      Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall: UK start time, live stream, TV channel, undercard for undisputed clash

      CLARESSA SHIELDS and Savannah Marshall will end their war of words in a huge undisputed middleweight title clash TONIGHT.The fight has been a DECADE in the making – and has now been given a new date.

      Marshall is the only fighter to beat Shields inside a boxing ring – by securing a decision win when the two fought as amateurs in 2012.
      And Marshall’s trainer Peter Fury has warned that his charge – who has knocked out 10 of her 12 opponents in the pro ranks – is the most powerful puncher in women’s boxing.
      Fury said: “She’s got devastating power in both hands. By far the hardest female puncher in history, going back and forward.
      “I’ve got somebody who’s six foot, who can make various weights with ease, which is a gift in itself, who’s as bodily strong as some men, with weights, cardio.
      “She’s a gifted athlete. The best of Savannah will be too much for anybody.”

      When is Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall?
      Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall now takes place on Saturday, October 15.
      The card was postponed from September 10 in a mark of respect for The Queen, who died aged 96 two days prior on September 8.
      The fight ring walks will not before 9.40pm, with the undercard kicking off from 6.30pm.
      London’s O2 Arena plays host to the show which is still set to be an historic all-female card.

      ‘I’m SO much better’ – KSI on a mission to show the world he is superior boxer to YouTube rival Jake Paul

      KSI is on a mission to prove he is a better boxer than arch rival Jake Paul, as talk of a grudge match continues. The British YouTube, rap and celebrity fighting star returned to the ring in August, winning TWO farcical bouts on the same night.

      KSI, 29, is set to fight again at the start of the new year but revealed his ultimate ambition is to settle the score with Paul, 25.
      He said on DAZN: “January, I’ve got a few opponents on my mind.
      “Bro, I just want somebody to fight me, I want someone to properly give me a go.
      “But I’m ready, man. My main goal to come back is to fight Jake Paul. That’s the main reason. That’s always the goal.

      “Everything else I’m doing is just side quests, it’s just me having fun and showing the world why I’m so much better than Jake Paul.
      “Like SO much better.”
      KSI beat rapper Swarmz, 25, and so-called pro boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda, 23, on his comeback night.
      Paul returns himself on October 29 in Arizona, against UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47.

      It will also be his first opponent to hold a recognised boxing record, with Silva 4-1 in the ring.
      Paul has previously beaten KSI’s friend “AnEsonGib”, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 38, as well as retired UFC pair Ben Askren, 38 and Tyron Woodley, 40.
      The American wants to avenge the loss his brother Logan, 27, suffered to KSI in their 2019 rematch, a year after drawing.
      And according to KSI’s manager Mams Taylor, Paul could get his wish next year.
      Taylor told Christian HD: “As long as there’s no f***ery on the contracts, 2023 that fight will happen.
      “Guaranteed as much as you can guarantee. I can guarantee from our side, yes.”

      ANTHONY JOSHUA channeled his inner Cristiano Ronaldo by copying the Manchester United legend’s most famous goal celebration while on a beach in Portugal. The British boxing heavyweight posted a video on Instagram of him replicating the ‘Siu’ pose which has been used for nearly a decade by the 700-club-goal superstar.

      AJ runs into shot from the bottom of the screen twirling his right hand in the air before jumping and turning to land in the familiar wide-leg and wide-arm stance.
      The footage is shot in a way which allows the beautiful setting sun to cast a long shadow of the 6ft 6in fighter across the sand.
      Ronaldo’s signature celebration has become an online viral hit since his move back to Manchester United from Juventus last year.
      The Portugal skipper says it was inspired by fans at his former club Real Madrid who used to say ‘Siu’ after they won games.

      But Joshua might have to update his routine after Ronaldo showed off a new celebration after bagging his 700th club goal in a win over Everton last week.
      Ronaldo stood with his head back, eyes closed, and fingers crossed in front of his chest after bagging the winner at Goodison Park.
      The new move has already been mimicked by fans and players across the world.
      Benfica winger Diego Moreira, 18, copied the ‘inner peace’ pose after scoring against Paris Saint-Germain in the Uefa Youth League on Tuesday.

      DEONTAY WILDER is set to make a massive change for his comeback fight against Robert Helenius. The American returns to the ring after a year out tonight against former sparring partner Helenius.

      It will be his first bout since losing to Tyson Fury in their epic trilogy last October.
      But when Wilder steps back between the ropes in New York, he is set to do so in a pair of Grant boxing gloves – known as a puncher’s glove.
      The ex-WBC heavyweight champion has long been sponsored by Everlast, wearing both their boots and gloves.
      But American brand Grant claimed Wilder will wear their gloves for the first time in his career.

      And fans online claimed the Bronze Bomber will only be more powerful in his new set of tools.
      One said: “Helenius will be real lucky to make it Past 6 tomorrow really past 4 considering Wilder is using Grant Gloves.”

