    Barcelona fear transfer for Aubameyang from Chelsea will be blocked due to ‘Dani Ceballos rule’

    BARCELONA are reportedly looking into the possibility of re-signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Chelsea.The 33-year-old has endured a miserable spell at Stamford Bridge since arriving from the Nou Camp in September.

    And Barca are keen on bringing Aubameyang BACK to the club already.
    However, the La Liga side fear they are legally unable to re-sign him, according to the Telegraph.
    They are said to be looking into whether they are legally allowed to pursue a move for the out of favour striker.
    Fifa rules say Aubameyang can only play for Chelsea or Barcelona this season.

    But four years ago Dani Ceballos tried to move back to Real Betis on loan from Real Madrid in January, having only swapped Betis for the Bernabeu a matter of months previously.
    However, Article 126.5 of the Spanish FA’s rulebook says players who have had their licence cancelled can’t get a new one of the same club in the same season.
    Aubameyang played once for Barca this season before joining Chelsea.
    So the club are fearful he legally won’t be able to play for them again this campaign.

    ‘Our hearts are broken’ – Chelsea pay tribute to Vialli as emotional former players pay respects at Stamford Bridge

    CHELSEA paid an emotional tribute to club legend Gianluca Vialli before Sunday’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.Vialli died aged 58 last week following a long battle with pancreatic cancer and players from the past and present joined the fans in saying farewell.

    The legendary striker spent three years with the Blues and was appointed as player manager just a year before his retirement in 1998 and remained in charge until 2000.
    Fans unfurled huge banners of the Italian great around the stands while a number of supporters chanted his name.
    Graham Potter’s men wore a special “Vialli 9” training kit during warm up and wore black armbands in the game, which they won 1-0 thanks to Kai Havertz’s winner.
    The two teams and some of the Chelsea hero’s former team-mates, such as John Terry, Mark Hughes, Graeme Le Saux and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, lined up on the pitch to pay tribute.

    A video tribute to Vialli was shown on the big screens, in which fellow legends shared some touching words.
    Le Saux said: “From the day you stepped through the door you set the standard at this club and captured our hearts.
    “Dreams came true under your management and you achieved your dream of becoming a Chelsea legend.
    “But above all Luca, you were a wonderful man. Charming, respectful, determined. You had a heart of gold that touched so many.

    “Now our hearts are broken, but how lucky we were to have known you. Luca, we love you and we miss you.”
    Fans also laid flowers outside the stadium ahead of kick-off and were joined by club legend Terry, who broke down in tears while paying his respects.
    Vialli handed the legendary defender his debut before he went on to make 717 appearances for Chelsea.
    Terry posted on Instagram: “Paying my respects to Luca at Stamford Bridge.

    The discussion continued while Boehly was listed as a “listener” which left fans online stunned.

    Another said: “Can’t believe Todd Boehly was in a twitter space and our fanbase just start listing off the players they want over the next two transfer windows.

    It then juggled the ball on its head before it dropped to the floor, with its amazing dribbling skills then being showcased.
    And fans posted some hilarious reaction to the clip.
    One user wrote: “Someone show this to (Todd) Boehly.”

    With the arrival of the 22-year-old, the Blues have now brought five players in January, including Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos and loanee Joao Felix, who has cost the club a cool £10m loan fee.

    Chelsea ‘DOUBLED Arsenal’s £50k-a-week wages offer to Mudryk’ after hijacking transfer for Gunners’ No1 target

    CHELSEA successfully hijacked Arsenal’s move for Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk – doubling the Gunners’ wage offer for the winger in the process. The Blues agreed a deal worth a whopping £97million to sign the 22-year-old from Shakhtar Donetsk.

    Mudryk was presented to the Chelsea faithful at half-time of today’s clash against Crystal Palace after the transfer was confirmed during the game.
    But the exciting forward had previously hinted that he wanted to join Arsenal.
    However, the Blues more than DOUBLED the wage offered to Mudryk by the Gunners, according to the Independent.
    Arsenal pulled out of a deal when Shakhtar started driving the price higher amid interest from Chelsea.

    Before that Mudryk was offered personal terms worth £50,000-a-week from the Emirates outfit.
    However, he will now reportedly earn over £100,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge – more than twice what Arsenal were offering.
    It is understood Chelsea will pay £62m up front, with up to £35m in performance-related add-ons, taking the potential total to an eye-watering £97m.
    He penned a eight-and-a-half year deal with the Blues.

    Started the second half well, feeding a good ball into Havertz, who then sent a shot straight at the keeper.
    Continued to buzz around and get stuck in.

    Showed some good work down the channel with Hall, but ultimately struggled to make an impact.
    Was taken off just after the hour mark and replaced by Aubameyang.

    Had an effort tipped over the bar just before the referee brought the opening 45 to a close.
    Got the assist for Havertz’s opener with a wicked cross into Palace’s box.
    Kai Havertz – 6
    Had a golden opportunity to head Chelsea ahead on the half-hour mark, but his effort landed on the roof of the net.
    Opened the scoring with a well placed header after 60 minutes.
    Mason Mount – 5
    The England international struggled to get into the game but stayed on the pitch until the end.
    Rather low energy, the opposite of what is expected from him.

    Arsenal had been leading the race to sign Mudryk but refused to meet Shakhtar Donetsk’s asking price.
    They rejected two bids from the Gunners before agreeing a deal with Chelsea, leading one fan to poke fun at Gooner Woods.
    The supporter lorded Mudryk’s capture over the talkSPORT presenter and suggested it was a sign Chelsea are a bigger club than Arsenal.
    Woods replied saying: “No that’s called cash. But bless you.”
