watch he was wearing was taken.
“Thankfully, Lando was unharmed but he is understandably shaken. The team is supporting Lando and we are sure that racing fans will join us in wishing him all the best for the British Grand Prix this weekend.
“As this is now a police matter we cannot comment further.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has been approached with a view to buying the watch should call the investigation team on 0777 667 3655 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
