Nottingham Forest take spending close to £100MILLION with 12th signing of summer with £12.8m Orel Mangala transfer

NOTTINGHAM FOREST have completed their 12th signing of the window to take their summer transfer outlay to nearly £100million.Forest announced the signing of midfielder Orel Mangala from VfB Stuttgart on Sunday in a deal worth £12.8m.

Mangala, 24, appeared 29 times for the German team last season, scoring one goal and chipping in with four assists.
In a statement on the clubs website, Forest confirmed Mangala has signed a long-term contract at the City Ground.
The Belgian has been capped twice by the national team, but was not involved in the most recent international break.

The signing of Mangala is their third signing from the Bundesliga, following club record signing Taiwo Awoniyi and defenders Moussa Niakhate and Omar Richards.
They have added Premier League experience in former Man Utd star Jesse Lingard and ex-Liverpool defender Neco Williams.

RB Leipzig ‘REJECT audacious swap transfer after Blues offer Timo Werner loan for hot prospect defender Josko Gvardiol’

CHELSEA have been rejected in their attempts to sign RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol, according to reports.The Blues remain in the market to sign a central defender and have offered Timo Werner as part of a swap deal to sign Gvardiol.

However, Leipzig have no intention to sell the 20-year-old defender, who played 44 games for the German side last season.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported Chelsea’s offer for Gvardiol included Werner going back to his former club on loan.

‘Chances of recovery are very good’ – Dortmund give positive Sebastien Haller update after testicular cancer diagnosis

BORUSSIA DORTMUND revealed that Sebastien Haller’s chances of recovery are “very good” after he discovered a testicular tumour.Haller received the diagnosis earlier this month and left Dortmund’s pre-season training camp in Switzerland for further examinations shortly after joining the club from Ajax in a £27million deal.

But the Bundesliga giants’ director Sebastian Kehl had some good news as he said the striker is receiving the “best possible treatment” and the doctors are very confident he will fully recover.
Kehl said: “Haller will receive best possible treatment. Chances of recovery are very good”.
Haller shared a positive health update last week from the hospital while undergoing treatment.
The Ivory Coast international thanked the club and the caregivers for all of their support.

Dortmund search for Haller replacement as club confirm he is out for ‘a few months’ after testicular tumour diagnosis

BORUSSIA DORTMUND are searching for a short-term replacement for Sebastien Haller as he begins treatment for a testicular tumour.The 28-year-old former West Ham striker joined the Bundesliga giants from Ajax for £27million earlier this summer.

Haller shared a picture from his hospital bed three days later as he confirmed the first step of his treatment had been completed.
