Aaron Chalmers wants to face Floyd Mayweather in 4oz gloves and calls out Tommy Fury as Geordie Shore star reveals talks

AARON CHALMERS wants his exhibition with Floyd Mayweather to be in 4oz gloves – and called out Tommy Fury. Chalmers has been announced as the next crossover boxing star to share the ring with the American legend.

Tommy Fury was once in talks to fight Aaron Chalmers
Mayweather, 45, is set to make his UK boxing debut on Febuary 25 at the O2 Arena in his sixth exhibition since officially retiring.
Meanwhile Chalmers, 35, won his professional boxing debut last year having crossed over from MMA, where he was 5-2.
The Geordie Shore star was initially brought over to boxing after entering talks to face Fury, 23, who starred on Love Island in 2019.
And although negotiations collapsed, he is out to settle the score after first sharing the ring with boxing royalty.

Chalmers said: “So I’m seeing a lot of s*** chatted online, right.
“But, at the end of the day, it’s me that’s fighting Floyd and I’ve got no hesitation of going in there and having a fight.
“That’s exactly what I’ve always done, every fight I’ve had. And once I take care of business with Floyd, then I’m going to smash Tommy Fury.
“Because he’s the reason that I got involved in boxing in the first place, was to fight him but it never materialised.”

Mayweather hung up his gloves as a pro in 2017 after beating ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, 34.
But he has returned for five exhibitions since against stars of the MMA, social media and boxing world.
His most recent came in November against YouTuber Deji, 26, which he won in six rounds.
Although the bout in Dubai faced collapse just moments before after a row over the gloves, with Deji having to wear 10oz instead of the 14oz he signed for.
But Chalmers has insisted there will be no such problems with him and is even willing to go back to his roots with the smaller 4oz gloves used in MMA.
“So, like I say I’m not Deji, I’m not asking to fight in bigger gloves, I agreed to fight in 10s and if he really wants to, let’s do it in 4s.
“Me and Floyd in 4oz gloves, doesn’t get much better than that.”

KSI ready to cancel Jake Paul grudge match if YouTube rival loses to Tommy Fury… and will fight Love Islander instead

KSI is ready to cancel his proposed grudge match with Jake Paul if his YouTube rival loses to Tommy Fury – and will fight the victor instead. The sworn internet enemies have talked up an end-of-year blockbuster to finally settle their score in the ring.

And contracts have even been exchanged, despite Paul, 26, on the verge of announcing his rescheduled bout with Fury, 23.
KSI, 29, will keep a keen eye on the anticipated clash and claimed if his American foe loses, it could spell the end of their mega-fight.
He said on Twitter: “At that point I’d probably have to fight Tommy Fury instead of Jake.
“If Tommy beats Jake then I don’t think that’s the money fight.”

KSI’s history with Paul dates back to 2018 when he drew against his brother Logan, 27, but won the rematch a year later.
The former opponents have now turned friends and business partners after the major success of their Prime hydration drink.
But Logan’s younger brother has no love lost for KSI and has gone 6-0 in his pursuit to avenge his sibling’s loss.
And he faces, on paper, his toughest test in the ring against Fury, set for February 25 in Saudi Arabia.

The two are now trying to settle their score in the ring for the THIRD time.
Tommy was forced to pull out in December 2021 due to a rib injury and then last August amid a US visa issue.
The travel woe still persists today, which left the UK and Saudi as frontrunners to host the bitter bout.
But a big-money deal from the Saudis look to have won the race with an official fight announcement imminent.

‘Cat p*** in a bottle’ – Watch John Fury SPIT OUT KSI’s Prime drink as he says son Tyson’s version is ‘the one you want’

JOHN FURY spat out KSI and Logan Paul’s Prime hydration drink – and urged fans to buy his son Tyson’s version instead. The beverage has sparked a craze in the UK, with fans scrapping to get their hands on a bottle and shops selling them on for up to £100.

But evidently Fury – the father to Tommy and Tyson – is not a fan and cannot understand the hype.
Taking a swig, he told Freebets: “Disgusting. I wouldn’t put that in my mouth.
“You couldn’t pay me a fiver to drink that. That was horrible. Can we move on from that? That was rubbish.
“What was that? Cat p*** in a bottle? It was a cross between cat p***, dog p*** and camel p***.

