Fans concerned as BT Sport coverage of Fulham vs Chelsea cuts out and shows repeated adverts

FANS viewing BT Sport’s coverage of Fulham’s clash against Chelsea were left concerned after it cut out and repeatedly showed adverts. Fans took to Twitter to voice their concerns.
BT Sport’s coverage suddenly cut outCredit: Rex
One wrote: “Hope itโ€™s just a technical fault and not an issue with a person as the BT Sport coverage cut off all of a sudden.”
A second said: “The more adverts they play BT Sport the more you worry something has just happened off cameraโ€ฆ”
A third commented: “Seems like something serious might have happened live on BT Sport, I hope not ๐Ÿ˜ณ”
Fortunately, the outage was caused by a faulty generator, as confirmed by presenter Jake Humphrey.
    READ MORE ON CHELSEA
He said: “There is a generator that lost power.
“This doesn’t normally happen, Peter Crouch was running around with a wire.”
Other fans joked about the situation, with one quipping: “No way BT Sports did a Joao Felix๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ,” in reference to his sending off for a horrific challenge on his Blues debut.
A second user joked: ” (Graham) Potter didn’t want to be interviewed by BT Sport, so he got Joao Felix to pull the plug ๐Ÿ”Œ out of the wall.”
    Most read in Football
“@btsport just spared the Chelsea fans the embarrassment of listening to the analysisโ€ฆ or did they pull the plug on Boehly sacking Potter live on air,” wrote another.
Chelsea’s result against their local rivals will be a painful one considering a number of factors which it exacerbates.
Their injury list has been added to by Denis Zakaria going off injured; Felix is set to cost them roughly ยฃ2.3m just by being suspended following his straight red card, it is the first time they have lost to Fulham in the Prem for 17 years, and it is now one win in nine games.
Potter has previously spoken about how tough the job is at Stamford Bridge.
And it doesn’t appear to be helping that his reign at the club is, for now at least, cursed.
Owner Todd Boehly has kept faith so far, but if results do not pick up soon he could be forced to make a big decision. More

After leaving his mark on the world of football, Rio returned to the sport in 2015 – but this time as a football pundit.
In 2015, he joined BT Sportย as a pundit for their coverage of the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League andย UEFA Europa League.
He is now a permanent fixture, providing his expert football opinion and analysis on a number of fixtures.
Is Rio Ferdinand married and how many children does he have?

Rio shares one child with his wife Kate – a son named Cree who was born in December 2020.
In 2022, Rio and Kate announced the loss of their second unborn child, which left the couple feeling “devastated and heartbroken”.
He also shares three children from his former relationship with his first wife Rebecca Ellison – Lorenz, Tate and Tia.
Rebecca tragically passed away after a battle with breast cancer on May 2 2015, aged just 34.
They had been married since 2009.
In a statement he released to announce the news, Ferdinand said:ย “My soul mate slipped away last night.
“Rebecca, my wonderful wife, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
“She was a fantastic loving mother to our three beautiful children. She will be missed as a wife, sister, aunt, daughter and granddaughter. She will live on in our memory, as a guide and inspiration.” More

Round 10 โ€“ Chisora is coming out swinging, showing a sense of urgency but his attack doesn’t last long.
Fury is back on the front foot, throwing his jab out and coming behind it with a rear hand, boxing 101.
Chisora does fire back with a combination to head and body but he is showing signs of tire heading into the final two rounds.

Round 9 โ€“ย Fury is just walking Chisora down, punching him around the ring, but not killer blow has gone in just yet.
Chisora looks marked up under his right eyes and continues to walk into shots and miss with his own.
Another one-sided round in the bank for Fury, who is running away with it on the cards.

Round 7 โ€“ Little trade off in the centre of the ring sees the pair both land right hands, the biggest chunk of action for a good while.
Fury walks forward, landing short shots on the inside as Chisora tucks up and holds on.
Some sneaky right hands again come through with Chisora pinned to the ropes but the challenger fires forward in retaliation.
As the round closes out, Fury shakes Chisora back with a short right hand, the biggest sign of trouble he’s shown all fight.

