Inside Harry and Kate Kane’s glitzy life in ‘Germany’s Hollywood’ – from restaurant serving £450 caviar to glam WAG pals

IT’S been dubbed Bavaria’s Beverly Hills due to its luxurious mansions and high-end restaurants – and now it could be the new home of the Kane family. Harry and Kate, who have just welcomed their fourth child Henry, have reportedly been scouting properties and schools in Grünwald, Munich, where mansions cost up to £18million.

Grünwald, which means “green forest”, is a picture-perfect spot with stunning forest walks, an exclusive golf course and plenty of lush restaurants nearby which offer caviar for £450 a pop.
It’s also a hotspot for some of Harry’s new teammates at Bayern Munich, after he completed a £104million move from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.
    £10k per night hotel
While finding a new pad, Harry has been staying in Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski, which is one of Munich’s most prestigious and exclusive hotels.
The five-star resort, located in Maximillian Strasse, is popular with celebrities and footballers and costs £10,000 per night to stay in one of their suites.

It’s believed Kane’s suite has a separate living room, two bathrooms kitted out with plush Carrara marble, silk curtains, six televisions and a range of designer furniture.
The hotel has a luxury spa, three award-winning restaurants and a rooftop pool that boasts views of Munich.

    £18m mansions
Located 7.5 miles (12km) southwest of central Munich, Grünwald is a popular spot for Bayern players due to being just a 15-minute drive from the club’s training ground.
The secluded and sleepy town, known as the “Bavarian Hollywood”, is Germany’s wealthiest municipality and unsurprisingly comes with a hefty price tag to live.

It’s claimed that Bayern has already found a place for the Kanes – should they choose to live there – and local estate agents have revealed what they may go for.
A source told MailOnline: “Grünwald is the Bavarian Beverly Hills. It’s the home of the rich and famous and offers the very best in luxury mansions.

“I can assure you that the Kane family will be in one of them and will enjoy their new life here.”
The source believed the family would move into a 12-bed home, which had both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a wine cellar, a home cinema and a wellness area.
But should that not fit the bill, there are numerous high-end properties for the Kane family to consider.
At the top end is the Meleven development, which is described as “an art lover’s home” online and listed for a whopping £18million.
The eight-bedroom mansion has its own “small sandy beach”, breathtaking views of the bay Liscia di Vacca and stunning interiors including floor-to-ceiling glass.
There’s also the luxury home of ex-Bayern defender Jerome Boateng, which boasts 10 bedrooms, a heated swimming pool and a well-stocked wine cave.
According to Bild, the property is on the market for £10million – despite being bought for £6.4million back in 2016.
Another among the current listings is a £7.6million  Bauhaus villa, which has a home cinema, sauna, jacuzzi and sprawling gardens.
There’s also a six-bed villa, which is on the market for £5.5million and has features including open fireplaces, an indoor pool, sauna and spa.
    £450 caviar & pick ‘n’ mix sushi
The area has a wealth of trendy restaurants and workers say they are loved by current and former Bayern stars.
They include Chang, a Michelin guide-listed Asian restaurant, which offers pick ‘n’ mix style sushi for £100, caviar for £450 and ribeye steak for £40.
Another Bayern star hotspot is H’ugo’s, which specialises in truffle pizza and pasta.
But should Kane fancy more traditional Bavarian meals – including pork knuckle and schnitzel – it can be found at Alter Wirt and Forsthaus Wornbrunn.
MailOnline reported that the average price of a meal is £50 per person, a litre of beer costs nearly £10 and snacks are close to £10.

Aside from upmarket restaurants, Grünwald is but a short distance away from the celebrations for Oktoberfest, which take place in central Munich.
The 16-day festival brings in more than six million visitors to the city every year including an array of Bayern stars.
In recent years, the team has donned traditional Lederhosen alongside their wives and girlfriend to lap up the Bavarian spirit.
    Celeb pals
Grünwald is home to 11,000 people and among them are a number of former and current Bayern players and their glamorous other halves.
Among the current squad living there are Alphonso Davies, Matthijs de Ligt, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Benjamin Pavard and Leroy Sane.
And Harry’s wife could very easily find herself a new group of WAG pals including Anika Bissel, 22, who is a professional handball player.
She’s the partner of Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Peter Neuer and could bond with personal trainer Kate through their love of sports.
There’s also Leroy Sane’s wife Candice Brook, a US model, TV personality and singer, and Mathea Fischer, the partner of Leon Goretzka.