“Furocity’s the one you want, not that.”
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson, 34, launched his energy drink in early 2022, striking an exclusive deal with Iceland.
In the same year, boxing rivals-turned friends KSI, 29, and Paul, 27, went into business and revealed their drinks venture.
And already it has become somewhat of a sensation with fans across the world eager to see what the fuss is about.

Arsenal are sponsored by Prime and the players are huge fans, while Wayne Rooney’s son Kai was gifted a crate.
According to Dealroom.co, Prime already has an estimated worth of £18million but the pair believe it can gross billions in the future.
And amazingly, despite the major success of Prime, KSI revealed neither him or Paul have earned a penny.
Responding to re-sales, KSI tweeted: “This annoys me so much.
“We’re trying so hard to increase the supply as much as possible to try and combat the black market selling.
“Me and Logan ain’t made any money from Prime. It’s all going back into the business to increase the supply. We’re trying people.”
Looking ahead, Prime are set to debut a range of new flavours in 2023.
Blue Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Tropical Punch, Strawberry Watermelon and Orange Mango are set to hit the shelves.
The brand has confirmed the drinks, which are currently out in the US, will be reaching the UK in April.

Deontay Wilder set to fight Andy Ruiz Jr in May in WBC title eliminator with Middle East a frontrunner to host US clash

DEONTAY WILDER is set to fight Andy Ruiz Jr next in a title eliminator with the Middle East a frontrunner to host. The WBC have ordered the American pair into a final eliminator to decide the mandatory challenger for Tyson Fury’s belt.

According to ESPN, the Middle East have shown an interest in staging the fight, which is targeted for May.
But Errol Spence Jr, 32, is also set to face Keith Thurman, 34, in the same month on pay-per-view.
And Premier Boxing Champion want to avoid two PPVs in the same month, meaning Wilder’s fight with Ruiz, 33, could be moved.
The American, 37, returned in October, knocking out Robert Helenius, 39, in the first round.

It came after Wilder suffered consecutive knockout losses to Tyson Fury, 34, after their controversial 2018 draw.
The ex-champion’s team have pursued a blockbuster bout against Anthony Joshua, 33, and made it a priority.
But AJ is in line for a confidence-building tune-up fight on April 1 having suffered back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, 36.
So Wilder is ready to focus on Ruiz – who both beat and lost to Joshua in 2019 – with the winner named as next for Fury’s belt.

His manager Shelly Finkel told SunSport: “Deontay is in good spirits.
“Right now we’re looking at a couple of options and most likely we’ll be fighting Ruiz, I hope in the second quarter of the year.
“In the next couple of weeks I’ll know if that can be made.
“Ruiz is not a second-class opponent, so he’s asking for a good payday also, which makes it all the more difficult.”

Tommy Fury says he never watches Love Island and has not even seen series he starred in with girlfriend Molly-Mae

TOMMY FURY revealed he never watches Love Island – and has not even seen the series he starred in alongside girlfriend Molly-Mae. The unbeaten boxer – brother to heavyweight legend Tyson – went into the hit ITV series in 2019.

He came runner-up with now partner Molly-Mae, with the happy couple now expecting their first child together.
But Fury admitted he is not exactly a big fan of the show, either before or after his successful stint, but credits it for building his career.
He said in an interview with Tom Moore: “I never watched Love Island before doing it and I’ve not watched it since, didn’t even watch my own series back.
“But it was one of those things, Love Island has given me the platform of a world champion already.

“Everybody knows me now for Tommy Fury and what I’m like and my own personality.”

Over the last two years, he has been linked with a massive celebrity grudge match against YouTuber-turned boxer Jake Paul.
He was forced to twice pull out of their first two scheduled fights after suffering a rib injury and US visa issue.
But the two are set to announce the latest rehashed date of February 25 in Saudi Arabia.
And Fury, 23, said he will focus on a traditional path to boxing titles after a quick cash grab bout with Paul, 26.
He said: “All I see with Jake Paul is a business.
“If you want me to beat a man that can’t fight and throw millions of pounds in my face, no problem, sign me up.
“I describe it all the time as being on route 66, I need to stop off and fill my camper van up and get back on the road.
“I am on a straight and narrow road to world titles but you want me to take a slight detour for an awful lot of fuel, pick that up and jump back on the road.

