    Chelsea ready to make huge new transfer bid for Caicedo after raking in over £100m selling Havertz, Koulibaly and others

    CHELSEA are reportedly readying a massive bid for Moises Caicedo after racking up the necessary cash through sales.The Blues are said to have had a £60million bid rejected for the Brighton midfielder earlier this month, but are now interested in launching an improved offer.

    According to The Mail Online, Chelsea are planning on placing a new and improved bid for Caicedo who is valued at over £80million by The Seagulls.
    News of the new bid comes following a flurry of exits from Stamford Bridge that have raked in a reported £107million.
    The London club are rumoured to be close to selling Kai Havertz to Arsenal as well as seeing Kalidou Koulibaly, Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy move to the Saudi Pro League.
    The addition of Caicedo would also happen in the midst of a mass exodus from the centre of midfield at Chelsea.

    New boss Mauricio Pochettino could be will be without Mason Mount who is said to be nearing a move to Manchester United as well as Mateo Kovacic who is looking close to signing for Manchester City.
    Pochettino will also have to make do without N’Golo Kante who has now completed his move to Al-Ittihad after seven years in West London.
    Caicedo would slot into the gaps made by those leaving the club and would be a potential partner for record signing Enzo Fernandez who joined the project in January for £106million.
    Pochettino is set to start his new role as Chelsea boss on July 1 with a lot of work to do following their dismal campaign last season.

    Todd Boehly ‘ALREADY lines up Chelsea star for transfer to Strasbourg just hours after buying Ligue 1 club’

    TODD BOEHLY has wasted no time in ringing the changes as new owner of Ligue 1 club Strasbourg.His takeover of the French club was confirmed yesterday, with Boehly acquiring near to 100 per cent of the French club for £65million.

    The takeover was opposed by Strasbourg fans, with ultras gathering outside the stadium with banners saying “Boehly not welcome!”.
    But according to reports, Chelsea will already begin shifting players between Strasbourg and themselves as part of Chelsea’s new multi-club model.
    The club have sought to emulate Manchester City’s City Football Group model which has a portfolio of 13 clubs.
    According to Fabrizio Romano, the first player that Chelsea will send Strasbourg’s way is David Datro Fofana.

    Fofana was signed in January from Norwegian side Molde FK for £11million after contributing 15 goals and five assists in 24 Eliteserien matches.
    The forward made three appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea as well as playing 44 minutes in the FA Cup.
    Chelsea were actively looking to loan Fofana already this summer and Boehly’s takeover of Strasbourg offers a convenient landing spot for the striker.
    Chelsea are in the process of trimming a bloated squad as they prepare for new head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival.

    Chelsea ‘AGREE Nicolas Jackson transfer with striker to become Pochettino’s 2nd signing after £30m offer is accepted’

    And according to Fabrizio Romano, a medical is being scheduled ahead of his move to Stamford Bridge.
    Chelsea are understood to have paid a little more than the release clause in his Villarreal contract.
    The transfer fee will be paid in instalments.
    He joins as Mauricio Pochettino’s second signing of the window after Ecuadorian Kendry Paez penned a deal to move from Independiente del Valle.

    Christopher Nkunku officially came in from RB Leipzig earlier this week, but a deal had been sealed months ago before Pochettino came in.
    Jackson’s arrival in West London comes after he enjoyed a sensational end to the campaign for the LaLiga side.
    He scored a superb nine goals in his final eight league matches.
    Across the 2022/23 campaign, he registered 13 goals and five assists in 38 appearances.

    Jackson plays as a central striker for Villarreal – a position Chelsea have been keen to recruit for over the past few months.

    And Chelsea are keen to offload Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian, 30, scored 15 goals in 59 appearances during his first season back at the Bridge after a brilliant spell in Serie A with Inter Milan.
    He was then loaned back out to Inter where he netted 14 times last season.
    Inter are keen to extend his loan into the 2023/24 campaign, but face competition from local rivals AC Milan – who are eyeing a permanent transfer.

    Premier League send letter to Chelsea to demand clarity over Saudi links after slew of big-money transfer exits

    THE PREMIER LEAGUE reportedly requested written confirmation from Chelsea that there was no Saudi Arabian links to their ownership. Chelsea have come under fire in recent days after a flurry of their players were linked with big-money moves to the Saudi league.

    According to The Telegraph the Premier League were looking for assurances that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) was not in any way part of Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s takeover of Chelsea.
    The Saudi PIF already owns Newcastle United and concerns have grown over their potential involvement in The Blues.
    However it is reported that the Premier League are completely satisfied there is no conflict of interest issues involving Chelsea and and PIF.
    PIF have previously invested in Clearlake, but it has been reported that this investment was extensively investigated during the initial takeover and no issues were discovered.

    Chelsea have spent a record £585million on 16 new players since Boehly took over and there has been question marks over their ability to rebalance the books to avoid Financial Fair Play sanctions.

    MANCHESTER UNITED have moved a step nearer to signing Mason Mount after coming close to agreeing a transfer fee with Chelsea. United have already had two bids for the England international turned down worth up to £45million plus add ons.

    But according to The Mirror, Chelsea are ready to settle at £60m to ensure Mount gets his move.
    The Blues initially wanted £70million for their two-time player of the year and academy graduate.
    But with Mount no closer to agreeing an extension on his contract that expires next summer, Chelsea have been forced to compromise.
    The 24-year-old has 33 goals in his 195 appearances since breaking into the Blues’ first team in 2019.

    And he would leave Stamford Bridge with a Champions League winners medal to his name.
    But following inconsistent runs in the squad last season and a failure to sign a new deal, the player looks destined to leave.

    Morata would be set to earn a massive wage if he was to sign for the Saudi club.
    According to The Daily Mail, the striker would earn £40m-a-year which translates to £923,000-a-week.

    Aged 30, he is not over the hill, and started for Spain in their Nations League final victory over Croatia on Sunday.

    He experienced a disappointing return this season, scoring just 13 times and contributing two assists during 36 LaLiga games.

    Morata’s departure to the Saudi league would see him follow in the footsteps of a number of Chelsea stars set to swap West London for the Middle East.
