Jake Paul branded a ‘clown’ by ex-world champion Carl Froch who says ‘it is disgusting’ YouTuber is considered a boxer

CARL FROCH branded Jake Paul a “clown” and said it is “disgusting” he is considered a professional boxer. Froch appeared on his old rival George Groves’ podcast and was on the end of some trolling by his ex-opponent.

Carl Froch said ‘it is disgusting’ Jake Paul is considered a boxer
The former world champion was asked to name when YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul faced Ben Askren, Nate Robinson and Anderson Silva.
But Froch, 45, responded: “Jake Paul is a clown, such a f****** idiot. What a ponce. He’s not even a fighter.
“He shouldn’t even be on this list. You have disgraced this list by putting his name on it.
“It is disgusting you have put him on this list of boxers.”

Paul knocked out retired MMA welterweight Askren, 38, ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 38, and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 40.
And in October he scored the biggest win of his career by beating UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47, who also had a 4-1 record in the ring.
But before the bout, Froch – who retired in 2014 after knocking out Groves – took another swipe at Paul, 25.
He told William Hill: “Jake Paul can’t fight, he’s pretending, he’s conning people.

“He’s got his audience, I don’t begrudge him – he’s making money and doing what he’s doing. But he’s not a professional boxer.
“He knows not to come anywhere near me. He’s bigger than me, he’s 14 stone, he’s younger than me, he’s fresher, he thinks he can fight.
“I wouldn’t even train for this guy, I’d do a little bit of training.
“I might do the odd little run to get the heart beating, but I’d take Jake Paul to school and hammer him.
“He knows it, he wouldn’t fight me. No chance.”

Reports in the Russian magazine Life claim he was hospitalised after complaining about leg problems.
However, his spokesperson has issued a bizarre denial, claiming: “No one broke his legs.”
Valery Kuzenkov told the publication: “Nikolai Sergeevich jumps, dances. Yesterday he was in the State Duma until late.
“No one broke his legs, and no one put him in the hospital. He is alive and well, smiling and walking on two legs. Now he is at home.”

Valuev has now given a cryptic statement thanking his fans for their concern, but not confirming or denying that he was hospitalised.
“Thank you all for your concern and well wishes,” he wrote in his channel on the messaging app Telegram. “Everything is fine. We are working.”
He also said that he was continuing to work, and would be commenting on upcoming boxing matches this weekend.
“Tomorrow there will be fights on Channel One,” he said. “As usual, I will comment on what is happening in the ring. See you on the First.”
It comes less than two months after Valuev was called up to fight in Ukraine.

On September 29, he published photos on social media of a summons letter to report to his nearest draft office, and wrote: “If the Motherland calls, I will go.”
But since then, he has given no indication of when he might go to Ukraine, and said he wouldn’t invite the media to go with him so they “did not do PR on this”.
Valuev made his professional boxing debut in October 1993, retiring in 2010 after 52 fights.
He won 50, including 34 by knockout, and became Russia’s first World Heavyweight Boxing Champion in 2005.
Valuev held the WBA title between 2005 and 2007 and reclaimed it in 2009 shortly before hanging up his gloves for good.
He was forced to retire in 2010 due to a benign brain tumour.

After retiring in 2009, Valuev went into politics and joined the Russian parliament or Duma in 2011 as a member of the Putin-backing United Russia party.

KSI gives scathing assessment on Deji and says brother got ‘beat up’ by Floyd Mayweather in brutally honest verdict

KSI gave a scathing assessment of his brother Deji’s exhibition with Floyd Mayweather in a brutally honest verdict. The YouTube, rap and crossover boxing sensation was ringside in Dubai as his younger sibling was stopped inside six rounds.
YouTube star Deji next to his brother KSI
And despite Deji leaving his mark on Mayweather – in the form of a bruised left eye – KSI was left fuming with the fight.
He said on his YouTube channel: “Deji got beat up for six rounds.
“I think for me, I hated it, because I just don’t want to see my brother get beat up like that.
“It just p***** me off. I wanted to get in that ring and f*** Floyd up.
    READ MORE IN boxing
“The same situation with Alex Wassabi and Deji, it was infuriating losing to someone who I know he can beat.
“And I know a lot of you are gonna be like, ‘There’s no way Deji can beat Mayweather’, but I feel like I can beat Mayweather.”
Deji, 25, was halted on his feet following a barrage by Mayweather, 45, who was boxing in his fifth exhibition since officially retiring.
It acts as the social media star’s third loss in four bouts and despite coming up against boxing royalty, KSI said more mental strength is needed.

KSI, 29, said: “He just needs to get his mindset right.
“I don’t know, I just know he didn’t put 110 per cent into the training and into the discipline, into his mindset.
“I know he didn’t put 110 per cent in that fight. I don’t know how to make him his true self.
“I messaged him, I said, ‘Deji, you’re like Krillin, you have this hidden potential and you just don’t want to unleash it for some reason.’ ”
KSI continued: “It’s infuriating because I know just how good Deji could be – he gave f****** Mayweather, Floyd Mayweather a f***** bruise on his eye.
I hated it, because I just don’t want to see my brother get beat up like that. It just p***** me off. I wanted to get in that ring and f*** Floyd up.KSI on Deji’s loss to Floyd Mayweather
“Do you know how crazy that is? Deji wasn’t even at his top level and he was able to bruise Mayweather.
“So imagine if Deji just really dedicated his life to training and just took it seriously. I think he’d be a monster.”
Mayweather spent the majority of the bout showing off, chanting Deji’s name, holding up the ring card and doing PADS in between rounds.
KSI said: “Floyd was just having too much fun with it.
“He was doing pads during the break of like the second or third round.

“He was taking the p***, it was too much and it was borderline disrespectful. I just hated it.
“I am proud of Deji but I know he can do more and I feel like it was a huge life lesson for him.”

He then travelled to Saudi Arabia to support his brother Logan in the WWE before making the trip to Dubai.
Paul took some time out and showed off his trip online, including selfies with a monkey and driving a red Ferrari.
The American also took a leaf out of Mike Tyson’s book by posing with a tiger, with the heavyweight famously having white bengals as pets.
Paul finished his time in Dubai as a special guest commentator when Fury boxed late replacement Rolly Lambert in an exhibition.

He heckled from ringside and the two later clashed post-fight with security having to restrain them with their rivalry hit new heights.
Fury’s dad and coach John claimed to have shaken hands with Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarian for a fight date in February.
Paul publicly stated online that he is ready to travel to the UK to face Fury at the third time of asking.
And he insisted he has no problem crossing enemy territory to finally commence battle – so long as he receives a signed contact within a week.

Paul, 25, tweeted: “I agree to fight Tommy in Manchester or London in February.
“I’ll come to his country, no more running. His baby is due then and you’ve said it’s no issue.
“Since John is adamant we’ve agreed, I am giving you seven days to present a signed contract by Tommy or I’m moving on.”
Twice the famous boxing foes have signed to fight but both times Fury, 23, was withdrawn.
He suffered a rib injury last December and then was pulled out in the rehashed date in August amid a US visa issue, which still persists.
Promoter Frank Warren reckons the seven-day deadline is enough time to get a deal over the line.
Warren said on talkSPORT: “It will probably be in late February or March.

“The reason why it didn’t go [before], the contracts were all signed, because of the problems he had with the US immigration.
“We are all past that now. Jake is up for coming over here and we have to get the deal finalised in the next week or so.”
