Manny Pacquiao wants Floyd Mayweather to put record on line in rematch seven years after loss as legend targets UK fight

MANNY PACQUIAO has challenged Floyd Mayweather to risk his record in a rematch plus revealed plans to fight in the UK. The Filipino icon was beaten by 50-0 Mayweather in 2015, which ended five long years of waiting.

But despite around £500MILLION made, a rematch failed to materialise with both boxing legends now retired from the sport.
Mayweather, 45, has competed in four exhibition bouts since hanging up his gloves after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 34, in 2017.
Meanwhile Pacquiao, 43, returns on December 10 against Korean YouTuber DK Yoo, 42.
The eight-division champion still holds out hope of a rematch with his great rival, but doubts it will be a sanctioned bout.

Pacquiao told the Daily Mail: “The Floyd fight, I am not sure a real fight is going to happen anymore. He doesn’t want to.
“He would maybe do an exhibition. There is a chance for an exhibition fight to take place. That is possible. But, a real fight, I don’t think will happen.”
Pacquiao retired last August after losing to Cuban Yordenis Ugas, 36, and focussed his efforts on a presidential campaign in the Philippians.
But following defeat in the polls, PacMan is considering a comeback and would even be willing to fight in the UK.

He said: “I am hoping before my boxing career ends, I will have an exhibition or professional fight in the UK. I hope that a fight will happen.”
Pacquiao revealed he is training as hard as ever and will use his exhibition return to decide whether he will fight again for real.
He said: “I will fight anybody for an exhibition or a professional fight.
“This December 11 fight is going to be a mixture of seeing if I want to return to my boxing career or continue doing exhibition matches.
Pacquiao added: “My training for this charity exhibition is the same as I have done in the past.
“You saw what we were doing in the past and that’s what we are going to do during this training camp.
“I will head back to the Philippines and start serious training.”

Floyd Mayweather owns a £50m private jet, where he plays poker and gambles some of his £506million fortune

AIR MAYWEATHER, Floyd’s private jet, has become a casino for high stakes games of poker. The boxing legend, 45, is known to own a stunning array of luxury toys and is reported to have a net worth of £560million.
Mayweather posted a photo of a somewhat ridiculous poker game from his jetCredit: Instagram @floydmayweather
Back in April 2020, he posted an Instagram snap of him playing a friend on his private jet with stacks of cash around them.
He captioned the shot: “On my private jet playing a private game of poker against @tmtbside7 he thought he had me with his full house, but I smoked him with a 4 of a kind.”
Mayweather claims he beat his opponent with a stunning four-of-a-kind hand of aces, beating an also staggering full house of kings and aces.
Such an unlikely scenario led to sneaky suggestions from Mayweather’s 28.4million followers that the game wasn’t all it seemed.
But the American’s wealth is pretty undeniable in the face of his lavish lifestyle.
Not only does he own the £50m Gulfstream G650 jet, dubbed Air Mayweather, which he bought as a birthday present to himself in 2018 – he reportedly has a second jet worth £25m for his entourage to follow in.
The plane is emblazoned with his TMT ‘The Money Team’ logo and his undefeated 50-0 professional boxing record.
Carpets featuring the same number are rolled out for fliers as they embark and it is even stitched in the sleeves of the staff who serve him as he jets around the world.

Mayweather is set to take on YouTuber Deji Olatunji next month in his fourth exhibition bout.
‘Money’, whose last professional fight was against Conor McGregor in 2017, could also be set for a rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
The Filipino icon was beaten by 50-0 Mayweather in 2015, which ended five long years of waiting.
Pacquiao told the Daily Mail: “The Floyd fight, I am not sure a real fight is going to happen anymore. He doesn’t want to.

Deontay Wilder says Anthony Joshua fight is ‘biggest in the world’ ahead of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk

DEONTAY WILDER said a fight with Anthony Joshua is the biggest in the world… ahead of a unification between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. AJ and Wilder in the past failed to agree terms for what would have been the heavyweight division’s first four-belt unification bout.

Now Fury and Usyk are set to cash in on that piece of history with an undisputed title decider in talks for next year.
But Wilder insisted no fight in the heavyweight division could top what he and Joshua could bring if they finally settle their score.
He said on the Breakfast Club: “Actually, me and Anthony Joshua is still the biggest fight in the world.
“It is. Even bigger than Fury and Usyk. Everywhere I go, they still ask about it, they wanna see that fight.”

Wilder, 36, returns over the weekend in New York against ex-sparring partner Robert Helenius, 38.
It will be his first fight since losing to Fury, 34, in their epic trilogy bout in Las Vegas.
The Gypsy King is now set to return on December 3 himself and continues talks with Derek Chisora, 38, who he beat in 2011 and 2014.
It came after he failed to negotiate a Battle of Britain with Joshua, 32, who is coming off two losses to Usyk, 35.

The Ukrainian is currently out until next year after coming back to his war-torn home for the first time following a period away in training.
After Fury and AJ held talks to fight, Usyk turned his attention to Wilder and opened the door to facing the American.
So the Bronze Bomber is still hoping the unified champion will be true to his word.
Wilder told the press: “Many people have said many things to me about wanting to fight, but when the time came, they went another way.
“I’ve asked around about Oleksandr Usyk and I’ve been told he’s a man of his word. Upon me being victorious, we’ll see what happens.”

Photographer claims Mike Tyson ‘tried to grab my breast’ during shoot but he insists they were in sexual relationship

MIKE TYSON’S former photographer has claimed that the legend tried to grab her breast in the 1980s.Award-winning snapper Lori Grinker , 65, made the claim during her new pictorial book, ‘Mike Tyson,’ which includes a collection of photographs from the boxing star’s teenage years into the 1990s.

Lori Grinker made the claims in her new bookCredit: Instagram
In the book’s preface, she wrote: “Mike could be very sweet and gentle when he was feeling it, and not very sweet or gentle when he wasn’t.
“He once tried to grab my breast, and when I pushed him away, he got angry and threw my light meter in the snow.
“He had a somewhat spoiled side and, being the champ, grew accustomed to getting his way.”
However Tyson, who pockets £500k-a-month from his cannabis empire, has not denied the story, instead he is saying that the pair were in a consensual sexual relationship when he was “around 17” and she was in her mid 20s.

The Daily Mail states that Grinker informed them that the then “immature teenager” Tyson never tried anything like that again and they continued to have a professional relationship.
But Tyson’s representatives told them: “In this day and age it’s unfortunate that Ms. Grinker was not more careful with her words omitting the fact that she was in a sexual relationship with Mike Tyson when he was a minor with almost a decade age difference.”
Grinker then stated that Iron Mike, 56, was inaccurate in his claim.
Then in a separate email to the Mail, Tyson’s spokesperson indicated that the pair, who met when he was 13, started their supposed relationship around 1983.

They stated: “He was around 17 and had sexual relationship (sic) with her on & off until about 21. He had sex with her also when he was champion in Atlantic City.”
Tyson’s spokeswoman initially described the former heavyweight as a “minor” in the claimed relationship, although they went on to explain that “minor is generally legally defined as a person under the age of 18.”
The Mail added that if “the alleged affair did occur when Tyson was 17, it would not have violated New York State consent laws enacted in 1965.”  More