Harry could soon settle in thanks to a nearby exclusive golf clubCredit: Instagram
Additionally, she could befriend Lisa Muller, who has been married to Thomas for 12 years and loves horses.
Should Kate fancy a bit of TLC, she will be able to pamper herself at the local Bel Hair and Spa.
It’s a popular Bayern WAGs spot, where a wash, cut and blow dry costs £50 and a range of beauty treatments start at £300.
And for Harry, when he’s not training or enjoying the area’s breathtaking walks, there’s also the exclusive Munchener Golf Club.
    £975-per week schools
There are plenty of International schools for the Kanes to choose from for their new little one, including the International Preschool Munich, which has fees of up to £975 per week.
The Bavarian International School in Munich-Schwabing describes itself as the “school of the future, today”.
The website continues: “Top international teachers there make learning fun and joyful for the 250 children from over 30 nations.”

There’s also the Munich International School, which would set them back £7,500 a year.
And should Harry’s children wish to follow in his footsteps by playing football, German legend Lothar Matthaus coaches the youth teams at local club TSV Grünwald. More

I’m a former Bayern Munich star but now I’ve swapped the Bundesliga for bedpans by working in a retirement home

Bayern Munich fan suffers burn injury in Harry Kane’s debut after ultras sneak in flares

Flares were set off at the start of the second half by the home fans before Bayern supporters followed suit just a few minutes later.
The fiery affair, which police are now investigating, isn’t the first time there has been trouble with flares between these two teams.
Last season’s clash in May led to another police investigation with around 100 ultras under the microscope.
During that match all seven rows underneath the away fans had to be completely cleared for safety reasons.

Friday’s game was just as crazy on the pitch as it was in the crowds with Bayern ending up 4-0 victors.
Harry Kane made his Bundesliga debut on the night following his mega £104million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur.
And there was no messing about from the England captain who assisted Bayern’s first goal which was buried by Leroy Sane.
He then went on to double Bavarian’s lead with a league debut goal in the 74th minute as his deflected shot snuck past Bremen goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka.

Unfortunately it didn’t all go to plan for Kane as he was then taken off in the 84th minute with what looked to be cramp.

Harry Kane reveals difference between Bundesliga and Premier League and why Bayern are perfect for him after debut goal

HARRY KANE revealed why Bayern Munich are the perfect team for him after he scored on his debut for the club – and how things are different in Germany. The striker finished off a fast-flowing move after being left in acres of space in the centre of the pitch.

Alphonso Davies burst down the left flank before playing Kane through on goal and the England captain believes Bayern’s pace is perfect for him.
He hinted at continuing his playmaking style – having finished with the most Premier League assists in 2020-21 – but remains focused on scoring goals for his new club.

Kane told Sky Sports after his debut: “We’ve seen my game, I like to drop deep and link play in the last four or five years.
“I think with the pace we have in this team, it works perfectly.

“I’m a No 9 first and foremost so I have to get in the box and make the runs forward. I’m really happy, we have a fantastic squad and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
Kane, 30, demonstrated how well he will fit in after just three minutes against Werder Bremen, as he played in Leroy Sane to open the scoring.
The former Tottenham star could have had a hat-trick with Bremen goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka pulling off several saves before Kane found the net.
Kane’s debut ended prematurely as he pulled up with cramp, but he left the pitch to a standing ovation from the travelling Bayern support.

Harry Kane shows he’s Bayern’s main man already with goal and assist on Bundesliga debut… but it doesn’t all go to plan

ALREADY, the Harry Kane Effect is in full swing. It took just over three minutes for the England captain to make his mark in Germany, with his first touch in the Bundesliga, as he delivered an assist for Leroy Sane to score.

He netted a goal and assist in the 4-0 win over Werder BremenCredit: Getty

Yet what everyone expected here in northern Germany was his opening goal and Bayern Munich’s £104million signing duly obliged with a composed strike from just inside the area with 16 minutes left.
Ex-Manchester City forward Sane and Mathys Tel both scored further goals at the end of the game for a 4-0 win.
So, not a bad start for Kane who was given a standing ovation from the away fans when being replaced in the 84th minute after going down with cramp.
Some pundits in Germany claimed Bayern’s new arrival could still struggle early on after leaving the Premier League for the first time.

