    Former Love Island star Fury silenced the loud-mouthed Problem Child with a split decision victory in their Diriyah dust-up.
    And he was by far the busier fighter out of the two.
    Fury, 23, threw nearly DOUBLE the number of punches Paul did, pumping out 302 to his rival’s 157.
    But both men only landed at a near 30 per cent clip, with Paul finding the target 49 times to Fury’s 88 successful strikes.

    The majority of Paul’s punches were power shots, although only 24 of them landed.
    Fury landed close to double the number of power punches, finding a home for his big strikes 49 times.
    Neither man found a real home for their jabs, with Paul landing 32 per cent of his range finders to Fury’s 25.
    An emotional Fury broke down in tears moments after winning the biggest fight of his novice career.

    He said: “These are tears of joy. Jake was a true warrior. He was a better man than I expected.”
    On the being knocked down late in the fight, he said: “It was not a knockdown, it was a slip.
    “He took good shots and he was much better than I thought he was.”
    When pressed on a potential rematch, he added: “If he wants a rematch he can have it.
    “I want to see my baby girl and my missus and spend some time at home.”
    A dejected Paul said: “All respect to Tommy he won, don’t judge me by m wins judge me by my losses, I’ll come back.

    Fury celebrated wildly in the ring after two judges scored it 76-73 in his favour with the other favouring Paul 75-74.
    He then broke down in tears and declared he would accept a rematch if Paul wanted it.
    And many fans believe that should happen as they feel his American opponent was robbed – despite the majority of viewers and experts agreeing that Fury edged it.
    One tweeted: “Terrible, never seen a more rigged match than this.”

    Fury avoided a major slip up by getting up from the canvas in the eighth and final round to edge out the split-decision over Paul.

    Fury took home bragging rights, family reputations and most importantly remained unbeaten in Saudi Arabia.
    Two judges scored the bout 76-73 in his favour with one going 75-74 to Paul, who scored a knockdown in the last stanza.
    Fury was floored with just minutes to go with a jab, but seemed to lose his balance more than anything else.
    The tearful 23-year-old star dedicated the win to his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague and newborn baby daughter Bambi.
    Fury said afterwards: “For the past two and a half years this has consumed my life but tonight I secured my own legacy.
    “I dedicate this to my new baby Bambi at home and my missus, I miss you baby, I love you.
    “I knew I would win this fight, I had the world and pressure on my shoulders but I came through. This is a world title for me.
    “This was my first main event. I will come back bigger and better and stronger, if he wants the rematch he can bring it on.
    “These are tears of joy.”

    BT Sport issued an apology for the foul language
    And he tried to get inside the head of Fury between the third and fourth rounds with an x-rated rant.
    He said: “Tommy Fury if you can hear me, you’re a b***h, you’re gassing out.”
    Broadcasters BT Sport were forced to issue a swift apology for Logan’s rant.
    In a mid-broadcast banner, they wrote: “We apologise for any offence caused by the bad language.”

    BOXING fans were in hysterics after Mike Tyson broke out into laughter after a knockout on the Jake Paul v Tommy Fury undercard. Badou Jack piled the pressure on his opponent Illunga Makabu and eventually stopped the Congolese boxer in the 12th round.

    The cameras cut to Tyson and the 56-year-old could be seen cracking up in laughter as he watched on.
    Fans could not believe their eyes at the moment.
