UK fans say the songs lack wit — and challenged Harry to teach Germans some Spurs favourites.
James Ceppi di Lecco, 40, cheekily suggested: “How about ‘He’s not one of our own’ (Er ist nicht einer von uns)?
Or ‘You’re Schmidt and you know you are? (Du bist Schmidt und das weißt du auch).”
Richard Wilson, 62, from Sunbury, Surrey, added: “I can’t believe Harry’s taking the trouble to learn that rubbish.

Asked which songs he knows, he says: “I’m going to double-check on Bard.”
The app plays a few which he translates and says: “‘Stand up if you are Bayern?’, I’ve heard that one.”

How race for 5th Champions League spot looks with Premier League at risk of missing out after Man Utd and Newcastle woes

THE Champions League is set for a major revamp that will see two major European nations be handed an extra spot in the competition from next season. As it stands, the Premier League would miss out on gaining a fifth place.

The Champions League has long featured 32 teams split into eight groups of four, with the top two advancing out of each.
From next year it will be moving to the Swiss Model.
This will instead see 36 teams admitted into one big league table with the top eight qualifying automatically for the round of 16 and positions 9-24 contesting a play-off.
To determine fixtures teams will be split into four pots of nine.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
Each club will be drawn to face two teams from each pot, including their own.
No teams will drop into the Europa League following the conclusion of the group stage.
With the number of teams admitted into the Champions League growing from 32 to 36, four extra spots will be up for grabs.
Two of these spots will go to the leagues whose clubs perform best in European competitions, including the Europa League and Europa Conference League, this season.

While the further two will go to the team that comes third in the Uefa nation ranked fifth in coefficient, and the other going to the champions’ qualifying path.
The best performing leagues will be determined by the average coefficient of clubs participating in Europe.
Every win by a club from a nation is worth two points, a draw one and a defeat none.
Bonus points are then accrued by progressing through various stages of each competition.
Playing in the Champions League group stage is worth four points, with five dished out for qualifying for the round of 16 and one each for the quarter-finals, semis and final.
Winning a Europa League group, as Liverpool already have done, is worth four points, while two are given to runners up.
Bonus points are then handed out for reaching the round of 16, quarters, semis and final.
Winning your group in the Europa Conference League, as Aston Villa could, is worth two points, while qualifying as runner-up is worth one.
Bonus points are given for reaching the semis or final.
All points earned by clubs from each country are added up before being divided by the number of teams from that nation in Europe, eight in the Premier League’s case.
Manchester United and Newcastle’s failure to progress, even into the Europa League, has seen the Premier League’s coefficient drop to third as it stands.
The English top flight would have been awarded the extra Champions League spot in four of the last five seasons, the exception being 2019-20.
Currently its coefficient number, 12.13, is behind those of Germany, 13.36, and Italy, 13.14.
With Man Utd and Newcastle both out already, the Prem will be heavily reliant on its other clubs to have deep runs in order to accumulate enough points to climb into the top two.
Holders Manchester City have won their Champions League group, while Arsenal have too.
Liverpool, Brighton and West Ham have all progressed in the Europa League, and Aston Villa have qualified for the Europa Conference League knockout rounds.

As it stands, the Bundesliga and Serie A would be handed the extra Champions League places.
Should a team from one of the two nations with the highest coefficient win the Europa League without finishing in the top five of their own division, that country could have six teams in the Champions League.

And according to transfer insider Christian Falk, Guirassy is now “ready for the next step” after turning down a contract extension from his current club.
Stuttgart tried to buy the Guinea international’s relatively low release clause as well.
That means the 27-year-old will be available for a bargain €17.5million (£15m) come January.
However, the Red Devils are not the only ones keeping tabs on Guirassy.

In fact, the Manchester giants face strong competition from some of Europe’s biggest bidders, such as Borussia Dortmund as well as Premier League rivals Newcastle.
United manager Erik ten Hag needs urgent reinforcement for his misfiring frontline.
Last summer’s £72million signing Rasmus Hojlund has yet to record a Premier League goal.
Marcus Rashford, on the other hand, has failed to replicate last season’s impressive performances that saw him scoring 30 goals in 56 appearances.

And Anthony Martial as well as Antony have been poor up front, whereas Jadon Sancho has been axed from the first team after falling out with Ten Hag.
Guirassy is seen as the perfect solution at United thanks to his 18 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions.
However, the Guinean superstar is expected to be called up for the Africa Cup of Nations in January, meaing a summer transfer coudl be a better move. More

Chelsea in transfer race with Man Utd and Spurs for Germany’s Jonathan Tah but will be made to wait by Bayer Leverkusen

CHELSEA are reportedly leading the race for Germany centre-back Jonathan Tah – but face competition from other Premier League clubs.Kicker report that Manchester United and Tottenham are also hot on the heels of the Bayer Leverkusen centre-half.
Jonathan Tah has a release clause in his contractCredit: Rex
The German outlet say many clubs see Tah as a valuable outlet to solving their injury woe – with Liverpool also keen on the defender.
Each of the clubs have a starting central defender out with a long term injury.
Tah, 27, would be a relatively cheap option for any interested party as he has a release clause of £15.5million.
But, that clause does not kick in until the summer and Leverkusen will be reluctant to sell in the January window.

The club are currently top of the Bundesliga, something which was only boosted by Bayern Munich losing 5-1 yesterday to Eintracht Frankfurt.
The club will also be without Edmond Tapsoba and Odilon Kossounou when they travel to the African Cup of Nations in January.
So selling Tah would leave them heavily depleted at the back.
Leverkusen take on third place Stuttgart today in a battle of the surprise packages in the Bundesliga this season.

Harry Kane’s trophy hopes take another huge dent as Bayern Munich thumped 5-1 to lose more ground on Bundesliga leaders

But preparations to administer the last rites at Old Trafford could not have gone worse for Bayern with a humiliating rout against a team which had lost its four previous matches.
And even worse for Kane, the man who has not stopped scoring since he quit Tottenham for Germany in the summer, he barely got a sniff at goal.
He had just one chance, in the first half when a shot from a corner was deflected over the bar from three yards out on a miserable afternoon for the defending Bundesliga champions.
Kane also had his head in his hands in frustration when he teed up a great chance for team-mate Eric Choupo-Moting in the second half, only for the one-time Stoke forward to fluff a golden chance to get Bayern back into the game.

Kane, who cost £82million, experienced defeat on his debut in the German Super Cup – their equivalent of our Community Shield – as a second half sub.
But that was way back in August. Since then it has been easy street with 22 goals for his new club, some of which have been spectacular efforts.
Bayern also secured early qualification for the Champions League knockout stage while Manchester United look to be heading out.
Confidence needs to be rebuilt quickly as history repeated itself because Frankfurt were the last side to stick five past Bayern in the league – back in November 2019.

Defeat also means Bayern blew the chance to regain top spot in the table from Bayer Leverkusen.
Munich went behind in the 12th minute through Omar Marmoush. Frankfurt made it two on 31 minutes when Junior Dina Ebimbe cashed in on calamitous defending.
Hugo Larrson added a third nine minutes before half time as the biggest club in Germany, led by former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, was swept away.
Joshua Kimmich gave Kane’s team faint hope with a classy 25-yard strike just before the break but Ebimbe pounced on the break after more dreadful defending to make it 4-1.
And to add insult to injury VAR intervened to make it total embarrassment after Ansgar Knauff’s shot was initially judged offside.