Equally, Kane knew everyone in Germany was expecting to be impressed, hence the catchphrase, the Harry Kane Effect.
Instantly, though, that assist and a goal will lift the pressure from Kane’s shoulders.
Even against an admittedly average Bremen side, Kane could have scored a hat-trick.
You can be certain that over the next nine months, he will be leaving the pitch with a few match balls.

It was a complete performance from Kane
Even so, having finally escaped the grip of Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, it still feels slightly weird seeing Kane run around in a Bayern shirt.
He barely got a touch of the ball in a difficult debut when arriving as a 64th minute substitute in a 3-0 DFL-Supercup defeat to Leipzig six days earlier.
But after just 185 seconds, he delivered his first assist.
Deep in his own half and with his back to goal, he dealt superbly with an awkward, bobbling pass Sane.
Despite just a few training sessions with his new club, Kane will have realised the electric pace of Sane.
So with that first touch, Kane produced a deft, first-time pass to unleash the former Man City forward who tore clear of the home defence and displayed great composure to put Bayern ahead after just 195 seconds.
Kane fired a long-range free-kick into a wall and was clearly annoyed with himself for failing to get any power with a header from Sane’s corner and home keeper Jiri Pavlenka had an easy save.

The £104m signing went down with cramp before being subbed offCredit: Getty
He was denied with an excellent save from Pavlenka and you got the feeling this was not to be the England captain’s night.
Yet one of the landmark’s moments of Kane’s career, one that he will never forget, eventually came.
Alphonso Davies sprinted down the left and spotted Kane who took a touch into the area before scoring with a right- footed shot which sent the keeper the wrong way.
Kane celebrated in front of the away end in the top tier behind the goal.
And unlike England, travelling fans with shirts in Germany are able to sit in the home areas so there were other supporters celebrating throughout the stadium.
Kane’s dream debut was over in the 84th minute while Sane and Tel scored to give the scoreline a flattering look.
And if we learnt one thing yesterday evening, it is certain he will score more than the 30 goals he managed for an ordinary Spurs team last season.

Next up for Kane weekend is a home Bavarian derby against Augsburg next weekend.
So the next thing to tick off his checklist is a goal at the Allianz Arena and on this evidence, it is unlikely to take long. More

    Up next for Werder Bremen
SC Freiburg are next in line for Werder Bremen, away from home this time in a game that should definitely be easier than what they faced today.
Even though they were dominated, they should be able to put this performance to bed, and take the positives before moving on to next week.
xG is one stat that will need improving for Werder, as they failed to capitalise on the chances they created today, and more chances will lead to more goals for Fullkrug and Ducksch in the frontline.
Fullkrug was left frustrated as Bremen failed to create enough chances for their strikersCredit: Reuters
    Up next for Bayern
It’s Augsburg at home up next for Bayern Munich, and they will be looking to continue their bright start to the season next weekend.
No doubt Harry Kane will be back on the team sheet and looking to score on his home debut…
    Match stats:
Munich dominated the game, as the match stats show, and in the end the scoreline reflected that.
Even though Bremen had a good spell when the score was 0-1 at the start of the second half, they failed to capitalise and Bayern piled on the goals late on in the game.
The match stats as Bayern Munich beat Werder Bremen
    Man of the match
Pace, finishing, skill and footballing intelligence – Leroy Sane has got the lot.
Underrated by Manchester City, the winger wasn’t deemed necessary for Pep Guardiola, and given their success it is hard to argue against his decision.
Now however, he is being linked with a return to Manchester, and tonight’s performance may have added a few more millions to his price tag.
Chances came his way, and he dispatched two of them with relative ease, in a performance in which the Bremen defence simply could not handle him.
He takes the SunSport man of the match award tonight, and looks set for a sensational season once again.
    How was Harry Kane?
    Sensational.
Quality in every aspect of his play, he showed his class when it comes to finishing, desire and link-up play.
Unreal was his work ethic, which we are so used to seeing in England was on display, as he was defending his own box at points.
It was a well rounded, solid showing – not his dazzling best – but very good nonetheless.
Debut delight for Harry Kane, his goal was a simple finish after a great pass from Alphonso Davies. Superb showing.