Round 6 โ€“ย Even Chisora has turned southpaw – guess no idea is a bad idea but it’s still comfortable for Fury.
He’s landing uppercuts and hooks at will as he times Chisora walking forward.
Chisora misses WILDLY with an overhand right but Fury did spend most the round backed up but barely troubled.

Round 5 โ€“ย Fury punches Chisora into the corner and the challenger is left with a disgruntled look on his face.
Fury turns southpaw for the first time in the fight, having dominated their 2014 rematch as a lefty.
Chisora is managing to close the distance but can’t cash in on it as he actually walks into punches in the process. Fairly one-sided so far.

    Fury vs Chisora
Round 4 โ€“ Slowest round of the fight so far with Fury largely on the front foot behind his jab.
Chisora ships a couple of right hands as he looks to come forward and already showing signs of frustration.
Fury is doing a good job of walking him onto his rear hand, racking up an early lead.

    Fury vs Chisora
Round 3 โ€“ Fury comes out quick in this round, landing a big right hand and gesturing to the crowd as Chisora backs up to the corner.
Fury lands a right hand as Chisora counters with one of his own over the top, just missing.
Chisora is doing a good job smothering Fury’s shots but the champ is very quick to make adjustments.
The two literally collapse onto each other – drawing a cheer from the crowd – as Fury finishes the round with an uppercut to Chisora.

    Fury vs Chisora
Round 2 โ€“ Chisora starts the round winging a big right hand over the top with Fury backed up to the ropes.
He tries it twice more but the champ wises up to it. Chisora is pouring it on.
Fury walks Chisora onto a brilliant uppercut and then puts the pressure on in the corner.
The challenger defends well but spent the backend of the round covering up after a good start.
    Fury vs Chisora
Round 1 โ€“ First round in the books and it looks a very similar story to their first two fights.
Chisora is coming forward but Fury is on the back foot picking him apart, utalising his jab well.
He landed a clean right hand in there too, a worrying sign that he’s found his range.
    Fury vs Chisora
Round 1 โ€“ย Straight away the pair come together and the clinch is on.
Fury backs up into the corner and Chisora charges at him with body shots.
Now Fury lands a flurry on Chisora but the challenger holds on.
    Fury vs Chisora
Round 1 – Here. We. Go.
Fury and Chisora in the ring for the THIRD time, but more is on the line than ever with the WBC title up for grabs.
The pair of friends-turned foes agreed to sit and fight it out for the 60,000 fans and even more watching at home.

Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora 3: Date, UK start time, live stream, TV channel, price for heavyweight fight THIS WEEKEND

    How the fighters compare
Derek Chisora will face Tyson Fury for the THIRD time in his career
A whopping 94,000 fans, a British record, filled the England football team’s national stadium that night to watch Fury defend his WBC heavyweight crown before announcing his retirement in the ring after.
His retirement didn’t last long, however, as toward the end of the summer he called out Anthony Joshua for a massive money-spinning clash.
Talks failed to materialise, however, and now Fury is on the precipice of finalising a deal to fight Chisora, who beat Kubrat Pulev in exciting fashion in July.
Chisora has clashed with Fury twice before, though, losing the first on points before being stopped in their 2014 sequel.
And now, the two British heavyweights are set to fight for a third time in the most expensive showing on BT Sport Box Office EVER.

Fury: โ€œIโ€™m not gonna sit here and call Chisora names. I respect him. Iโ€™ve got nothing bad to say about Derek; heโ€™s a good fighting man, and he brings his A game every time.

โ€œHe says heโ€™s gonna knock me out, I wanna see him do it. If he does, Iโ€™ll be the first to congratulate him.โ€
Chisora: โ€œIโ€™m a black belt in crazy! The mindset is unbelievable right now, itโ€™s crazy.
โ€œItโ€™s gonna be toe to toe. I have to knock him out, Iโ€™m gonna drop him, yeah.
โ€œIโ€™ll beat him. Iโ€™m gonna knock him out, Iโ€™m gonna stop him, 100 per cent.โ€
