Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly swung the axe after watching his club fall to a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in Europe.
The brutal sacking came despite Chelsea splashing £254million on some of Europe’s top talent over the summer.
Tuchel was replaced by Graham Potter, who left his post at Brighton to fill the vacant managerial role at Stamford Bridge.
And to make things worse for Tuchel, he may be booted out of the country too due to Brexit rules, The Telegraph reports.

Chelsea ‘consider recalling Callum Hudson-Odoi from Bayer Leverkusen loan transfer early with Graham Potter a huge fan’

CHELSEA are considering recalling Callum Hudson-Odoi from his loan. The 21-year-old joined Bayer Leverkusen for the season at the transfer deadline.

The summer arrivals of Raheem Sterling, Carney Chukwuemeka and Marc Cucurella hindered his chances of game time on the left-hand side.
And he was allowed to leave for the Bundesliga.
But it appears that new owner Todd Boehly and recently named gaffer Graham Potter agree that the Englishman should be back at Stamford Bridge.
According to German news outlet BILD, one of Potter’s first acts in the January window could be to recall Hudson-Odoi.

The London-born winger has a recall clause in his loan deal that Chelsea could trigger.
The forward recently revealed he’d spoken to Boehly about being part of his plans in West London.
He said: “When a club is trying to get a player on loan, they always want that option to buy at the end of the season.
“Todd was saying: ‘Listen, we want you back here.’

“You’re still on the radar of being wanted by the club. The way he’s trying to set it up, there are a lot of young players he’s trying to buy for the next few years.
“It shows he wants to integrate the players into the team and help them develop.”
Hudson-Odoi has started to become a regular at Leverkusen under Gerardo Seoane and has one assist in five games so far.
Speaking to The Mail about his Chelsea departure, he said: “It was one of those difficult moments when you look at yourself and say, ‘What am I doing wrong? Have I done anything wrong to not even be in the squad?’
“I would never say anything bad about Thomas, he was a good guy, a good manager. But the first game of the season, it was frustrating. Any footballer that isn’t in the squad would understand how frustrating it is.
“You don’t want to be on the bench thinking, ‘Why am I not playing?’, then it becomes weeks and weeks and the legs are rusty when you do play. The most important thing is consistent football. That’s what I’m getting here and it’s making me feel better.” More

Dembele, 25, was a major target for new Blues owner Todd Boehly after his Barcelona contract expired.
Chelsea were keen on signing the winger on a free transfer as part of their new-look squad.
But Dembele eventually stayed put at cash-strapped Barcelona, penning a two-year deal until 2024.
The France international has started the new season well, scoring twice and laying on two assists in just six matches.

And it’s reckoned Boehly remain interested in a deal as soon as next summer.
Now, L’Equipe claims a move could be on the cards after a secret bargain release clause was included in Dembele’s Barcelona renewal.
It’s believed an offer of £44m will trigger the clause when it becomes active in 2023.
Barca apparently agreed to the sum as Dembele and his representatives did NOT receive a signing-on bonus when penning the new contract.

The move was a goodwill sign from the forward amid Barca’s financial problems.
But L’Equipe add Dembele will receive a whopping FIFTY per cent of the transfer fee should his release clause be triggered – amounting to a cool £22m.
It now remains to be seen if Chelsea do indeed go back in for Dembele.
That’s because admirer Thomas Tuchel is no longer in charge.
Instead, Graham Potter is at the helm at Stamford Bridge.

Gvardiol, 20, was reportedly the subject of a £77million bid from the Blues late in the transfer window.
Then-boss Thomas Tuchel wanted to secure Gvardiol’s signature ahead of Man City before loaning him back to Leipzig for the season.
However, Chelsea’s mammoth offer for the centre-back was rejected.
And Gvardiol appeared to deal a massive blow to his suitors by then extending his Leipzig contract until 2027.

But new boss Graham Potter is thought to be an admirer, and owner Todd Boehly is ready to go back for Gvardiol as he looks to land football’s best youngsters.
The Croatia international himself has now opened the door for a move to Stamford Bridge as early as January.
Yet Gvardiol adds he is also more than happy to remain in Germany should no offers arise.
He said: “I am happy at Leipzig, I still have a lot to learn and need to work on myself.

“I have people who deal with it, I didn’t think about a transfer. We’ll see what happens in the winter.”
It’s not the first time this month Gvardiol has said he’s pleased to still be at Leipzig.
After signing his deal in the wake of Chelsea’s rejected bid, the defender beamed: “I’m very happy to have extended the contract early until 2027, because I still want to achieve a lot with RB Leipzig.
“I feel the club’s confidence to continue my development. We’re in the Champions League again, won the DFB Cup last year and want to play for titles again this year.
“I am very grateful to those responsible at the club that they plan long-term with me and want to continue on this successful path with me.” More

Aubameyang can be first Chelsea player since Costa to score 20 Prem goals in a season insists Blues legend Hasselbaink

JIMMY FLOYD HASSELBAINK reckons Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang can hit 20 goals this season despite Chelsea’s early season struggles. But the Blues striking legend says Auba will only be a stop-gap solution because of his age and new boss Graham Potter must start planning ahead.

