CHELSEA ace Hakim Ziyech announced his international retirement from the Morocco national team for the second time with a fiery statement.Ziyech confirmed that he was pre-selected for Vahid Halilhodzic’s squad but grew tired by the team’s leadership spreading “misinformation” about him and his commitment to his country.

So the winger decided to put an end to his international career and stated that he is now full focused on the Blues.
Ziyech posted on Instagram: “I love my country and playing for the Moroccan national football team has been the honour of my lifetime.
“So it is with great sadness that I must announce that although the FRMF President today confirmed that I will be pre-selected for the team, I won’t be returning to play for Morocco.
“I’m sorry to disappoint the fans, this was not an easy decision to make, but sadly I feel I have no other choice.

The Bosnian manager declared the 28-year-old wouldn’t be selected for the national team ‘even if his name was Lionel Messi’.
The former Paris Saint-Germain boss previously accused the Moroccan of feigning injury in order to avoid playing in friendly matches last summer – an accusation Ziyech denied.
The Chelsea star hasn’t played for his country since June and was left out of the Africa Cup of Nations squad, which made it to the quarter-finals before being dumped out by Mohamed Salah’s Egypt.

Speaking ahead of the clash at Stamford Bridge, the ex-Bournemouth man declared how the German is ‘someone you hate on the pitch’.
Wilson played against the former Roma centre-back in October’s 3-0 defeat against the West London outfit.
And he has opened up on just how hard it is to get past Rudiger as he heaped praise on the Chelsea ace.

Chelsea are now banned from all transfer activity – including offering players new contracts – with Abramovich unable to cash-in on the club.
The Blues are also barred from selling tickets and flogging merchandise – and are only able to make money from food and drink on home match days.
There have also been reports that Chelsea will not be able to afford a private jet and may have to travel to Lille on a budget airline.
It has been claimed they have been set a £20,000 per-match limit for spending for away games – meaning they will have to ditch the luxuries.

Despite the club being financially in limbo, Tuchel has revealed he is not concerned about the football side of things.
When asked if he was worried about getting to Wednesday’s Champions League clash in Lille, Tuchel said: “Honestly, we love football, so if we have a plane, we’ll go by plane.

Cech is now a technical advisor at the club and puts the success of the Abramovich era down to hard work by people at the club, rather than money.
He spoke about Chelsea’s situation in regard to a possible takeover ahead of the Blues’ 1-0 win over Newcastle.
Cech told Sky Sports: “Chelsea Football Club has 107 years of history and obviously have had a lot of success, with that coming down to the hard work and dedication of the people who have worked for the club since it was founded and have been on this journey of success.

CHELSEA left it late to beat Newcastle at Stamford Bridge as Kai Havertz scored a stunning strike in the 89th minute.The Germany international poked the ball home after a fantastic touch inside the box to end the Magpies’ nine-game unbeaten run.

But he was lucky to even be on the pitch after escaping a red card for an elbow on Dan Burn.
Havertz was shown just a yellow card after smashing into Burn’s head, with VAR deeming it as not worthy of a red.
The result is harsh on Newcastle who had a number of chances and were denied a penalty in the second half after Jacob Murphy went down in the box.
It is now five Premier League wins in a row for Chelsea who have solidified third spot in the table.

FANS were left furious after Newcastle were denied a penalty in the second-half of their clash at Chelsea.Shortly before the hour-mark at Stamford Bridge, Jacob Murphy danced past Trevoh Chalobah and raced towards Edouard Mendy in the Blues goal.

Having been beaten all ends up, Chalobah grabbed a huge chunk of Murphy’s shirt and appeared to wrestle him to the ground.
The referee failed to point to the spot, with Murphy and his Newcastle team-mates incensed.
The incident was given the once over by VAR – with match officials incredibly refusing to award the penalty, suggesting it was not a ‘clear and obvious error’.
