      CHELSEA face further rejection with transfer target Presnel Kimpembe reportedly deciding to stay at PSG this summer.PSG were said to be open to selling the 26-year-old this summer, with the Ligue 1 winners wanting £42million for his services.

      Kimbembe also suggested he would be open to a move, stating in an interview with RMC Sport: “I’m waiting to meet with the new management with regard to the club’s project. We’ll have to speak very soon.”
      The French international added: “I think it’s legitimate to ask my club about the future project and what role I am going to be given.”
      Chelsea and at least one other club have reportedly had bids rejected by the French side.

      Chelsea blow as Barcelona ‘increasingly confident’ of completing £55m Jules Kounde transfer after hijacking Blues’ deal

      CHELSEA have been hit with more bad news in their pursuit of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.For a long time the Blues seemed to be the clear frontrunners to snap up the French international this summer.
      Kounde looks set to complete a move to Barcelona this summer
      But now Barcelona have entered the fray as they look to hijack Chelsea’s £55million deal.
      And according to Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan giants believe they are closing in on sealing Kounde.

      The news comes after Romano confirmed on Monday that positive talks were held between Kounde and Barcelona.

      Mukiele’s signing is the latest disappointment for Chelsea, with reports over the weekend Barcelona had agreed a £51m deal with Sevilla for long-term target Jules Kounde.

      Speaking after putting pen to paper with the French giants, Mukiele said it was a “dream” to be heading back to Paris after a four-year spell with Leipzig.

      A new FIFA rule that came into effect at the beginning of July means clubs are no longer able to have more than eight players over the age of 21 out on loan at once.
      Clubs will also be unable to loan in more eight players at once.
      The rule could have major implications for teams across Europe and how they develop young talent.
      It is expected to be a particular problem for Chelsea, who have become reliant on the loan market to develop players before selling them on for big money.
