Tommy Fury has ‘NO CHANCE’ against Jake Paul and will be knocked out in three rounds, says man who boxed BOTH rivals

JAKE PAUL has been backed to make easy work of Tommy Fury inside three rounds by a fighter who has shared the ring with BOTH rivals. Fury is in line to receive a THIRD contract to fight Paul, having twice pulled out of their pay-per-view headliners in the past.

Anthony Taylor is in the rare position of having boxed the pair of celebrity stars.
He was Paul’s previous sparring partner while losing a four-round decision on the YouTuber’s undercard to Fury, 23, last year.
And with talk of a grudge match being rescheduled for 2023, Taylor, 33, sees only one winner.
He told SunSport: “Tommy has no chance. Jake Paul knocks him out, third round.

“Tommy is slow, he doesn’t have no power, he has no pop in him, I’ve felt his power.
“I’m a tough dude, I’m a realist and I’ve always been consistent, Tommy doesn’t have the power.
“Jake Paul is just going to outwork Tommy. If you notice, Tommy likes to avoid the longer rounds, Tommy has been doing four rounds.
“He avoids eight rounds, he doesn’t do them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jake says, ‘We’re going to fight, but it’s going 12 rounds.’

“Tommy is going to be like, ‘Nah, I’m OK.’ I do think Jake should fight Tommy over ten rounds, to be honest.
“That’s fair since Tommy f****d over Jake twice, he should take on the financial responsibility of the fight and make it a ten-round fight.”
Fury first withdrew against Paul, 25, last December with a rib injury, causing Tyron Woodley, 40, to step in and lose by knockout.
The pair then renegotiated terms for August but the 2019 Love Islander suffered a US visa issue, which still persists currently.
Paul instead returned in October and beat UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47, his biggest win to date.
And now it is Fury’s turn as he faces 5-2 American Paul Bamba, 33, on Sunday in Dubai, falling on Floyd Mayweather’s undercard.

Paul will be in attendance with Taylor also in action against another reality TV star in Jack Fincham, 31.
But the former MMA champion wanted to rematch Fury – and dared his former opponent to try and get a KO this time.
Taylor said: “Tommy doesn’t want to fight me again.
“Tommy wants to fight Jake Paul, but Jake had to fight Tyron Woodley twice because Tommy backed out.
“Why can’t I get my rematch? Who are you to tell me I can’t get a rematch? He wants to fight bums.

And that will be on the line when he comes up against old foe Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next month.

I served in Iraq and overcame homelessness through boxing, nothing can faze me and I’ll beat Tommy Fury, says Paul Bamba

AFTER serving in the military and overcoming homelessness, there is no opponent who can faze Paul Bamba. So when Tommy Fury shares the ring with him on Sunday night, he must know the American has already been in the deepest possible trenches.

Bamba, 33, told SunSport: “I haven’t run into anything that has fazed me yet. Unless I’m about to die or something, nothing can faze me.
“I’m a tough individual, if something is not going right, you always have a plan B to make plan A work, you make stuff happen.”
Bamba joined the military the day he turned 18, enrolling into the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California.
He spent seven months serving in Iraq, meaning the discipline required in a boxing career was drilled into him long before lacing up the gloves.

Bamba said: “I would say the marine corps and the structure, it helps me a lot out when it comes to boxing because it’s all about sticking to it, repetition is key.
“All those good things that we ignore sometimes, that’s what it taught me and helps me stick to it.”
Bamba, who has posed as a model online, has had just seven bouts since turning pro in 2021, but won battles far worse outside of the ring.
He said: “When it comes down to mental strength, courage, fortitude, that’s one of my greatest strengths, because of the military.

“I would agree that it’s different, but helpful nonetheless because you go through a lot in the military and it teaches who you are, it amplifies it.
“It gets you ready for the absolute worst possible things.”
After coming out of the marines, Bamba moved from California to New York and worked minimum wage jobs.
But after falling on hard times, he found himself homeless and living on the streets.
To earn some cash, Bamba walked eight miles a day to spar at the Church Street boxing gym, making more money the longer he survived.
He remembered: “You could spar and get like $10 a round if you lasted. I hadn’t been eating, so I tried it, lasted one good round.

