According to German outlet Bild, Bayern chiefs have been unimpressed by Tuchel’s “erratic” conduct following the club’s failed transfers during the summer window.
Bild claims there was a secret meeting held earlier this month while the players were away on international duty to discuss the matter.
The 50-year-old was told to be less negative and emotional when talking about his squad in public.
Bayern bosses are also said to be concerned about his comments upsetting players and have given a strict warning that his attitude needs to change.

The ex-Chelsea chief arrived at the Bundesliga side less than six months ago when he replaced Julian Nagelsmann – and he reportedly tested the bosses’ patience during the summer transfer window.
Although the German giants managed to sign Harry Kane for £100m, Tuchel also wanted Declan Rice, Kyle Walker and Joao Palhinha – and was frustrated when the club missed out on their signatures.
Tuchel has endured a difficult start to his management at the Allianz Arena.
He arrived having a potential Treble on the cards in the latter stages of the season.

But they were knocked out of the German Cup, then lost to Man City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and nearly blew the Bundesliga title before snatching it on the last day from Borussia Dortmund.
Meanwhile, Bayern had a strong start to this season, thrashing Werder Bremen 4-0 in their Bundesliga campaign opener.
But they were held to a 2-2 draw by Bayer Leverkusen last Friday.
Tuchel’s squad return to the Champions League tonight where they will host Manchester United.
The Bayern boss will not be on the sidelines however as he serves a one-match suspension.
The German coach was sent to the stands during Bayern’s 1-1 second-leg draw with City in April, and was handed the punishment of watching tonight’s game away from the dugout. More

“They don’t seem to be playing that way any more. If they want to improve, they need that back.”
Arsenal have returned to the Champions League for the first time in six years.
Arteta has got a youthful squad and Petit seems concerned his players may not have enough experience at the elite level.

“Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus, and so on, but I’m looking at other players too.
“Martinelli and Trossard have never played in the Champions League before.
“It’ll be very interesting to see how Arsenal cope with the demands of both the Premier League and the Champions League games.”
Arsenal will open their Champions League campaign tonight against PSV Eindhoven.
The Arsenal icon said a win against PSV is a must as the Gunners need to redeem themselves.
The Gunners are undefeated this term and have won four of their five Premier League games but they lie fourth on the table – two spots lower than where they finished last season.
He added: “Things are not perfect for Arsenal right now, and they definitely need to win against PSV. The first few games are so important.” More

How Man Utd lined up last time they beat Bayern Munich with forgotten cult icon on bench and legendary starting XI

MANCHESTER UNITED are looking for their first victory over Bayern Munich in 13 years when they face the German giants at Allianz Arena this evening. The Red Devils enjoyed their greatest ever triumph against Bayern in 1999, completing the Treble thanks to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s late heroics in Barcelona.

United have had scarce success against the Bundesliga champions since, winning just one of their subsequent eight meetings.
That victory came on April 7, 2010 – a 3-2 Old Trafford triumph that still saw Sir Alex Ferguson’s men eliminated on away goals at the quarter-final stage.
The Red Devils went into the match trailing 2-1 from the first leg, but came roaring out the blocks – taking a 3-0 lead on the night via a Darron Gibson goal and Nani double.
Ivica Olic pulled one back for Bayern on the stroke of half-time, before Arjen Robben’s stunning strike on 74 minutes broke United hearts.

Ferguson started with experienced stopper Edwin van der Sar in goal, behind a back four comprised of Rafael, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra.
Nani and Antonio Valencia were deployed on the wings, with Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher and Gibson packing the midfield.
Wayne Rooney led the line on his own, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez having departed the previous summer.
Ferguson brought John O’Shea on for Rooney on 55 minutes to try to defend his side’s lead.

Also on the bench that night was forgotten cult hero Federico Macheda.
Jonny Evans, who made a surprise return to the club this summer, was also a substitute, alongside Tomasz Kuszczak and Paul Scholes.
Bayern, managed by Louis van Gaal, started with veteran Hans-Jorg Butt in goal, behind Philipp Lahm, Daniel van Buyten, Martin Demichelis and Holger Badstuber in defence.
Future United star Bastian Schweinsteiger, at this point in his pomp, was alongside Mark van Bommel in the middle – with Robben and Franck Ribery on the flanks.
Wily forward Olic partnered Thomas Muller in attack – while Bayern called on Mario Gomez, Hamit Altintop and Danijel Pranjic from the bench.
Bayern went on to beat Lyon 4-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals, before falling 2-0 to Inter Milan in the final courtesy of Diego Milito’s double.

Tonight’s match will see Harry Kane come up against English opposition for the first time since leaving Tottenham for the Bundesliga last month.
Ahead of the game, the England skipper said: “Obviously, over the summer I know there were some talks between a few clubs in the background, but Bayern were a team I was really interested and excited by.

“My focus is on here. Manchester United are a great club, a really big club as well. I just decided to come here and am really happy I have.”
