      He also believes this will help him break into Gareth Southgate’s England squad ahead of the Qatar World Cup, which kicks off in November.
      That is according to The Athletic, who also claim that Chelsea are prepared to launch a £60million offer for Gordon.
      The Blues are set to submit an official bid worth £50m PLUS up to £10m in add-ons.
      Thomas Tuchel is hoping that this will be Chelsea’s fifth and final offer for the England U21 international.

      The West London side are understood to have already had four bids rejected.
      Their most recent offer of £45m was swiftly knocked back by Everton last week as the Toffees demanded at least £50m.
      Gordon dropped a huge hint on Monday suggesting that he could be set to leave Goodison Park before the transfer window shuts next month.
      Fans were quick to notice that he had removed all Everton links from his Instagram bio.

      Blues boss Thomas Tuchel coached Auba at Dortmund and is looking for a designated striker to lead his front line.
      Romelu Lukaku, 29, is currently on loan at Inter Milan and 20-year-old rookie Armando Broja injured.
      Sunday’s 3-0 defeat at Leeds has crystallised the need for more bodies to help Chelsea compete for the title this season after they dropped five points in the last two matches.
      Tuchel believes he can get the best out of the wayward star who had his contract cancelled  by Arsenal in January.

      The new  offer includes around £3.5m in add-ons.
      Barcelona boss Xavi is having to be convinced to let Aubameyang go but seems to be coming round slowly to the idea.
      And the player is more accepting of a move back to the Prem as he will not be first-choice striker.
      Robert Lewandowski arrived for £42.5m at the Nou Camp from Bayern Munich, and recently scored twice against Real Sociedad.

      CHELSEA are considering a shock move for former striker Alvaro Morata, Spanish media say. Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is looking for a frontman before the transfer window shuts on September 1.

      Already Romelu Lukaku, 29, has returned to Inter Milan on loan, only a year after his record £97.5million move from Italy.
      And Timo Werner, 26, has also re-signed for RB Leipzig on a permanent deal, leaving Chelsea lacking firepower.
      Raheem Sterling, 27, was signed early on in the summer but no direct replacement for Lukaku has been sourced.
      According to Sport, Chelsea have identified ex-player Morata, 29, as an option.

      Arsenal’s old captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 33, remains Tuchel’s No1 priority following talks with Barcelona.
      And the two clubs are close to striking an agreement for the forward, Sky Sports reported.
      Tuchel managed Aubameyang at Borussia Dortmund and remains a fan of the player, with personal terms believed to be no problem.
      It is claimed the two clubs are locked in advanced talks for a deal of between £15m and £25m.

      Chelsea had grown frustrated and were preparing to focus on other targets, including Morata.
      The Spaniard arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2017 for £60m but struggled during his two seasons in England.
      Morata left after just 24 goals in 72 games for Atletico Madrid in 2019 on an 18-month loan and later signed for £58m.
      The striker later joined Juventus, six years after leaving the club, on a two-year loan, but this season returned to Atletico.
      Morata scored twice in his first start of the season but remains linked with a move away and his valuation is believed to be £21m.

      Frank Lampard’s side are determined to hold on to their prized player and insisted they will not welcome any more bids.
      Everton have already waved away verbal offers from both Tottenham and Newcastle.
      Gordon, 21, who has three years left on his current contract, had indicated he was prepared to move to London to play for either Spurs or Chelsea.

      Since making the transfer to West London back in 2020 for a fee of £36million, Ziyech has scored 14 goals in 84 matches.
      At the Eredivisie champions his record is much improved netting 49 goals and registering 81 assists in 165 games.
      The Moroccan was a fan’s favourite at Ajax winning a league title and a domestic cup while also playing an integral role in the club’s run to the Champions League semi-final in 2019.

      With the Amsterdam based side ready to let Antony go to Manchester United their could be a spot in the side for Ziyech.
      AC Milan also reportedly have an interest in him as did United due to Erik ten Hag working with Ziyech before but it appears they are now prioritising other targets.
      Thomas Tuchel has splashed the cash this summer and the extra attacking addition of Raheem Sterling will further restrict Ziyech’s opportunities.
      Chelsea need to offload players though and are looking to get rid of the likes of Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi too.
