The 19-year-old midfielder is attracting interest from a number of clubs as well as City including Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
Reports suggest that Haaland is trying to do his bit to convince the English midfielder to make the move but he is keeping his options open.
Real Madrid are confident they will sign him for less than £100million and they lead the race with Liverpool, claims journalist Ben Jacobs.
SunSport have exclusively revealed he could be available for just £83million in the summer if the fee is paid up front.

Reports also say that Chelsea are keeping tabs on Bellingham and could offer a deal that Dortmund would be on board with from a financial perspective.
As for Man Utd, a deal is likely to only happen if they are in the Champions League.
Rumours state however that Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl is ready to offer him a new contract after the World Cup to deflect interest.
Despite his age he is one of the most important parts of the team for the Bundesliga club – playing 90 minutes in all of their 11 matches this season in all competitions.

But the news was leaked that the medical happened a few weeks ago.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that all parties involved wanted to keep the discussions with Chelsea secret and the deal remains a long way from done.
Graham Potter’s side and the Bundesliga club are yet to agree a fee.
Nkunku, 24, apparently has a £53million release clause in his contract that Chelsea may have to trigger.

The Frenchman has eight caps for the national team and can play as a striker and an attacking midfielder with his versatility appealing to Potter.
Nkunku has netted eight goals in 12 games this season continuing his exceptional form from the previous year.
Last campaign he scored an incredible 35 goals and registered 20 assists in 52 matches as RB Leipzig qualified for the Champions League and won the German domestic cup.
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly supposedly wanted to show Nkunku that he is desperate to sign him with the weirdly timed medical and the American wants to build a relationship with RB Leipzig.

And that made him the youngest captain in the history of the German top division.
Despite not being on the winning side, as Dortmund fell to a 3-2 defeat, Bellingham still managed an assist for the opener.
His appointment comes after usual captains Marco Reus and Mats Hummels were unavailable.
Bellingham has also been heavily linked with a move away from the German club.

SunSport revealed last month how Bellingham was available for an £83million transfer if the money was all paid up front.
European heavyweights such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Chelsea are all interested in his services.
United’s plans for next summer reportedly hinge on both Bellingham and long-term target Frenkie de Jong joining Erik ten Hag’s project.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Chelsea both want the England midfielder to become their new main man as they plot midfield overhauls.

But it was on the sideline where the most bizarre incident of the evening took place.
In the 35th minute of the match, Bayern manager Nagelsmann lost his voice.
And, according to Bild, the team doctor was forced to come off the bench and hand the manager some throat pills.
They appeared to have the desired impact as two minutes later Nagelsmann loudly celebrated Bayern’s third goal of the game.

Strangely, this is not the first time Nagelsmann has experienced problems with his voice.
Speaking back in 2019 about suffering the same fate during a match between RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim, he said: “Three or four years ago I went to a speech therapist in Heidelberg because of a thickening of the edges of the vocal cords.
“There I had to do a lot of breathing exercises and we also sang. Apparently that helped a lot.”
Bayern have struggled to get going in the Bundesliga so far this season.

But the win over Leverkusen does take them up to second in the table, two points behind Union Berlin ahead of today’s action.
Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala and Sadio Mane all hit the back of the net in the first half as Bayern coasted to victory.
And Thomas Muller added a fourth in the second half to clinch their fourth league win from eight matches. More

Bayern Munich keep Harry Kane as No1 transfer target after England star’s goalscoring heroics against Germany

HARRY KANE remains Bayern Munich’s No1 transfer target, according to reports. The German giants were keen to try and prise the striker away from Tottenham last summer, but never got close to agreeing a deal.

Bayern lost Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona, and still see Kane as the ideal long-term replacement.
According to Kicker, club bosses remain adamant that they can sign the England captain from his boyhood club.
Kane, who netted a penalty in the Three Lions’ 3-3 draw with Germany last night, wanted out of Spurs during the summer of 2021, but is happy again in North London under Antonio Conte.
His contract at Tottenham expires in June 2024 and the forward is believed to be relaxed about the situation.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
Kicker claim that Bayern have made “gentle” contact with Kane’s representatives in the hope that he won’t extend his stay at Spurs further than 2024.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side could look to sign Tottenham’s No10 on a free transfer at the end of next season.
Alternatively, they could try and test their resolve at the end of this season with one year remaining on the contract.
They managed to pull off a similar deal for Sadio Mane over the summer, when it became clear that the Senegalese ace wanted to leave Liverpool after six successful years.

Whether Kane would want to move abroad while chasing Alan Shearer’s goalscoring record remains to be seen.
He has made no secret of his desire to catch the Newcastle legend and is now 71 strikes away from his 260 total – having moved above Andrew Cole into third in the all-time list already this season.
Speaking about Kane’s future last month, Tottenham manager Conte urged him to extend his stay.
The Italian said: “My opinion is only one of a million opinions.
“We are talking about a world-class striker and a player who in this moment is the most representative player for Tottenham. For sure I would like him to sign a new contract.
“But in this moment, for me it is very important to see him happy, totally involved with this season, totally involved with this project and in what we are doing. For me, this is the most important.
“Then it’s a decision that the player and the club have to take.”

Jude Bellingham available for £83million CASH as Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd scrap for cut-price transfer

JUDE BELLINGHAM could leave Borussia Dortmund for just £83million next summer – if the entire fee is paid up front. And Manchester City are convinced they will win what is sure to be a battle of the big guns to bring him to England.

