Navas joined Steve Cooper’s side on loan in January having lost his place in the Paris Saint-Germain starting XI to Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The 36-year-old has made 17 appearances and played a huge role in Forest’s successful Premier League survival bid.
And, according to Foot Mercato, the Costa Rica international would like to extend his stay in England once his temporary deal ends.
The reports adds that his high salary and ambitions mean he is unlikely to return to Forest.
