JUDE BELLINGHAM continues to star for Borussia Dortmund and has now played 87 times for the Germans despite being aged just 18.
As previously reported in this column, the England international has little interest in returning to his home country this summer because he is loving life in the Bundesliga.
Equally, it looks as though he could soon be joined by brother Jobe.
Aged just 16, he has played twice for Birmingham and can play in both midfield and attack. Dortmund are interested in bringing him over as well.

WELL done to Colchester United. They have left open their justgiving.com page to raise as much money as possible for the British Red Cross in Ukraine.
The U’s reduced their ticket prices for their League Two game with Forest Green last month to £10 and gave all the cash to help the humanitarian aid efforts.
More than 6,000 fans turned up to the fixture and the money has kept on trickling in — and nearly £70,000 has been raised so far, through donations to the club, ticket sales and the JustGiving page.
But what a shame no other football club, particularly those who could afford it in the Premier League, have bothered doing something similar.

That was before he left Kenilworth Road for an ill-fated stint at Stoke – during which time the Bedfordshire outfit he departed sealed a second-straight promotion.
18 months later he was back at Luton and is now leading the Championship’s fifth-placed side to a surprise push for Premier League promotion.
His efforts were recognised at Sunday’s English Football League awards ceremony when he picked up the manager of the season accolade.

While Jones was recognised, not a single one of his players made it into the team of the year.
However, Jones was not that bothered by that.

The Championship club slapped in their claim during the recent Court of Arbitration for Sport appeal hearing into whether they should pay Nantes the £15m transfer fee.
The Welsh club have used the 2007 Carlos Tevez case – when West Ham broke the rules of third-party player ownership.
Sheffield United then argued they should have been deducted points instead of a record fine — and that the Blades should not have been relegated.
The Yorkshire club settled for £26.5m. But, including around £20m in parachute payments, Cardiff’s claim amounts to £80m.

Ironically, Neil Warnock was the manager 15 years ago when Sheffield United were relegated, although he quit Cardiff just before they went down in 2019.
Cardiff hold the French club responsible for Sala’s death because agent Willie McKay acted on their behalf and organised the plane for Sala that crashed into the English Channel more than three years ago.
Warnock was convinced just a few goals from Sala would have been sufficient to have kept them up — and that they could not have bought an alternative striker as the window had shut by the time of the tragedy.
Cardiff always maintained the Prem deemed the contract “illegal” based on the structure of upfront signing-on payments, which Nantes had insisted upon, and which the Welsh club had warned them would not pass scrutiny.

Argentine Sala was not eligible to play in the Premier League at the time he boarded the flight.
Cardiff asked CAS to adjudicate, in the same way that the Tevez case ended up with a tribunal rather than — as first threatened — the civil High Court.
Nantes vehemently objected to CAS making any such ruling, with Cardiff suggesting offsetting any award on the £15m transfer fee against the £80m compensation claim.
The precedent, on which Cardiff are basing their claims, goes back to 2007 when Sheffield United sued West Ham over the cost of relegation.
The Blades, and several other Prem clubs, believed the Hammers should have been deducted points for breaking rules on third-party ownership over their two Argentinian signings, Tevez and Javier Mascherano.
Instead, West Ham were fined a record £5.5m.
Cardiff believe they have a powerful case and a chance of success — most likely in the French courts — if they fail to get what they believe to be justice from the CAS hearing.

BARNSLEY manager Poya Asbaghi has left the club following relegation to League One.The Tykes announced Asbaghi left by mutual consent after overseeing 28 games, winning just five.

Asbaghi said in a short statement: “I want to thank everybody at Oakwell for their time and efforts over the last months, this of course includes players, fans and staff.

WAYNE ROONEY turned down the chance to be one of Erik ten Hag’s coaches at Manchester United, according to reports.Instead the Red Devils legend would only leave Derby to take on another No1 position.

FABRIZIO RAVANELLI is backing Middlesbrough to earn promotion to the Premier League – and will be there to cheer them on. The Italian, 53, is a cult hero on Teesside following his brief stint with the club.

Chris Wilder’s side sit ninth in the Championship table, three points off the final play-off spot but with a game in hand on the three teams above them.
They have failed to win – or even score in any – of their last four.
But with home fixtures against Cardiff and Stoke sandwiched between Saturday’s trip to Swansea and Preston away on the final day, Ravanelli believes Middlesbrough can be back in the top tier next season for the first time since 2017.
The 53-year-old told SunSport: “Fingers crossed. I truly hope they will be able to get promoted to the Premier League this summer.

But despite reaching the FA Cup final, the league form was not good enough to keep Bryan Robson’s team up and he joined Marseille early in the 1997-98 campaign.