But the fight could end up being overshadowed by the battle of social media sensations Paul and Fury.
The pair’s long-awaited grudge match – which has been nearly two years in the making – is on course to take place on the same night in Saudi Arabia.
And given the time difference between the UK and Saudi, the fights could very well take place at near enough the same time.
The only saving grace for Mayweather and Chalmers is that Paul vs Fury is yet to be officially announced.

But there is seemingly a chance the pair’s Saudi showdown will end up being delayed yet again.
On Wednesday, Paul sparked suggestions the bout could be pushed back with a cryptic tweet about the youngest Fury brother.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer tweeted: “Hold your horses. The man’s having a baby.”

And Fury’s growing family was a big factor in his decision to take the lucrative clash with The Problem Child.
During an appearance on The Disruptors podcast, he said: ” If you want to slap millions of pounds in front of my face to fight Jake Paul, why am I not going to do that?
“I’ve got a family to feed now any day.
“The reason I’ve taken the Jake Paul fight is it’s financially good.
“There is [a part of me that wants to shut him up] but he doesn’t get underneath my skin like that.
“He can’t get underneath my skin because I know what he’s doing.
“He’s a whiz on social media, he’s made a living off being an idiot, arrogant and calling people out.

Gallienne and Mayweather have been spotted together on and off over the last few years.
And they remain on good terms still, with the boxing legend gifting her a new £160,000 Maybach car for her birthday in October.
Mayweather has been known to splash the cash on his friends and family over the years, once buying his grandson a diamond-encrusted ROLEX.
But the American can certainly afford it having topped Forbes’ rich list of the decade in 2019 with over £700million earned.

Even after beating Conor McGregor, 34, in his 2017 retirement fight, Mayweather, 45, continues to rake it in through boxing.

His most recent came in November against YouTuber Deji, 26, which he won in six rounds.
Mayweather initially revealed Muay Thai veteran Liam Harrison, 37, as his return opponent in the UK on February 25.

Anthony Joshua warned by David Haye he is ‘doing something wrong’ in Jermaine Franklin fight if he can’t ‘blast him out’

DAVID HAYE claimed Anthony Joshua is “doing something wrong” against Jermaine Franklin if he cannot “blast him out.” AJ is set to announce Franklin as his return opponent on April 1, back at the O2 Arena for the first time in seven years.

Joshua, 33, is in need of a confidence-building win following consecutive points losses to Oleksandr Usyk, 36.
Meanwhile Franklin, 29, made a name for himself in November when he was beaten in a disputed decision by Dillian Whyte, 34.
Ex-world champion-turned retired pundit Haye, 42, forecasts no such concerns for AJ in the ring – but fears the worst if there is.
He told Pro Boxing Fans: “He should beat Jermaine Franklin.

“It was a good fight he gave Dillian Whyte, so he’s shown he has some skills, he’s shown he’s got a nice jab and some good head movement.
“But if AJ can’t blast him out of there in three or four rounds, then he’s doing something wrong.
“He’s so much bigger and stronger, so much more athletic and punches so much harder – and he’s an Olympic gold medallist.
“So, he’s got everything in his favour, he just needs to go out there and let his hands go.

“If he goes out there and tries to have a boxing match with him then he will have a hard time because the guy is quite a tricky little boxer.”
Franklin looks to have beaten southpaw duo Otto Wallin, 32, and Demsey McKean, 32, in the race to welcome Joshua back to the ring.
And following his performance against Whyte, in which many felt he should have won, Eddie Hearn defended AJ’s decision to face him.
Promoter Hearn told Boxing Social: “I just don’t understand some people’s criticism of AJ. He’s just fought Oleksandr Usyk twice.
“If he fights Demsey Mckean, Otto Wallin or Jermaine Franklin – I don’t understand what more people want.
“He’s coming back, working with a new trainer and getting a foothold in the heavyweight division.
“Jermaine Franklin is a dangerous fight, he’s full of confidence and coming off a great performance against Dillain Whyte.”