“I got my ten bucks, I was able to eat and then I went back, did way better and made like 30 bucks.
“I just kept going back and doing it and sticking to it.”
Eventually, Bamba began coaching at the gym and soon got back on his feet as a personal trainer, proving nothing could keep him down.
He said: “Your outlook on life is where you end up so I could’ve been mad about it and said, ‘Damn, I’m homeless and just sat on a bench all day.’
“Instead, I applied for probably like 100 plus jobs a day and was running around trying to make sure everything was alright.
“I think that is a direct correlation to boxing because I think when times get tough, you’ve got to bite down on your gumshield and keep moving forward.”

Bamba had four amateur bouts before turning pro and in just his eighth fight faces the brother of boxing royalty in Fury.
The British star is the younger sibling to heavyweight champion Tyson, who also had a stint on the hit reality TV show Love Island.
But his time on the small screen flew under the radar for Bamba, who said: “I don’t really watch TV but I know his brother’s amazing, Tyson Fury, that’s all I really know.
“I know Tommy is a really good prospect, it’s his ninth fight but for me, I’m more concerned about the opportunity. It’s a win-win for me.”
Bamba – who has already turned his life around – has the chance to change it forever by upsetting Fury in Dubai on Floyd Mayweather’s undercard.
He said: “It’s a great opportunity that presented itself, I have the underdog mentality, I’m not just somebody who lays down.
“I’ve seen a bunch of his fights and I don’t think anybody really tries to fight him, I think they’re just there.

It means his promotional partners of Sky Sports and Boxxer are well placed to push the cruiserweight on to title honours.
And ahead of his third bout in 2022, which will make it the most he has fought in a calendar year since turning professional, Riley feels he is on the right track.
The East Londoner told SunSport: “I’d like to be world champion by 28. I remember I first kind of said that to myself when I was 16 or 17.
“I thought, ‘OK, in ten years where do I want to be? And that’s world champion. So I feel like I’m still on track to do that.

“I’m 25 now, activity has increased in the ring and next year hopefully we can push on for a domestic title or some sort of title.
“Then, hopefully by 28 I can fight for a world title.”
Riley did not shoot to fame due to his collection of belts in the unpaid ranks or his skills as a potential Olympic hopeful.
It was training YouTube sensations like KSI, 29, which helped propel him to a whole new set of fame and fans.

As a result, Riley has built an army of supporters, with over 2million YouTube subscribers and social media followers.
And they are all dying to see the unbeaten contender fight the likes of Jake Paul, 25, or Tommy Fury, 23, the Love Islander and brother to Tyson.
But Riley, trained by his dad Derrick since the age of six, is happy to pass over the money-grab bouts to his friends while he eyes world titles.
He said: “I guess the benefits are very short term
“What’s in front of you can be very beneficial with a lot to gain but long term when I look at how I want to be remembered, I already have the big stigma connected to me being KSI’s previous trainer.
“So to continue in that realm, keeping that entertained is just not something that interests me.
“That world can co-exist with the traditional boxing world – if that’s what you want to call it – as well.

“I mean, if anyone from that industry crosses over to the boxing world, I guess that changes everything.
“But for the time being, I think there is a clear line and I want to keep that line there.”
Riley’s talent and fanbase has never come into question, but his successful amateur run seems to have flown under the radar.
He said: “My amateur career has been overlooked massively because I wasn’t popular when I was doing those things.
“So what comes to everyone’s mind is what I’m known for, which is coaching KSI and having a bit of YouTube and social media presence.
“That kind of overruled my amateur boxing credentials but I understand that and at the end of the day, I still won and there’s still something to my name.
“It put me in good stead for my boxing career.”
