Man Utd and Chelsea have not made transfer bids for West Ham star Declan Rice as David Moyes issues hands-off warning

DAVID MOYES has issued a hands-off warning as Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly eye-up a move for Declan Rice.
Neither side has yet made a bid but are said to be interested in the England international.

The 22-year-old, who can play in midfield or defence, has continued to impress this season having scored his first England goal against Iceland in November.
He has attracted interest from Chelsea and United – but Moyes revealed neither have firmed that up with a formal offer.
Chelsea released the player in 2014 and will have to pay a significant amount of money if they wish to re-sign him.
United are reportedly preparing to rival the Blues in a £70million transfer battle.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is thought to want a defensive midfielder and a centre-back in the summer.
But Rice remains a key part of Moyes’ team having played in all 38 Premier League games last season.
The London club have enjoyed an excellent start to the season, winning eight Premier League games – the same amount as Chelsea.
Moyes said: “They’re not true [rumours of a bid], we’ve had no contact from either of those clubs regarding Declan and we wouldn’t want any anyway.

“He’s doing great for us, he’s a big leader now, he’s taken a lot of the weight off Mark Noble. He’s turning out to be a really good player but also a really good boy and good around the club.”

Rather than sell, West Ham are looking to invest in their squad.
The Hammers have reportedly made contact with Reims over striker Boulaye Dia, who has scored 12 times this season in France’s Ligue 1.
They are also said to be interested in Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson, with Manuel Lanzini potentially going the other way in a swap deal.

Chelsea’s longest serving player Lucas Piazon completes transfer to Sporting Braga EIGHT YEARS after last Blues game

CHELSEA’S longest serving player Lucas Piazon has joined Sporting Braga, EIGHT years after his last Blues game.
Portuguese side Braga confirmed the signing on Thursday with the attacking midfielder penning a deal until 2025.

Braga announced the arrival of Lucas Piazon onlineCredit: Twitter @SCBragaOficial

The 26-year-old leaves Stamford Bridge for good after three first-team outings, seven loan spells and a broken leg.
He had spent the last 18 months on loan at Portuguese outfit Rio Ave but now becomes Braga’s seventh signing of the season.
It ends a decade on the books in West London for the Brazilian after arriving from Sao Paolo in 2011.
He impressed immediately within Cobham’s fabled youth set-up, breaking into Andre Villas-Boas’ Chelsea first team less than a year later.

After a couple of sightings on the Blues’ bench during his first season, Piazon made his debut in September 2012 aged 18.
He stared a 6-0 League Cup romp over Wolves and even provided an assist for Ryan Bertrand.
An appearance in the next round against Manchester United followed, as did a Premier League debut that December in an 8-0 win over Aston Villa, with things looking promising for the youngster.
But upon signing for Malaga on loan in January 2013, Piazon would never feature for Chelsea again.

After 14 goalless appearances for the LaLiga side, Piazon was soon heading to Chelsea feeder side Vitesse.
He bagged 11 goals and eight assists in 31 appearances for Eredivisie side, but that wasn’t enough to get him back in the Blues’ plans.
A year in German football followed with Eintracht Frankfurt before he found himself playing in West London again… but for rivals Fulham – via a season at Reading.
In two years at Craven Cottage, Piazon helped Slavisa Jokanovic’s men back into the Premier League.
In the first half of the 2018-19 season Piazon returned to Chelsea, and remarkably was included on Maurizio Sarri’s bench for the League Cup semi-final second leg triumph against Tottenham – before being loaned to Chievo just a week later.

Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori eyed by AC Milan in loan transfer as Frank Lampard hints defender could head out

CHELSEA defender Fikayo Tomori is reportedly being eyed by Italian giants AC Milan.
The 23-year-old is well down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, with boss Frank Lampard prepared to let him leave on loan.

And according to Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Milan have ‘contacted Chelsea’ and the player ‘would accept’ the move.
But Tomori is seemingly second-choice for the Rossoneri with Strasbourg’s Mohamed Simakan top of their list.
Lampard is keen for Tomori to head out to get some first-team action.
The 15-cap England U21 international has made just four appearances this season – the latest being a 10-minute cameo in the FA Cup win over Morecambe.

A string of Premier League clubs, including Leeds and Newcastle, are reportedly interested.
Lampard said: “The situation with Fikayo is open at the moment.
“There is a possibility he could be going on loan to get games somewhere else. So that would have to be the solution for him and the club. That was part of my thinking of not starting him today.
“I gave him some minutes at the end but while we were looking at that I wanted to make sure it was the right thing for the club and for him and individually. So that’s why he didn’t start.

