      There was plenty of reason for the jubilation – despite a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on the night at the Parc des Princes.
      PSG may be wondering how they didn’t score in their home stadium with ten attempts – including two with which Neymar struck the woodwork.
      The result ensured a 3-3 aggregate score, with PSG’s treble in Munich securing their passage on away goals and burying the demons from the 2020 final.
      Neymar, Mbappe and their PSG pals kept their celebrations respectfully muted on the pitch after the full-time whistle.
      But behind closed doors, there was nothing holding them back.
      Owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo congratulated the players as they made their way through the tunnel back to the changing room – complete with plenty of roars and high-fiving.
      Inspirational captain Marquinhos, who scored then limped off in the first leg, was unable to play on Tuesday night.
      But he ensured he would not miss out on the scenes while Leandro Paredes went round kissing Ander Herrera and Keylor Navas on the head.

      Then star-man Mbappe took over leading the party by getting up on the table surrounded by players, coaches and support staff who emptied water bottles over him.
      Mbappe shared a stunning photo with Kimpembe, still wearing their boots, mid-jumping with water flying around them and pure joy on their faces.
      Rafinha added one of the Brazilian boys, posing for the cameras with Neymar and Marquinhos.

      And PSG fans had even more reason to celebrate when Neymar committed his future to the club before Al-Khelaifi assured supporters the £198million man and Mbappe ‘have no excuse to leave’.
      The world’s most expensive footballer told TNT Sports Brazil: “I don’t think this is even a topic anymore, I obviously feel very comfortable, at home at PSG.
      “I feel happier than before.”

      Manager Mauricio Pochettino was not at the thick of the chaotic scenes in the dressing room – but was no doubt ready for a lie down after a stressful 90 minutes masterminding his side’s progress.
      He said: “When you are on the touchline, really close to the pitch, it is not easy to enjoy it but I try.
      “Every time, I am calm outside – but inside you have the stress of the competition. That is the adrenaline that we love to feel, but tonight was a fantastic game.
      “I missed this adrenaline when I was at home. This is the greatest club competition, so obviously I was nervous. On the inside, I was boiling over.
      “I’m happy for the players, the staff and the club – for the president and Leonardo as well. It’s nice to share this moment of happiness together.”

      Neymar commits future to PSG as club vow to spend big to keep Brazilian AND Kylian Mbappe

      NEYMAR is finally set to sign a new contract at PSG after committing his future to the club.The Brazilian forward said he feels ‘at home’ in the French capital and will extend his stay.

      Neymar, 29, has just one year left on his £600,000-a-week contract and been linked with a move back to Spain.
      But, speaking after the Champions League win over Bayern Munich, Neymar said his contract is no longer an issue.
      He told TNT Sports Brazil: “I don’t think this is even a topic anymore, I obviously feel very comfortable, at home at PSG.
      “I feel happier than before.”
      The Brazil striker helped his side beat last year’s Champions League winners Bayern on away goals.
      Last season’s beaten finalists have set up a semi-final date with either Manchester City or Borussia Dortmund.
      And club president Nasser Al Khelaifi promised even more investment as well as keeping hold of Neymar’s strike partner Kylian Mbappe.

      The French forward is wanted by Real Madrid in a blockbuster summer move.
      But Al Khelaifi told RMC Sport: “We have invested a lot in the club to win the Champions’ League and all the trophies available.

      “We have a great team today. We have respect for the others but we are there with them.
      “We are working. And it is not over. We need to continue, to remain calm because the Champions’ League is not finished.

      THOMAS TUCHEL was accused of insulting the Porto coach as he led Chelsea into the Champions League last-four. Sergio Conceicao pointed the finger at the Blues boss after their clubs’ quarter-final second leg in Seville, claiming: “I was insulted by this gentleman who was next door.

      The pair clashed during the game after Porto had a penalty claim turned down.
      But Conceicao insisted afterwards: “It wasn’t like that, but it’s over.”
      It might not be the end of the matter, though, as the Portugues admitted: “I told the referee that the fourth referee heard the insults.”

      Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel admitted that he got “nervous” after Mehdi Taremi’s screamer.
      Tuchel added that Mateo Kovacic got injured before the game and will miss Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City, which is why he had to risk with N’Golo Kante.
      Tuchel said: “I was still nervous because a goal can change anything, even if it is a crazy goal or bicycle kick like this, it can happen.
      “I can imagine both games were not the nicest games to watch on television, I can totally accept, but it is very hard to play your best game against Porto.
      “He [Kovacic] had a little injury out of nothing. I am sure he is out for the City game as well, very sad for him.
      “We took the risk with N’Golo, maybe not a risk but the situation. We put him on the field and hoped he had the energy for 90 minutes.
      “N’Golo is incredible, he is like one-and-a-half or two players, everyone loves him. He wins so many balls, gives everybody confidence. We were not sure if N’Golo would have started today but now it is time to recover good”

      There was a bit of drama on the pitch following the referee’s whistle.
      A video and a number of pictures have emerged showing Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and Porto manager Sergio Conceicao exchanging heated words after the Blues’ coach reportedly said something towards the Dragons’ bench.
      There was also a confrontation between Antonio Rudiger as well as Pepe and Agustin Marchesin but Porto sporting director Luis Goncalves separated them.

      Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is pleased with his players’ performance, despite the loss, and claims they deserved a clean sheet.
      Tuchel told BT Sport: “It was a tough fight. Maybe not nice to watch on the television. It was very hard to play against them, very hard to escape the pressure. They are aggressive and attack in an aggressive way. They overlap, underlap, you have to adapt to many movements.
      “With every minute we adapted better and better. We defended very well, deserved a clean sheet and had the better chances, not a lot. But we couldn’t finish them off. Overall, we deserved to beat Porto.
      “Porto is a team that can make other teams underperform. It happened to Man City in the group stage and Juventus. So you have to accept things are very hard.
      “Part of performances is to not let the other team perform and we did that today. Lucky shot in the last minute but we did not concede chances.
      “I like it in Champions League not to play in teams from your own league, it gives the feeling more of a European competition. The game is far from over and I will watch it for sure. It’s a pleasure to watch it as a semi-finalist. It’s a great achievement and tomorrow we will watch the game. Everything is possible. We will take what we get”

      Chelsea are through to the Champions League semi-finals thanks to a 2-1 aggregate over Porto.
      The Blues are now set to face off against either Real Madrid or Premier League rivals Liverpool in the next round.
      Real and the Reds lock horns tomorrow at Anfield with the reigning LaLiga champions leading 3-1 on aggregate.
      Zinedine Zidane’s men won last week thanks to Vinicius Junior’s brace and Marco Asensio’s finish, but the reigning Premier League champions got an away goal with Mohamed Salah

      NEYMAR did absolutely everything but score in a memorable performance against Bayern Munich.The brilliant Brazilian regularly delved into his bag of tricks at the Parc des Princes as Paris Saint-Germain progressed to the Champions League semi-finals, despite a 1-0 loss on the night.

      Never more so than when he made Kingsley Coman look silly before hitting the bar in a pulsating first half.
      After 36 minutes of Tuesday’s clash, Neymar picked up a clearance and skipped around Coman to forge one of his many chances.
      But his finishing was just off as he curled an effort around his marker and hit the bar.
      And Neymar would hit the woodwork again only moments later as PSG chased a vital goal to build on their 3-2 first-leg lead.
      Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting went on to score the only goal of the game but holders Bayern crashed out on away goals.
      Both teams missed a number of opportunities in a thrilling end-to-end clash with Neymar coming close again in the second period, sliding in but unable to get a toe to Angel Di Maria’s cross with the goal gaping.
      Nobody had more shots on the night than the 29-year-old’s six, three of which were on target.

      He also led his team for key passes (three), touches (85), fouls won (seven), and passes in the opposition half (28).
      It earned the striker the official Man of the Match award, following on from Kylian Mbappe’s gong in the first leg.
      Neymar rued the misses after the final whistle but pointed out that PSG’s away goals victory was more important.
      He told RMC Sport, via GFFN: “All those missed chances… I was missing by so little.

      We are also a great team and showed it tonight. We have eliminated the European champions.Neymar

      “The most important thing is that I am very happy that we have qualified. PSG is a great team, now we must focus on the semi-finals.”
      He added: “I am very happy, despite the defeat.
      “We came up against a great team. We are also a great team and we showed it tonight. We have eliminated the champions of Europe.
      “Now we are in the semi-final and we have to work even more, improve and hope to have a good semi-final.”

      CHRISTIAN PULISIC will be getting home tonight and bandaging himself up like an Egyptian mummy. The American international was consistently fouled by Porto players every time he got the ball in Chelsea’s 2-1 aggregate win.

      In fact, Pulisic could probably have had a case for filing a report for assault on a number of occasions.  
      But he lasted the whole 90 minutes without being injured, albeit no doubt battered and bruised.
      And this just sums up not just this Chelsea performance but their entire route to an unlikely Champions League semi-final spot. 
      It was pure resilience and determination that got them evading tackle after tackle from a Porto side seemingly interested in taking both man and ball.
      They expected a battle, they expected a fight and it was Pulisic who got the absolute brunt of it. 
      The Blues defended with hearts and guts, and they didn’t ever really look like losing the game until one moment of sheer brilliance in the the 93rd minute.
      It certainly wasn’t a pretty performance from Chelsea, but it didn’t need to be.
      It was a team performance, a group performance that they set out perfectly to contain and do a job, which is exactly what they did.

      Thomas Tuchel knew they did not need anything extravagant to win this game and get into the last four of the Champions League, he just knew that they needed to be professional and mature after being 2-0 up from the first leg.
      And he can be proud of every single player tonight, despite losing a late goal and making for a nervy final few seconds. 
      To be fair, Porto’s late goal was their only real threat and it was a world class finish, but it doesn’t change anything about Chelsea’s professional performance on the night and doing enough to go through. 
      It has been quite an incredible ride for Tuchel’s Chelsea since he took the reins late in January, and now they find themselves in their second semi-final of the season, and things are heating up!
