Chelsea’s Dembele hunt takes turn
Chelsea are in danger of missing out on Ousmane Dembele.
That’s because Barcelona have reportedly scheduled a meeting with his agent next week.

Gary Cahill believes Chelsea would win the title every year if they were able to field 11 Cesar Azpilicueta’s.

Asked about whether he’d do it again, Tuchel said: “I will not tell you (if Kepa is brought on). I have an opinion about it, but I will not tell you.”
On whether his side have been practicing for a potential shoot-out, the Chelsea boss said: “Practising, I’m a bit torn in between if you can practise it and how much to practise it.
“My players shoot a lot of penalties during a season, I have to say – on an almost daily basis.”

“We can play both, although they lacked a bit of the feeling of being a perfect fit together.

The Chelsea manager has spoken once again on the Romelu Lukaku scandal.
The German has said regarding the rumours his agent wants a meeting with the Chelsea hierarchy: “I think if he plans to talk with the owner, maybe it is not his plan to talk with me. It’s fair enough. Let’s see if he gets a meeting. It is his right. We will talk to anybody.
“We will evaluate any situation of any player, including Romelu. We will see what is going to happen and what the plans are.”
When asked about if he has concerns about the media noise regarding Lukaku ahead of such a big game, Tuchel responded: “I was only made aware of it five or ten minutes ago, actually. It’s what sometimes happens in football.
“The attention is so high that sometimes it attracts situations that you don’t want to have before big matches. It’s the way it is.
“For me, it is not a distraction and hopefully, for everybody that works on the team and the team itself, it is not.”

Tuchel on Kovacic’s fitness
Mateo Kovacic sustained an injury versus Leeds earlier this week.
Thomas Tuchel has provided an update on his fitness.
He said, “It’s pretty surprising to be in the situation where we can try, and Mateo wants to try it – and the medical department gave the green light to try it.
“The ‘advantage’ is the ligament is torn already from the last incident (in the FA Cup semi-final), so there is no new injury, just heavy pain. His ankle was heavily swollen.
“We are hoping that maybe time is enough for him to make it. We will try in two-and-a-half hours in training, and we will know more about it.”

Silva wants staff to let his wife wear Chelsea kit
Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva has recalled when his wife was not allowed to wear the team’s shirt during the Carabao Cup final saying it left her upset.
In the VIP area at Wembley you are not allowed to wear a football shirt.
Silva told The Telegraph: “It wasn’t that she didn’t want to wear the shirt, it was because when she was getting her pass to get into the VIP zone, and they weren’t allowing family members to wear club colours.
“She was upset because she wasn’t able to wear it.
“She always wears my shirt, above all for finals. She wore it in the Champions League final and other competitions, the Club World Cup
“So hopefully there will be no problem this time and no kind of rules on what they can and can’t wear.
“It just shows passion and football is about passion. Hopefully she will be able to wear the shirt and it will bring us luck.’

So this is a chance, not just to win another leg of the Quadruple but to right one of his few wrongs.
For Chelsea, the exit of Roman Abramovich has engulfed their season in sanctions and uncertainty.

EMMA HAYES has been given a massive fitness boost with Fran Kirby available for inclusion in her FA Cup final squad on Sunday.And the Chelsea boss revealed she met incoming Blues owner Todd Boehly for lunch.

CHELSEA have agreed a free transfer for Ivan Perisic, according to reports.It is said the Croatian winger only needs to complete his medical and sign the contract before he will become a Blues player.

According to Sports Mediaset in Italy, the deal is all in place between the player and his new club and ready to be completed.
Perisic, 33, becomes a free agent at the end of the season when his Inter Milan contract expires.
He has failed to arrange an extension at the San Siro.
The World Cup finalist reportedly wanted a new three-year deal worth just shy of £100,000 per week.

CHELSEA have turned their attention to PSV Eindhoven star Ibrahim Sangare after being put off by West Ham’s asking price for Declan Rice, reports suggest.According to the Daily Mirror, the Blues are not willing to meet the Hammers’ staggering £150million demands to bring Rice back to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Therefore, they have turned their attention to other attractive and cheaper options, such as Sangare who has impressed in the Eredivisie and Europa Conference League this season.
The midfielder costs much less than Rice as PSV would be willing to let him go for £30m.