Liverpool have a long-established interest in the Three Lions midfielder, and believed they were favourites.
Chelsea are also big fans, while Manchester United would love him at Old Trafford, but know they need a top four finish to have any hope.
There are suggestions Dortmund want over £130m for the teenager, yet sources claim the true price could be nearly £50m less — as long as it is paid in one go.
City are certainly best-placed to do that, as well as offering the best chance of silverware – and the opportunity to link up with his old Dortmund team-mate Erling Haaland.

Bellingham, 19, is big pals with Haaland, and the Norwegian has told him how much he is enjoying life at his new club.
When City signed Kalvin Phillips in the summer, there was a feeling his arrival meant they wouldn’t be in the running for the England youngster.
But they have remained in the hunt for another top-level midfielder – and Pep Guardiola rates him so highly he believes Bellingham could eventually fill Kevin De Bruyne’s boots.
De Bruyne is in his thirties, Ilkay Gundogan in the final ten months of his City contract, and Bernardo Silva’s long-term future is far from assured.

Bellingham still has three years on his contract which, unlike Haaland’s, does not contain a release clause.
But he is one of the hottest properties in Europe – on Friday he was the shining light in England’s dismal display in losing to Italy – and the top dogs are circling.
City have a decent relationship with Dortmund, having recently signed centre-back Manuel Akanji from the club, as well as Haaland and Gundogan.
The Germans asked about signing Etihad youngster Liam Delap on loan in the last window, before he joined Stoke for the season, and he could be another bargaining chip. More

Then-boss Thomas Tuchel wanted to secure Gvardiol’s signature ahead of Man City before loaning him back to Leipzig for the season.
But a huge offer for the centre-back was rejected as the deadline approached.
Chelsea’s hopes of securing the star were then dealt a major blow when Leipzig announced that he had signed a new long-term contract until 2027.
But new boss Graham Potter is thought to be an admirer, and owner Todd Boehly is ready to go back for Gvardiol after the Croatia international opened the door for a move to Stamford Bridge as early as January.

Now transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has added to the speculation by claiming that Leipzig are ready a swoop for Sutalo to fill the potential void left by Gvardiol.
He tweeted: “RB Leipzig are interested in Dinamo Zagreb’s centre back Josip Sutalo. There are more than three clubs in the race, including English and Spanish clubs – as he’s considered a top talent.
“Talks will continue in the next months for Sutalo’s next step.”
Fellow Croatian international Sutalo is two years older than his compatriot.

He came through the ranks at Zagreb and already has experience of playing in the Europa League.
The centre-back made his Croatian debut in June’s 1-0 victory over Denmark in the Nations League and has collected two more caps since.
Meanwhile, when quizzed about Chelsea’s interest and his future earlier this month, Gvardiol said: “I am happy at Leipzig, I still have a lot to learn and need to work on myself.
“I have people who deal with it, I didn’t think about a transfer.

But the 28-year-old is set to miss the majority of the season after undergoing life-saving surgery..
Hertha announced: “Jean-Paul Boetius has been diagnosed with a testicular tumour following the results of a urological test.
“He will be out for the foreseeable future.

“The club will provide further information on Boetius’ recovery in due course.  Until then we ask that everyone respects Jean-Paul’s privacy during his recovery.”
Hertha sporting director Fredi Bobic added: “As tough as it is to hear at first, we are full of hope that Jean-Paul will be able to recover and return to us as soon as possible.
“He will receive our full support until he returns.  The Hertha family are by his side, and wish him all the best.”

He also played for Basel, winning the Swiss Super League title in 2016, and Belgian club Genk.
His cousin is now-retired midfielder Urby Emanuelson, 36, who has had spells with Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday.
Boetius won 33 caps for Holland at various age levels, including one senior appearance in 2014.
And midfield pal Richter bravely opened up about his own battles recently – revealing HE froze his sperm to ensure he can have kids in the future.
Richter, 24, received the devastating cancer diagnosis in July, but the tumour was identified early enough that it could be removed by surgery, with the player not needing chemotherapy.
Borussia Dortmund star Sebastien Haller also had a testicular tumour removed this summer.
    What is testicular cancer?
What is testicular cancer? Testicular cancer is caused when cells reproduce uncontrollably within the male reproductive organs, the testes. The fairly uncommon cancer, which mainly affects men under 45, is relatively painless – making it difficult to diagnose .In the UK, 2,200 men are diagnosed each year and just 70 men die. However, cases have doubled since the mid 70s.
What are the symptoms of testicular cancer? The most common sign is a lump or swelling on one of your testicles – which is normally about the size of a pea. However, it’s worth bearing in mind that not all testicular lumps are cancerous. According to the NHS only four per cent of scrotal lumps are cancerous, but you should still always get your GP to take a look. Here are the signs to look out for:

A lump or swelling in the testicle
    A heavy scrotum
A dull ache or sharp pain in the testicles and scrotum
A feeling of heaviness in the scrotum
A difference in the texture or increase in firmness of the testicle
A difference between one testicle and the other

How do you check your testicles? It’s important to know what feels normal for you – so it’s important to check often so you can notice changes. It’s a good idea to have a hot shower before checking them, then gently roll your testicle between your thumb and finger. Then repeat for the other testicle. Repeat this every week so you get a feel for their shape and size. More