“But his attitude, even though he hasn’t played much recently, has been fantastic in training and in how he is.”
Tomori was a key part of Lampard’s Derby team in the 2018/19 Championship campaign.
He snubbed a move to West Ham on summer transfer deadline day to fight for a spot at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea refusing to let Ross Barkley leave on permanent transfer to Aston Villa on cheap after successful loan spell

CHELSEA are poised to play hardball with Aston Villa over any potential transfer for midfielder Ross Barkley.
The 27-year-old hit some fine form following a loan switch before he was ruled out with a hamstring injury.

And according to Birmingham Live, Chelsea aren’t willing to let Barkley leave on the cheap’.
Barkley still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his £100,000-plus weekly wage.
Stamford Bridge boss Frank Lampard is understood to have been impressed with the midfielder’s form on loan at Villa Park this season.

And the Blues manager, 42, is reported to have been in touch with the player to congratulate him on the quality of his performances.
Barkley had opted for a September move from West London in a bid to boost his England selection chances ahead of the Euros next year.
And with the summer arrivals of Kai Havertz and Hakim Zayech, first team starts for the midfield star looked like they could potentially be limited.
But many of Chelsea’s acquisitions from their £200million summer splurge have struggled for form leading to increasing pressure on Lampard.

And that could mean Barkley is handed a Stamford Bridge lifeline.

Chelsea are still being linked with a move for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.
And the Blues might have been give a boost in their transfer pursuit.
He has reportedly told his friends he does not want to leave London for Manchester – ruling out a move to United.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Dec has been flattered by interest in him but he doesn’t see himself moving to Manchester.
“It’s obvious where he’d like his next move to be.”

Chelsea set to REJECT Fikayo Tomori loan transfer offers amid Leeds interest as Andreas Christensen suffers knee injury

FIKAYO TOMORI’S hopes of a loan move away from Chelsea look to have been scuppered by a knee injury suffered by Andreas Christensen.
Tomori had been hoping to secure a temporary deal this month after finding his first team chances limited at Stamford Bridge this season.

But centre-back Christensen has undergone scans on the injury suffered in the draw with Aston Villa.
And the club fear that will leave him sidelined for a period.
That leaves Chelsea boss Frank Lampard short of defensive options.
And Tomori is now seen as needed in the first team squad for the foreseeable future.

Newcastle had shown an interest in taking the 23-year-old on loan until the end of the season.
And Leeds have also been linked with Marcelo Bielsa seeing key defenders ruled out through injury.
But if Christensen is ruled out for several weeks, Lampard would need the England star to provide cover for the hectic period of games over the coming month.
Veteran Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma are the first choice pairing in the middle of defence.

And aside from Tomori, only Toni Rudiger is the other recognised central defender who would be available.
Cesar Azpilicueta could also play as a makeshift centre-back.
But with Reece James currently injured, he is needed to fill in at right back.

How Chelsea could line up under Thomas Tuchel with Mbappe and Icardi as axed PSG boss is lined up to replace Lampard

THOMAS TUCHEL has admitted he’s ‘interested’ in taking over at Chelsea after being sacked by Paris Saint-Germain with Frank Lampard under increasing pressure.
The German boss, 47, led his former side to a 4-0 win over Strasbourg just before Christmas to put the club just one point off the top spot in Ligue 1.

But PSG chiefs still swung the axe, only confirming Tuchel’s departure FIVE DAYS later.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss has already been linked with a return to management.
Frank Lampard is under increasing scrutiny at Chelsea after a string of poor results.
The ex-Derby chief is under mounting pressure following an alarming dip in form, most-recently in the 3-1 thumping against Manchester City.

SunSport understands he is in no immediate danger of being sacked.
But the sudden availability of Tuchel has put Stamford Bridge chiefs on alert with a view to a possible change in the summer if results do not improve.
Last week, Tuchel revealed he is ‘interested’ in taking over at Stamford Bridge, too.

Should the German take over in West London, he could bring a few old favourites with him.

    TUCHEL’S TOP 10 PSG SIGNINGS

    Kylian Mbappe – Monaco – £162million
    Mauro Icardi – Inter Milan – £52m
    Leandro Paredes – Zenit – £40m
    Thilo Kehrer – Schalke – £33m
    Idrissa Gueye – Everton – £30m
    Abdou Diallo – Borussia Dortmund – £29m
    Pablo Sarabia – Sevilla – £16m
    Keylor Navas – Real Madrid – £13.5m
    Sergio Rico – Sevilla – £5.5m
    Juan Bernat – Bayern Munich – £4.5m

Kylian Mbappe is one player who could complete a shock move to Chelsea.
Tuchel first brought Mbappe to PSG from Monaco in a £162million move in 2018.
The France superstar, 22, is yet to sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes, with PSG chiefs getting twitchy.
Mbappe has never hidden his desire to play for boyhood club Real Madrid.
But with Los Blancos struggling financially due to the coronavirus pandemic, he may be forced to head elsewhere.
After all, PSG are being linked with a free move for unsettled Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, who is able to sign pre-contract terms with clubs from this Friday.
With Neymar playing a huge role in Messi’s decision, it could be PSG opt to cash-in on Mbappe to fund a deal for the Argentine, who earns around £900,000 a week at the Nou Camp.
Timo Werner has struggled early in his Chelsea career and Tuchel could look for some elite back-up to ease the German in.

