      The American looked on in shock when the Gypsy King burst through the door and faked a punch.
      But the two soon embraced after a light-hearted face off – although fans were convinced Paul feared for his life.
      One said: “You could literally see the fear.”

      Paul and Tommy put unbeaten records, bragging rights and family reputation on the line on Sunday February 26 in Saudi Arabia.
      This is now the THIRD time the two have attempted to settle their score in the ring.
      Tommy was forced to pull out in December 2021 due to a rib injury and then last August amid a US visa issue.
      But he hopes it really is third time lucky as big brother Tyson gave a blunt warning to whoever loses the celebrity boxing bout.
      He said to Paul’s face: “The two guys are putting it on. They’re both undefeated and whoever loses is pretty much f***ed, I think.
      “There’s not a lot to say. It’s like me, when you speak a lot of s*** you have to back it up and that’s it.
      “I’ve been doing these for years, 30-odd times in a row and now it’s time for the big boys to do it. I’m excited, I’m really excited.”

      Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde judges’ scorecards at time of stoppage revealed in heartbreaking new blow to Brit

      THE judges’ scorecards for Anthony Yarde’s thrilling defeat at the hands of Artur Beterbiev made for heartbreaking reading for the brave British challenger. The two light-heavyweight punchers put on an early Fight of the Year contender at Wembley Arena.

      And Yarde, 31, pushed Beterbiev, 38, all the way until he was stopped in round eight.
      So much so that he was ahead on two of the scorecards at the time of the knockout.
      Robin Taylor had Yarde a point up at 66-67, while Jun Bae Lim saw him leading by three on 65-68.
      Only Jerome Lades scored Beterbiev winning the bout, at 67-66.

      The back-and-forth action provided fans with one of the best fights in a British ring for some time.
      A pair of clubbing right hands in the eighth put Yarde down but the resilient Londoner made it to his feet.
      Beterbiev, boxing’s only champion with a 100 per cent KO ratio, then piled on the pressure.
      Yarde’s trainer Tunde Ajayi threw in the towel while his man was still on his feet before things could get ugly.

      And he insisted Yarde – beaten for the third time – can come again. He said: “Every boxer in this category can punch hard and Anthony did too.
      “Anthony is 31, he’s young. I turned pro 28, he has time and I hope he does well in the future.”

      And the celebrity boxing rivals went face-to-face for the very first time and were forced apart by security after a fiery exchange.
      Fury’s heavyweight champion brother Tyson, 34, was sat ringside at Wembley Arena, where Anthony Yarde was beaten by Artur Beterbiev in a thriller.
      And he warned his younger brother must change his name and stay in Saudi if he fails to secure bragging rights next month.
      But former child actor Paul, 26, warned it mounts massive pressure on the younger Fury as he vowed to bury the Love Islander’s boxing career in the desert.

      He said: “He’s going to get knocked out by a Disney star, plain and simple, that’s it.

      The Beast from the East of London took on the Bond-villain at his own savage game and gave fans a thriller.
      But he was beaten into submission and left almost unrecognisable by the pound-for-pound sensation.
      After all the pantomime and fake-machismo from topless Tommy Fury and American YouTuber Jake Paul moments before in the Wembley arena ring – to flog their February 26 Saudi Arabia showdown – it was back to real boxing.
      The Canada-based Russian arrived in London with over 300 amateur bouts, three world titles, two Olympics, 18 pro wins and a 100 per cent KO ratio.

      Yarde only had 12 amateur fights – after being a football, rugby and athletics star – and had twice tasted defeat in the paid ranks.
      The bookies had Yarde a huge underdog but he had seven years on his side and home advantage.
      Yarde made the brighter start with fizzing jabs and a couple of lead-left hooks, he even seemed to stagger the terrifying 38-year-old with one blow but neither man was hurt in the opener.
      Brutal Beterbiev’s pale white face was slapped red by the second and he didn’t like it one bit.

