Bayern Munich AXE Sadio Mane’s childhood friend just weeks after his own Saudi transfer exit

BAYERN MUNICH have confirmed the exit of Sadio Mane’s childhood friend jut a matter of weeks after Mane left for Saudi Arabia. The former Liverpool star is said to have played a big part in Bayern Munich II signing Desire Segbe Azankpo last July.
But with the Senegalese international no longer at the club, the Bavarians have got rid of his mate too.
According to BILD, Segbe and the German giants have mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
And the 30-year-old has already found himself a new club joining Belgian second division side RFC Seraing.

Segbe has had a strange career moving around different leagues in different countries and even spent a season at Oldham Athletic.
The Benin international made 36 appearances for the Latics scoring six goals and registering one assist.
But it’s fair to say he wasn’t thought of too highly by Oldham fans as he was once labelled as “one of Oldham’s worst strikers in memory.”
Bayern representative Halil Altintop spoke about Segbe’s exit from the club this summer, he said: “Desire approached us with the request to terminate his contract for personal reasons. After a few discussions, we fulfilled his wish at short notice.

“We got to know Desire as an exemplary professional who helped our young team on and off the pitch. We wish him all the best for his future in Belgium, both on a sporting and personal level.”
Segbe has an impressive campaign for Bayern Munich II last season bagging 12 time in just 28 appearances.
Bayern fans were impressed with Segbe’s time with the club and took to social media to praise him.
One wrote: “Desire Segbe came to Munich together and because of Sadio Mane. But only one of them left good impressions, which is Segbe.”
Mane also left Bayern this summer after he made the switch to the Middle East to join Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr.
The pair are good friends from childhood and have both pursued their dreams of becoming professional footballers.

Ex-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel ‘IRRITATING’ Bayern Munich board with his ‘erratic’ behaviour, claims shock report

THOMAS TUCHEL has reportedly irritated the Bayern Munich board with his “erratic” behaviour during the summer transfer window. It was a mixed summer for the Bundesliga giants as they signed top target Harry Kane from Tottenham but did miss out on other targets.

Bayern completed the signing of the England star for £104million, as well as deals to bring Konrad Laimer, Kim Min-Jae and Raphaël Guerreiro to the club.
However, the club did miss out on signing Declan Rice from West Ham before he went on to Arsenal, and a deal to sign Joao Palhinha collapsed on deadline day.
After the club’s 2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach, Tuchel, 50, revealed that he thought that the squad was still “thin” defensively.
He said: “The squad is a bit thin, a bit small.

“We have six trained defensive players for a four-man chain, which is perfect.”
It has since been claimed by German outlet BILD, that Tuchel’s “negative” comments have irritated the club’s board.
It is said that the manager’s statement was met with “incomprehension” by the board, who felt they had done everything they could to sign Palhinha.
While it is also claimed that the board thought that Tuchel was trying to be too “creative” with the names he was bringing forward, which has seen the manager’s behaviour being called “erratic”.

Tuchel is believed to have preferred the club to have signed Rice instead of Kane, while the board saw the striker as a priority.
After Kane arrived, the board gave in to Tuchel’s demands and tried to sign a player similar to Rice.
The club would have been unlikely to be able to afford both, with Rice also fetching £105million this summer.
This led to the move for the Cottagers star, which was close to being completed on deadline day.

Palhinha, 28, was thought to have had pictures in the Bayern shirt before the deal collapsed due to Fulham not being able to sign a replacement.
As Bayern allowed Benjamin Pavard to move to Inter Milan and not take up the option to sign Joao Cancelo, the club has been left seemingly short in defensive options.
However, the board were not convinced by Tuchel’s targets, which were Southampton’s Armel Bella-Kotchap and Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah.
The former Chelsea boss helped Bayern to win the Bundesliga last season after replacing Julian Nagelsmann although he did get a helping hand as Borussia Dortmund failed to beat Mainz on the final day of the season.

Gravenberch, 21, looks set to leave Bayern after falling down the pecking order at the club.
The midfielder was usually called upon from the bench by manager Thomas Tuchel last season, and that continued today during Bayern’s 3-1 win over Augsburg.
Gravenberch came on in the 81st minute of a game that saw Bayern new boy Harry Kane continue his excellent start in Bavaria by scoring two goals.
After the match however, he poured doubt over his future in a Bayern shirt, saying: “I don‘t know what will happen in the next days,” when asked about his future by Bild.

Gravenberch is also attracting interest from Liverpool with the Merseyside club keen to reinforce their midfield options.
While Liverpool have already utilised the Bundesliga to reinforce their midfield with the signing of Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo, they are understood to still be interested in bolstering their midfield.
Reports this month suggested that Liverpool sent two officials to Munich to lay the groundwork on a potential deal for the young Dutchman.
United meanwhile have been tracking Gravenberch for the majority of this transfer window in order to add some much needed balance to a midfield of Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Mason Mount that has thus far failed to click.

It’s understood that the Red Devils are weighting up their options between the Dutchman and Fiorentina captain Sofyan Amrabat.

Amrabat was left out of Fiorentina’s squad against Lecce this weekend but the Italian club’s sporting director last week said so far no bid has been received from United.
It is understood that Mason Greenwood’s exit from the club has seen a change in transfer policy at United – with Ten Hag favouring signing a new forward over signing a midfielder now that it is clear Greenwood will not be reintegrated into the squad.
Gravenberch is reportedly desperate to leave Bayern as he looks to secure a starting place in Holland’s midfield at Euro 2024.
Bayern will ask for around £22million to secure his signature. More