      Wilder has dropped down to 214lb for his return, having weighed 238lb the night before he was knocked out by Fury in their trilogy classic.
      He had warned he would cut down in weight for his comeback bout against Helenius, 38, having felt too heavy last year.
      He said during his training camp: “We gained a lot of weight the last fight. I felt a little sluggish, a little heavy
      “And, you know, I was interested in seeing my body frame in a certain weight as well.
      “But at this moment in time, I go back to what I’m used to and what’s comfortable to me and what’s comfortable with my body frame.
      “And that’s gonna be around maybe 220lbs or maybe under.”

      But despite around £500MILLION made, a rematch failed to materialise with both fight legends now retired from the sport.
      And Pacquaio attempted to goad Mayweather into a sequel after insisting the unbeaten American was afraid of a rematch.
      He said: “I don’t think that will happen because he’s scared to death to face me in the ring again.
      “He’s scared. From the beginning he’s felt intimidated [by] me and scared to face me.

      “It might be possible for an exhibition, but I don’t know yet.”
      Mayweather, 45, has competed in four exhibition bouts since hanging up his gloves after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 34, in 2017.
      Meanwhile Pacquiao, 43, returns on December 10 against Korean YouTuber DK Yoo, 42.
      Mayweather’s latest exhibition is set for November 13 in Dubai, against YouTuber Deji, 25, who has won ONCE in his four fights.

      It came after he most recently knocked out MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura, 30, in two rounds in September
      That came after facing featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, 24, Logan Paul, 27, and ex-sparring partner Don Moore.
      Pacquiao was ringside to watch Mayweather KO Asakura and the pair came face to face at a press conference beforehand.
      After the fight, the self-proclaimed “Best Ever” ruled out a rematch with PacMan, or any other boxer for that matter.

      Mayweather said: “I’m not going to go in there with no former fighters, former world champions, putting more abuse on my body. I retired for a reason.
      “I’m here to have fun and enjoy myself, sometimes three rounds, sometimes eight rounds, with guys that are going to help me entertain people.
      “I’m not going to take punishment to the point to where I can barely walk or barely talk.
      “Manny had a great career, but boxing retired Manny, Manny didn’t retire from boxing. There’s a difference.
      “Of course, if I were Manny Pacquiao, would I be chasing an exhibition with Floyd Mayweather to get a payday? Absolutely I would.

      But that is set to change in 2023 as Top Rank president Todd DuBoef voiced confidence in Fury, 34, and Usyk, 35, fighting for the marbles.
      He told Sky Sports: “I think that’s without a doubt. That’s everybody’s objective.
      “I think both fighters want it, the fans want it and it’s the crowning moment for the heavyweight champion.”
      Fury wanted to fight Usyk next after the Ukrainian beat Anthony Joshua, 32, on points for the second time.

      But the boxing hero ruled himself out until next year having returned to his war-torn home for the first time after a period training away.
      So Fury made the shock decision to call out AJ and talks for the pair to fight in Cardiff on December 3 followed.
      However, a deal could not be agreed and Derek Chisora, 38, is now the unlikely alternative to challenge for the WBC title.
      That is despite twice losing to Fury in one-sided fashion, in 2011 and 2014, although DuBoef said no opponent has officially been agreed.

      He said: “There’s nothing to report. As I’ve said over and over again, we wish it was AJ.

      The American has lost just once in the boxing ring, against Marshall in a 2012 amateur bout.
      But Mayweather – whose last loss came in the 1996 Olympics – predicted Shields will avenge her bitter defeat.
      He said: “I’d like to see Claressa. She’s from Michigan, like myself, she’s a native of Michigan like myself.
      “Two-time Olympic gold medalist, we like to call her the female TBE (The Best Ever) in the sport of boxing.

      “And this is going to give her a chance to redeem her first loss. She only has one loss throughout her whole career.
      “So I’m excited for her. And we work with the same trainer, Gerald Tucker.

      Marshall, 31, was once promoted herself by Mayweather, 45, and is now 12-0 with ten knockouts.

      Deontay Wilder weighs in almost two STONE lighter for Helenius fight than he did for trilogy loss to Tyson Fury

      That night, he weighed in at a career-high 17st – or 238lb – as he unsuccessfully tried to wrestle back the WBC world heavyweight title.
      But Wilder, who takes on Helenius in New York, makes his comeback as a slimmed-down fighter.
      The Alabama boxer tipped the scales today at 15st4lb 8oz – 214.5lb – a far more natural weight for the heavy-hitter.
      As usual for Wilder, he will be significantly lighter than his opponent with Helenius carrying 18st 1lb.

      Should Wilder win his first fight since November 2019, he would be back in contention among the top heavyweights in the world.
      And he is already eyeing up a blockbuster bout with Ukrainian hero Oleksandr Usyk – pipping rival Fury to the unification showdown.
      Usyk is understood to have made clear he is open to a fight with Wilder.
      Wilder, who also wants to box Anthony Joshua, said: “I asked my guys if Usyk is a man of his word and they confirmed that he is.
      “So I am going to hold him to his word and we will see. Hopefully, he is a man of his word. 
      “In this division, you’re only one win from a title shot.”