      He pushed the brave Brit back into a corner and tried to bludgeon him.
      But the Ilford ace ducked and dodged and landed more left hooks instead.
      The crowd was starting to believe in their boy.
      In the third Yarde lost his mouthguard so both boxers got a breather while it was cleaned and replaced.
      The undefeated champ cracked Yarde’s ribs with a booming right hand and scored with more jabs, he was starting to find his timing and the tide felt like it was slowly turning against the Englishman.
      Yarde’s second world title shot looked doomed at the start of the fourth when he was the target of a savage right hand and had his head rocked back by hammer-like jabs.

      But the pretty boy showed hidden depths of fire and steel, wiping away his blood, slashing back and staying in the contest.
      Beterbiev looked both terrifying and vulnerable at the same time. It was magnificent action.
      Yarde lost his gumshield again at the start of the fifth, a worrying sign of early exhaustion as he gasped through his mouth instead of his nose.
      But then Beterbiev was buzzed by an arrow of a Yarde right hand and looked in deep danger.
      Somehow the Soviet beard absorbed the blow and he ended the round battering Yarde, the challenger did incredibly well to make the bell.

      Yarde’s right eye was a mess by the time the sixth started, he needed a miracle to survive, let alone spring the upset.
      Our man kept jabbing at his rival and dabbing at his oozing eye and then he caught a left hook that would have fallen anyone without a heart as huge as his.
      By round seven Yarde had scythed a gash into Beterbiev’s left eye too. This was a brilliant bloodbath.
      Yarde landed heavy scoring shots in the seventh but at the end of the session he got pinned into Beterbiev’s blue corner and took a pasting.
      Yarde’s spirit looked broken in the eighth when he was finally floored and looked beaten.

      But he somehow dragged himself off of the canvas to beat ref Steve Gray’s count and was desperate to continue.

      And Paul travelled to London to square up to Fury before Anthony Yarde’s light-heavyweight title challenge against Artur Beterbiev.
      The two went nose-to-nose, exchanging fiery words and had to be forced apart before tempers boiled over.
      Fury, 23, said: “Come 26th of February, this s***’s been going on too long, he’ll never box again.
      “I’m not 50, I ain’t 40, I ain’t an MMA guy, I’ve been doing this my whole life and I swear to God you’re finished come 26th of February.”

      Paul, 26, hit back: “He’s fought taxi drivers, he’s got no chin, it’s all a joke. I’m ending you February 26th and you already know it.

      And Hall of Famer Arum revealed a deal could be confirmed by next week with only a date and location to be finalised.
      The promoter is in London to watch Artur Beterbiev, 38, defend his unified light-heavyweight belts against Anthony Yarde, 31.
      And he took a seat ringside with Fury ahead of the WBC, IBF and WBO title fight, also reuniting with Derek Chisora, 38, who he beat in December.
      The Gypsy King is sure to have asked how negotiations are progressing for his historic unification.

      Saudi Arabia has emerged as a frontrunner to host the historic title fight with the boxers negotiating separate deals.
      Arum confirmed an agreement to fight is in place with the date and venue to be imminently announced.
      Arum told Sky Sports: “I think both of the fighters have agreed to the fight, I think the question is where the site will be. 
      “That will be sorted out hopefully next week and we’ll have an announcement shortly.

      Arum has refused to rule out Fury, 34, fighting Usyk, 35, on home soil at Wembley Stadium.
      But he admitted the prizefighters could be convinced over to the desert, where the most money can be made.
      Arum said: “It depends what the deals are and so forth.
      “There are a number of us that would prefer the fight to be in Wembley, but again it depends on the money.
      “The fighters have a very short limit of their careers and they have to make whatever money, particularly large amounts of money, because in a few years it’s not going to be available.
      “I just think it’s going to be a tremendous fight.”

      In 2014 he beat Shawn Porter in California to become IBF World Welterweight champion.
      But two weeks later he was slashed three times with a machete in Tenerife and needed 32 metal staples.
      In 2016 he lost a fight while suffering a broken eye socket.
      In 2020 he admitted suffering depression afterwards, recalling: “It ruined me.
      “It was a very dark time.
      “I needed counsellors, the lot.
      “Words can’t describe how low I’ve been.”