Marco Verratti could help rejuvenate the Chelsea midfield under TuchelCredit: Reuters
Mauro Icardi could be the man Tuchel turns to, with the Argentine another of his signings in May of this year following a loan spell.
Icardi has played just five times for PSG this season and has long been linked with a move to Chelsea.
Elsewhere, Tuchel will likely realise the need for some more creative talent in midfield, with Marco Verratti another player long linked with a PSG exit.
Idrissa Gueye is another former PSG signing of Tuchel’s, with the midfielder’s Premier League experience at Everton invaluable.
In defence, Thiago Silva – formerly of PSG – has formed a superb partnership in the heart of defence with Kurt Zouma.
But Chelsea will soon have to look to the long-term, with Thilo Kehrer a potential target after Tuchel signed the defender from Schalke in 2018.

Chelsea and Man Utd transfer blow as Real Madrid ‘win race’ to sign Alaba with Bayern star available for free in summer

REAL MADRID have beaten off their competition to sign David Alaba because Barcelona cannot afford him, reports say.
The Bayern Munich defender is available on a free transfer this summer, sparking interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Barca.

LaLiga champions Madrid have won the race to sign him, according to Marca,
It is understood the Austrian’s agent offered his services to several top clubs.
Barcelona were keen on the 28-year-old but have reportedly pulled out the race because they cannot afford his wages.
Alaba is after a four-year deal worth around £9million-per-year and the Catalans realised they cannot afford that as a result of the financial implications of coronavirus.

Barca’s income is said to have dropped by £231m in 2020 which will see them pursue Manchester City’s Eric Garcia instead.
Alaba will leave Bayern Munich in the summer after he refused to extend his contract.
He has made 19 appearances so far this season, but mostly at centre-back.
It comes as he lost his traditional left-back role to rising star Alphonso Davies, 20.

But Alaba is equally capable playing centrally, in midfield or defence.
The defender has scored 32 goals and provided 49 assists for Bayern since being promoted to the first-team in 2010.
Chairman and chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admitted the club tried their best to extend Alaba’s stay.
Speaking in December, he said: “Bayern did everything we could to try and reach an agreement.
“We had a lot of conversations, but we wanted answers from him by the end of October.
“This didn’t happen and I don’t know if we’ll return to the negotiations.
“What I want to be clear about is that our offer showed exactly how much we value him.
“But he didn’t accept it. He’s free to speak to whoever he wants from January 1.”

Chelsea transfer plans for January revealed as Frank Lampard eyes Declan Rice and free move for David Alaba

CHELSEA are eyeing a host of January transfers including Declan Rice and David Alaba, according to reports.
The Blues spent more than any other Premier League club in the summer transfer window at a staggering £220m.

Frank Lampard welcomed the likes of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz on big-money deals in the previous window.
But with Chelsea’s form indifferent throughout the 2020-21 season, Lampard is considering a host of new signings in January in a bid to finish the season strongly.
Above all others, West Ham star Declan Rice, 21, is the top target, claim Goal.
Chelsea appeared to be in for their former academy product in the summer, but a move failed to materialise.

Despite playing mostly in midfield for both the Hammers and England, Lampard sees Rice as his centre-back partner for Kurt Zouma in the long run.
With an incredible array of attacking talent on his books, Lampard is set to focus on the back-four in January.
Thiago Silva, 36, has impressed in his debut season in England but isn’t a long-term option.

Antonio Rudiger has long been linked with a move away, with the German and fellow defender Andreas Christensen out of contract at the end of next season.

And Brighton star Ben White – also wanted by Liverpool – is right up there on the Blues boss’ wishlist.
Meanwhile, Chelsea could make a move for wantaway Bayern Munich star David Alaba.
The Austrian legend, 28, is set to leave the Bundesliga giants after more than a decade of service after failing to agree terms on a new contract.
Alaba is now able to negotiate pre-contract terms with clubs ahead of a free transfer, with Chelsea and Liverpool again both keen.
Lampard is also believed to be monitoring Jadon Sancho’s situation.

Sancho, 20, was at the heart of a tug of war between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United in the summer.
Dortmund were clear in their demands: £108million by August 10 and he was free to leave.
However, United missed the deadline and then attempted to bid under the asking price as they failed to land their top target.
Sancho is still widely expected to join United at some stage in 2021.
But reports claim Chelsea are now considering an audacious swoop for the Londoner.
