      Speculation over his next partner have spread with some linking him to singer Taylor Swift after she broke up with boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn.
      However, she is now dating The 1975 front man Matty Healy, leaving supporters with a new theory.
      Alonso was pictured with a fan and eagle-eyed social media users think Melissa Jimenez is in the background.
      This has fuelled rumours of the pair becoming a couple.

      She used to be married to ex-Barca, now Trabzonspor defender Marc Bartra and has three kids with him.
      Jimenez is a sports journalist, who works for DAZN.
      She covers motorsport specifically and could have found romance with Alonso in the paddock.
      Fans are buying into the theory due to them obviously crossing paths and after he previously dated a different reporter.

      However, the claims have been refuted by Delores, 68, when she was asked about the couple’s alleged problems.
      She told the press at a shop opening in her native Madeira: “It’s all lies.
      “Every couple argues, but what’s been written is a lie.”
      Georgina and Ronaldo have also hit back at the suggestion their relationship is on the rocks.

      One of the claims about their relationship came from TV show Socialite, which suggested Ronaldo was “fed up” of Georgina spending money in a shopping centre in Riyad, Saudi Arabia.

      “If the kids go to school and he hears me put the key in the door, no one’s in the house I just get a beaver and an aubergine emoji text.”

      The teenage midfielder has so far been denied a work permit to play in England, however, and has had to return to Brazil on loan.