Aubameyang signed on transfer deadline day and is yet to score a goal.
There has also been upheaval at Stamford Bridge, with head coach Thomas Tuchel – the Gabon striker’s former mentor – getting sacked.
Hasselbaink, 50, who racked up 70 Premier League goals in 136 games for Chelsea, said: “Aubameyang did really well at Barcelona. He was scoring goals. It’s a good signing for the next two years.
“I don’t think that it is a four or five-year signing. It’s a two-year signing. I think he will score goals; he knows where the back of the net is.

“He did sign for Chelsea because Tuchel was there but as a footballer it happens that managers come and go. His career will keep on going and he needs to produce like any other player.. and I don’t think that is a problem.
“Aubameyang can score 20 plus goals. Have they got a squad to go and become champions? Not yet.
“Have they got a squad to get in the top four and compete for an FA Cup, or get far in the Champions League? Yes.
“Are they going to win the Champions League? They’re not favourites, I don’t think that they are. But a successful season would be finishing in the top four and winning a cup this year.

“I think he’s going to embrace it and I think Potter will embrace him as well. I don’t see any problem really.
“He has only played two matches. He has not hit the back of the net yet but that will come. you don’t become a bad player overnight.”
Aubameyang, 33, replaces flop Romelu Lukaku who is back on loan at Inter Milan after just one season at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have a chequered history with strikers – German Timo Werner also could not settle in England and is back in the Bundesliga after two seasons.
The last Blues player to hit 20 Prem goals in a campaign was Diego Costa in 2016-17.
Hasselbaink – who managed the feat twice – told SafeBettingSites: “He will score as he is different to Lukaku, he is different to Werner. They’re different kinds of players. He’s better in small areas.

“Is his movement going to improve? Yeah, I think the sharper he is going to become the sharper his movement is going to be.

Willian says snubbing Tottenham for Chelsea was ‘best decision of my career’ as he recalls last-minute transfer hijack

WILLIAN has called his decision to snub a move to Tottenham as the “best decision of my career”.In the summer 2013 the Brazilian was completing a medical at Spurs and on the verge of signing for them when a call came in from Chelsea.

The Brazilian is now back in the Premier League with FulhamCredit: Getty
In an interview with The Athletic he remembers: “Chelsea came on the day I was going to sign the contract with Spurs. I was at Tottenham’s training ground to finalise the deal when the call came.
“I said, ‘OK, I want to go there!’”
The Brazil international moved to Stamford Bridge from Anzhi Makhachkala for a fee in the region of £30million on a five-year deal.
Having already left Tottenham in the lurch, the skilful winger would add salt to Daniel Levy and Spurs’ wounds when he set up John Terry’s goal in a 2-0 victory over them in the 2015 EFL Cup final.

The 34-year-old enjoyed a fruitful spell at Stamford Bridge picking up five major honours, two of which were Premier League titles.
It’s a time he recounts with joy: “I only wanted to go there. It was the best decision of my career!”
Willian swapped south-west London for the red side of the capital when he joined Arsenal in 2020.
But his time with the Gunners was fruitless and faltering, it was a complete contrast to his time at Chelsea and one goal in 37 games summarised that.

Willian cites the lack of connection with the club – with his time there coinciding with team’s playing behind closed doors – as a possible reason for his struggles.
He said: “I have to feel good, to feel motivated to go to training. I wasn’t having that there so I decided to leave.
“I didn’t see Arsenal fans. Maybe I needed to feel the buzz of the crowd, it was something I missed.”
His Arsenal career was cut short after a single season, but after a period in Brazil, Willian made a shock return to London on deadline day to sign with newly promoted Fulham.   More

Following a poor start to the Premier League campaign, a Champions League defeat at Dinamo Zagreb a fortnight ago proved to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Graham Potter was quickly named as Tuchel’s replacement at Stamford Bridge but the latter is already being linked with a fast return to the dug-out with Bayern Munich.
However, for the time being at least, the 49-year-old seems happy to remain living in the capital after a photo emerged of him posing with a supporter yesterday.
An Instagram account named @KarimZahlann shared the photo, with several other Chelsea accounts claiming that the individual was a Blues fan and thanked him for his work at the club before asking for a snap.

Speculation is mounting that former Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain boss Tuchel could be set to replace Bayern Munich’s Julien Nagelsmann.
The German champions have suffered a bizarre run of form that sees them go into the international break fifth in the Bundesliga table, five points off the top.

Their wobble descended into a major blip as they fell to a shock defeat at FC Augsburg over the weekend to extend their winless run in the top-flight to four matches.
Tuchel has impressed across Europe since leaving Dortmund in 2017.