Kerr added: “We respect City a lot but we’re even more pumped than we were (last Sunday).
“We have, probably for me, the best mentality in the league.
“We were chasing (the title) this year and then once we got ahead no one was going to get it off us.
“We went down to 10 players in that game against Tottenham.
“But in our changing room, it was just calmness, no one was stressed. I’ve never been a part of a team like this.

The Spaniard decided to remain coy as he feared a ban but couldn’t hide his frustrations towards match official Paul Tierney.
Arteta said: “Well if I say what I think then I’m suspended for six months. So I cannot say.
“I’m allowed to give my interpretation of what happened in the game but I don’t know how to lie, and I don’t like lying… so I prefer not to say what I think.”

Jose Mourinho
Former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is famous for his post-match interviews as he never holds back.
Except one time during the disastrous 2015-2016 season, which saw his second stint at Stamford Bridge end in tears.
Mourinho saw the West Londoners lose 3-1 to Liverpool at home and the Portuguese tactician shockingly had “nothing to say” in one of many tantrums.
The current Roma boss said: “I have nothing to say. Nothing, nothing. Nothing to say.”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola also doesn’t shy away from showing frustration, especially after a bad result.
But he never flew off the handle more than he did in 2011 after then Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho got under his skin.
The then Barcelona boss lashed out at Mourinho following some comments he made in a profanity-laden tirade ahead of an all-Spanish Champions League semi-final.
Guardiola said: “He can do or say whatever he wants. In this room Mourinho is the f*****g chief, the f*****g boss. I don’t have to compete with him in here.”

Jurgen Klopp
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not in the best of moods after a poor result.
That showed last year after a 4-1 loss to Manchester City when a journalist asked him about the gap with City in the Premier League table.
A furious Klopp responded: “I really think you should prepare for your job a little bit better, to be honest. How can you ask – they are 13 points away, in my understanding – and this question about becoming champions…
“Do you really think that’s an appropriate question at the moment? You have only two questions and you waste one for that? Your fault. You had only two questions; you had only two questions… You wasted it.”

Rafa Benitez
In today’s society where populism and fake news are more common than we would hope it is always important to look back at the facts.
But former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez may have given too much thought on facts in 2009 when talking about his Manchester United counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson.
Benitez said: “I was surprised by what has been said, but maybe they [United] are nervous because we are at the top of the table.
“But I want to talk about facts. I want to be clear, I do not want to play mind games too early, although they seem to want to start. But I have seen some facts. On 1 November, they played Hull and Mr Ferguson had a two-match touchline ban and a £10,000 fine after confronting Mike Dean, the referee, for improper conduct.”
Benitez’s rant went on and the former Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton boss mentioned that word at least six times.

Antonio Conte
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is also never afraid to say what’s on his mind.
Conte is making a strong case for a top-four finish this season, especially after Spurs’ victory over rivals Arsenal, but his short stint in North London hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing.
The Italian underwent a poor run earlier in the campaign and felt so deflated he even questioned his ability to lead Tottenham.
Conte said after February’s loss to Burnley: “Maybe I’m not so good. Tottenham called me to improve the situation but I’m too honest.”

Kevin Keegan
Kevin Keegan’s outburst is perhaps the most famous and popular managerial rant in Premier League history.
It was back in 1996 when legendary Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson claimed teams tried harder against his side than Keegan’s Newcastle.
The former England manager then came unglued, and we all loved it.
Keegan said: “We have not resorted to that, but I’ll tell you, you can tell him now if you’re watching it, we’re still fighting for this title, and he’s got to go to Middlesbrough and get something, and… and… I’ll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them, love it!”

Nigel Pearson was feeling the heat in 2015 as he was trying to save Leicester from relegation.
But his focus quickly switched to ostriches – out of all things – when he hit back at a question referring to previous criticism he has received.
Pearson said: “If you don’t know the answer to that question then I think you are an ostrich. Your head must be in the sand.
“Is your head in the sand? Are you flexible enough to get your head in the sand? My suspicion would be no.”
