Scott McTominay lined up for shock Premier League transfer switch to Man Utd rivals in move that would help Chelsea

And the midfielder is said to be being eyed up by Italian giants Roma and last season’s surprise Premier League package Brighton.
That’s according to CBS, who claim the midfielder could potentially look to depart Old Trafford in the coming weeks to secure more playing time.
It’s claimed that former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is “tracking the situation with McTominay.”
Brighton are said to have earmarked the 26-year-old as a potential replacement for Moises Caicedo, who is a target for Chelsea.

It’s unknown if Ten Hag will allow the Scot to leave the Theatre of Dreams.
The Dutchman is said to rate McTominay very highly, although it’s claimed he could potentially deem him to be “surplus to requirements” if the right offer comes in.
McTominay made 39 appearances in all competitions in Ten Hag’s maiden campaign at the Old Trafford helm, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
United academy graduate McTominay has thoroughly enjoyed playing under the former Ajax gaffer, saying: “Obviously, the transition in terms of his style is very, very different to some other coaches.
