He said: “So I’m leaving the Miami Heat game and Floyd Mayweather and 50 dudes pull up out of nowhere.
“Out of some like side alley waiting for me outside of this stadium. And they’re like, ‘So, what’s up? What’s all that talk now?’

“Floyd, if you want to run it one-on-one, no problem but I’m not dumb. I’m tough, I don’t need to prove my toughness.

“You’re made cause’ I took your f*****g hat, are you serious? Get over it, bro. Move on.”
Paul’s feud with Mayweather started two years ago, before his brother Logan’s June 2021 exhibition with the boxing legend.
The self-proclaimed “Problem Child” stole Mayweather’s cap at a press conference, sparking a mass brawl.
A month later, Logan, 27, went the eight-round distance in the exhibition bout.
Paul, 26, has rivalled Mayweather, 46, ever since and called to settle it in the ring.
But since then, the American has tasted defeat for the first time in seven fights, losing to Tommy Fury, 23, in February.
The pair are now eyeing a rematch in July, meanwhile Mayweather recently boxed in his sixth exhibition since officially retiring in 2017.

But despite his worldwide fame, the American was determined to keep his word and head to the Handsworth district of Birmingham back in August 1983.
According to the Daily Mail, Ali received no money for his trip to open the centre.
The man, who just a year later would be diagnosed with Parkinson’s, was “picked up from Heathrow in a Birmingham businessman’s Rolls Royce and serenaded by the TV-AM chef Rustie Lee, a television celebrity at that time, in her Handsworth restaurant.”
The Muhammad Ali Centre was built so that local youngsters would be able to use it for the likes of karate classes, music nights and its pool tables.

As he officially unveiled it, Ali told the packed audience: “I’m not just boasting by saying I’m the greatest. We’re the greatest.”
Now, as these pictures show, the Muhammad Ali Centre is in a state of complete dereliction.
The stage upon which the boxing icon once stood is covered in bird poo with the bar area completely smashed up.
A number of pool tables have been turned upside down among the scorched remains of chairs with rubbish piling up outside.

A fire forced the centre to close in 2002 and it has been owned by local organisation, Kajans Women’s Enterprise, for the past seven years.
Gary Newbon was a reporter for ATV at the time of Ali’s visit and covered the grand opening.
He told the Mail: “He was so keen on community and those he called his ‘brothers’ in Handsworth clearly meant so much.
“Opening that place was a big thing for him. It’s a scandal how it’s gone to rack and ruin.”

I knocked down Muhammad Ali, fought a BEAR, went to jail for drug possession and inspired the Rocky films

HE knocked down Muhammad Ali, twice fought a bear and was sentenced to 10 years in jail. The real-life inspiration for the Rocky movies really had some tough times.

Chuck Wepner, 83, broke his nose nine times in 16 years and was known as the Bayonne Bleeder because such messy injuries were his hallmark.
And for the man who joined the Marines aged 15, his incredible experiences make those of Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Balboa character seem like a week in a kindergarten.
Chuck told the BBC: “Where I grew up, there were always two or three gangs.
“And more or less you had to go up there and beat up the toughest guy to survive, which I did. I’d have a fight almost every week.”

Following three years in the Marines he had 52 pro fights, winning 36 and succumbing to all-time greats like Ali, Sonny Liston and George Foreman.
Liston gave him 71 of the 328 stitches he believes he’s had over the years – always with only ice to dull the pain.
Wepner says he always gave everything in the ring: “Jesus, absolutely. I would go in there ready to die.”
And with real Rocky undertones he added: “Matter of fact, after the Liston fight, I was in a semi-coma and I was in shock.