    Werder Bremen 0-4 Bayern Munich
FT. The referee blows the full-time whistle here at the Weserstadion.
Stay with us as we have full analysis of the game coming to you next!
    Werder Bremen 0-4 Bayern Munich
    90+4. IT’S FOUR!
Star boy Mathys Tel smashes home from inside the box, and Leroy Sane’s reaction says it all. He is impressed.
What a strike that is on his right foot from just inside the box.
    Great hit. 0-4!
    Werder Bremen 0-3 Bayern Munich
    90. GOAL! Leroy Sane at the double!
Muller and Choupo Moting combine brilliantly inside the box against a tired Bremen defence before the ball is squared to Leroy Sane, who taps home with ease.
    Werder Bremen 0-2 Bayern Munich
    88. Choupo-Moting does really well to work the ball out from the back, and switches the play to the right-hand side.
Bayern are just going to see this one out now.
    Werder Bremen 0-2 Bayern Munich
    86. A huge chance straight after the changes for Mazraoui!
He should be squaring the ball there, but is greedy, goes for the shot and misses it.
    Werder Bremen 0-2 Bayern Munich
    84. Harry Kane is going to be replaced here by Mathys Tel.
Thomas Muller is coming on also for Jamal Musiala.
The final change is Choupo Moting, who is coming on in place of Kingley Coman.
    Werder Bremen 0-2 Bayern Munich
    82. Harry Kane is down, and it looks like he just has a bit of cramp.
    Werder Bremen 0-2 Bayern Munich
    80. A couple more changes for Werder Bremen here as we enter the final ten minutes.
Leon Opitz and Dawid Kownacki are replacing Anthony Jung and Jens Stage.
    Werder Bremen 0-2 Bayern Munich
    76. A foul by Jamal Musiala on Romano Schmid gives Bremen a free-kick from distance.
Will they go all out for the comeback now? Or settle at 0-2?
    Werder Bremen 0-2 Bayern Munich
    74. BUT NOT ANYMORE! GOAL! HARRY KANE!
Alphonso Davies plays a lovely ball into the English striker, and he has plenty of space to just roll it into the back of the net.
Great finish. Thomas Tuchel is beaming.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    73. After Sane opened the scoring early on, not too many would have expected that it would still be 1-0 after 73 minutes.
Bayern have not killed this game off perhaps as they should have, and have missed a host of chances.
There is a still a chance that Bremen get a result out of this.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    70. Kingsley Coman plays a ball into Harry Kane in the middle of the box.
The England striker gets a touch on it, but it isn’t enough to direct the ball goalwards.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    68. A few changes here:
Matthijs de Ligt comes on for Kim Min-jae.
Christian Gross is on for Senne Lynen.
And Romano Schmid comes on for Leonardo Bittencourt.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    66. Musiala dances with the ball on the edge of the box before finding Kingsley Coman.
He plays a nice reverse pass to Joshua Kimmich on the edge of the box, but he fires the chance wide.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    64. Mazraoui is down after he is caught off the ball on a dangerous Bayern break.
It looks as though he will be fine to carry on.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    60. Substitute for Werder Bremen.
Oliver Burke comes on in the right back position for Mitchell Weiser.
The former is traditionally a right midfielder, but will be better at dealing with the pace of Alphonso Davies on the left side.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    58. Kingsley Coman hits the post!
So close for the French winger!
Davies finds him on the left side of the 18-yard box, he turns and hits a shot towards the far right side of the goal.
It is low and hard, but cannons back out off the post.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    57. It’s an awful lot noisier here than in the first half at the Weserstadion.
That is a reflection of Bremen getting right back into this game and showing some fight in the second half.
    Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich
    55. A yellow card for Kim Min Jae after a late challenge is followed by one for Senne Lynen of Werder Bremen.

Ahead of the match, boss Thomas Tuchel said: “There’s a lot of things going on around a transfer of this size – a lot of noise, distraction going on.
“But once he steps out on the pitch I feel he will be very composed and very calm.
“I feel he has enjoyed training and being on the pitch with the guys was pretty impressive.
“We managed to sign the skipper from England so this is kind of what you expect – but it’s still impressive when you see it and get it in real life.”
The German, 49, then added: “I have a big hope that Harry is the kind of guy that adapts very fast. He will be the kind of No9 up front, a fixed point so players around him will adapt fast and I’m pretty sure our players will adapt and become better.
“He will affect the defence. The opposition will focus on him so he will open spaces. He is not only a No9 he can be between a 9 and 10 in the half spaces.
“He gives us a lot of options and he has all the time to fully adapt but I’m sure he will.”
Asked about having to deal with pressure, Tuchel added: “I don’t think it is going to be for the first time in his career he has had pressure so he will have to deal with that transfer in his performance and stay loose.