“My doctor told my mother I was pretty banged up. I really thought about whether I wanted to continue.
“But then I thought, I gotta try, I gotta try again. I gotta give it one more shot.”
And it was such spirit, as a 10-1 outsider against Ali, that inspired one spectator to dash off to write the screenplay for Rocky, which became the most popular film of 1976.
Wepner became only the fourth person to floor the iconic Ali.
But, to the dismay of a crowd who had switched sides to roar him on, he was stopped 19 seconds from the end of the full 15 rounds.
Denying claims from Ali’s camp that their man had tripped when sent to the canvas in his ninth-round moment of fame, Wepner said: “Strike me dead, I dropped him.
“I hit him with that punch and you can hear it on the replay, He was off balance and I dropped him and he knew it.”
But he added: “I could see his eyes and I thought, I’ve really got him angry now! That’s when he started counter punching and swearing at me.”
Wepner went on to fight wrestling legend Andre “The Giant” Rene Roussimoff, against whom he was counted out in a staged fight.
Fans had turend from backing Ali to brave underdog Wepner but he was stopped just 19 seconds fromt he end of the 15th and final roundCredit: Getty – Contributor
Then came two bouts with Victor the performing bear.
Victor was so riled by continuous jabs to the head that he hurled Wepner across the ring.
But the American revealed a darker side began looming in his life as he turned to “solving problems”.
He said: “Let’s say I did a couple favours for friends of mine, you know.
“I used to go around and ask people politely [about the money they owed] and then maybe I have to smack them in the face or something.”
After retiring from boxing in 1979, Wepner admits he took cocaine – one reason he failed an audition for Rocky II.
And in 1986 he was jailed for 10 years for possessing drugs – only to be treated as a hero by inmates and paroled after three years.
He explained: “Give me a break. It was fine.
“Everywhere I went, the guys were singing: ‘Champ, Champ!’ and saying to me, ‘How are you doing, Chuck?'”
Wepner then won an undisclosed sum after suing for not being credited in the Rocky franchise.
And now he’s got a statue in his honour.

Not quite the equivalent of one of the three Oscars the first Rocky film won.
But it’s still worthy recognition for a man whose character helped sculpt one of the most famous sporting characters in cinema history. More

Tyson Fury turns down 60/40 to winner deal from Oleksandr Usyk as Ukrainian looks to force historic unification fight

TYSON FURY has “turned down” a 60/40 to the winner deal to fight Oleksandr Usyk in April, the Ukrainian’s team claim. The duo are targeting a historic heavyweight unification bout.

The huge fight could take place on British soil at Wembley Stadium, with an April 29 date being targeted.
But Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk has bemoaned the demands of Fury’s camp.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “Frank Warren said he’s got a pot and he needs to get the agreement of both parties to participate, and if the money in the pot is not enough it won’t happen.
“I completely agree with it. On our side, we have nothing more to add.

“We are not asking for a figure, we are asking for a split and probably the split doesn’t work well if someone is asking for a figure, and I can definitely say that it’s not our party.
“We have said that we want this fight to happen as much as possible and we are in the position to share whatever the fight generates.
“If it generates a lot, then we are happy to share it. If it doesn’t, it is what it is.
“But it’s all about the glory, it’s all about the legacy, it’s all about the huge thing, the fight has never happened before so we are really thirsty to make it happen.

“But boxing is a sport of two men and if only Usyk gets into the ring, there won’t be a match for undisputed. It will be shadowboxing of the unified champion.
“What can I say? We are open, we are ready to go, maybe someone wants to avoid the danger and to stay in a comfortable position. I don’t know and I really don’t care.
“If Tyson doesn’t show up, we still have the belts and we go our way.”
On their exact demands, Krassyuk added: “We initially agreed for 50/50. But then Tyson was asking for some bigger money.
“So we made it clear that we are ready to go 60/40, but the winner takes 60. That was our latest offer.”
Asked to clarify if Team Fury had turned that offer down, Krassyuk confirmed: “Yes, exactly.”

Despite difficulties getting the deal over the line, Krassyuk remains “optimistic” that the fight will be made.
He concluded: “I am experienced and I’ve been here for a while. Normally when a fighter does not want to take a fight, he asks for something impossible so it doesn’t take place.
    Read More on The Sun
“On the other side, I’m really optimistic. Maybe Tyson is not ready yet. Maybe he’s is not ready mentally, maybe he’s not ready physically, whatever, I don’t know and we don’t really care.
“We want to make it happen. If he doesn’t want it, we can’t make him want it. So what can I say? The fight should happen someday.”
